Abstract

The kitchen is part of a house used as a place to cook. On the flats, especially type 18m2 kitchen presence is not in each occupancy because of limited land, but placed together in one location with a limited area called a shared kitchen. The presence of a shared kitchen is actually very important in flats, but construction did not pay attention to the rules of ergonomics and comfort user's perception of working in the kitchen. As a result, it sometimes leads to complaints during cooking, even some residents decline to use the shared kitchen for reasons of design and placement of the shared kitchen. Therefore, it requirestable'sheight adjustment when cooking with an ideal height of 10 cm below elbow height. This adjustment is expected to create a more ergonomic attitude in cooking activities. This study used a sample of 30 occupants of the towers using qualitative research method with a case study approach. The study found all the important variables related to the subject under study, in this case, is the size of the field work, circulation, and the height of the work tool. The results showed that the design of a shared kitchen that is used now by the inhabitants of the towers is less ergonomic with a high position table is too high and the placement tool supporting tools are not in place so that cooking can improve skeletal muscle complaints.

Abstract

Cultural identity refers to the characteristics or sign possessed by a cultured group. Cultural identity will be attached to the identity of members of the cultural group. One of the cultural identity inherent in Surabaya is the term "Bonek". At first, the Bonek call was only intended for football supporter of Persebaya in Surabaya, but later it become the one of the stereotypes inherent in the people of Surabaya as a whole. Image of Bonek can not be separated from the abbreviation of the word itself, ie bondo nekat or it means dare to do anything to support them despite not having capital (material). Bonek appearance that tends to 'quirky' and not neatly also create a negative impression. Bonek also often reported getting into fight with other supporters, security apparatus, or journalists so that create a fanatical supporters image can not be separated by the riots that happen inside or outside the stadium. This prejudice will obviously disadvantageous to Surabaya supporters who are sportive and orderly when their support Persebaya Surabaya. Bonek Campus is one of the community of Persebaya Surabaya supporters who has been established since 2011. Their existence will give its own color to the diversity of football supporters in Surabaya, even Indonesia. Job satisfaction is closely related to employee attitudes to various factors in the work, among others: work situation, social influence in work, rewards, and other factors. Job satisfaction is the general attitude of an individual to his work. Abstract

The operations of the company are always faced with the problem of meeting the needs of funds. Company funding is closely related to the selection and combination of internal funding sources and external funding sources. The funding decision of the capital structure determines the company in carrying out its operating activities that affect the company's value. There are two perspectives in determining the funding decision of capital structure, namely trade-off theory and pecking order theory. This study aimed to analyze the effect of capital structure funding decision variables according to the perspective of trade-off theory and pecking order theory on capital structure funding decision. The study population were companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index. There were 30 sample companies used during the period of June to November 2016.The result showed that according to trade-off theory, firm size and growth influenced to leverage, but tangible fixed assets and profitability had no effect on leverage. While according to pecking order theory perspective, it showed that only variable of growth that influenced to leverage. Thus it can be concluded that companies in Jakarta Islamic Index tend to follow trade-off theory perspective.

Abstract

The academic transcripts management system in UPN "Veteran" of East Java is currently arranged based on the courses that have been taken by students who are sorted alphabetically. The problem is there is no information about the courses in each semester, so the academic transcript can not be used to know the progress of student learning. It also can not know whether there is a course that has not been taken in the previous semesters, because it can affect the process of taking courses in the next semester related to the rules of the prerequisite course. The system also lists all the courses that have been taken by the student although re-taking the course. Thus, grade point average/GPA on the Transcript is actually less valid, since the calculation of GPA should only be based on the course with the best score (when the student repeats the same course). In addition, how to know which courses have graduated and not graduated must be done through manual examination. These problems are currently done manually, which is certainly very inefficient. In this study, the application system was developed to manage the Academic Transcripts (Information System of Academic Transcripts Management). In this system, courses of old curriculum will be converted to new curriculum courses. Transcript only include graduated courses, classified per semester on the current Curriculum. The system is also designed to provide information on what courses have been taken and which have not. With this new system, the management of Academic Transcripts can be done more effectively and efficiently, thereby reducing errors and abuse intentionally or unintentionally. This certainly supports the performance of academic supervision by leaders at the level of study program, faculty, and university.

Abstract

Energy is one of the main needs in the current era. According to the law of conservation of energy, that energy can neither be created nor destroy, but energy can be change from one form to another. Energy can classify into two forms: the silent energy called the potential energy, and the moving energy called kinetic energy. The potential energy usually stored in raw energy sources are petroleum, coal, or still air. Kinetic energy usually stored in a negative energy source is wind or running water. Electricity is one form of energy that is widely used for various purposes a day. A lot of energy that turns into a form of electrical energy, one of which is petroleum. To simulate electrical goods by using electric energy more effectively. This paper a series of Double Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDC) was create, to produce more effective motion energy in the utilization of electrical source. The prototype of this paper uses two equal BLDCs motor, one motor used as an AC generator to provide feedback from the resulting results. It expected that this prototype can be used as a tool of motion with effective electrical energy.
