Abstract

Reform of management of local or village finance after the Act No. 22 of 199 and Law No 25 in 1999. As a concrete effort, the government issued a regulation on the Management and Accountability of regional finance. Wadung Asri is the best village in Sidoarjo in the financial management of village and district. Sidoarjo is an example of Successful Regional Autonomy in East Java. In this research, it is explained about Budget Realization Report of Wadung Asri village in 2015 to 20016 and how its performance from the report. Observing the village's original income (PAD), the village of Wadung Asri PADes is 7.78%. if using UGM standard then Wadung Asri village is not autonomous because it is still under 10% so Wadung Asri Village still rely on outside fund that is equal to 92,21% revenue from transfer. By 2015 in 2016, the original income of 6.94% actually decreased by the previous year. Fund from outside of the transfer of 93.05% is also larger than the previous year, thus the financial performance of the village in the village of Wadung Asri is not good. In fact, the budget defisit amounted to Rp 20,641,462.61 or 1.48% of the expenditures closed with the proceeds from the sale of village land.

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet resulted in increasing internet users in Indonesia. Today the internet is easily found in Indonesian family homes. Therefore, many early age children who already know the internet. Even the children are deliberately facilitated by their parents to be able to easily access the internet. The condition is of course very worrying because of the impact of the internet is also great for the development of children. Some studies also illustrate that the internet disrupts relationships within the family. This study examines how Mother's role in protecting her children against the invasion of the internet. This study uses a Computer-Mediated-Communication (CMC) perspective which states that computers have changed the shape of human social relationships. This brings with it social and cultural consequences in human life. This research was conducted by using the qualitative method with maternal and child analysis unit as a research subject. The technique of data retrieval is done by using in-depth interview and observation participant whereas technique analyzes data use descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that Mother still assesses the existence of the internet in the house needed to support the activities of his children, including in helping complete school tasks. Therefore, parents easily provide support facilities so that their children can easily access the internet. Furthermore, this research also shows that in performing assistance there are three categories that apply the rules in using the internet, doing active mediation, and activity online together.

Abstract

Visual design and souvenir products UPN "Veteran" of East Java is a research theme to introduce UPN "Veteran" of East Java as the campus “Bela Negara” (State Defense). UPN "Veteran" of East Java is the only state university that has the character of “Bela Negara”. However, the general public outside the campus not many people know about it. We try to introduce this character to general public and academic community. Since 2010 “Bela Negara” was the identity of UPN "Veteran" of East Java. The character of State Defense is applied through visual images and then implemented into various souvenir products. Souvenir image implementation process is done by screen printing technique. The process of screen printing is not easy, it requires special skills in the field of graphic design. The stages of the screen printing process will be used as a guide book for the next event. This book is also used as a screen printing practice book for Visual Communication Design students. The method of this research outline through two stages, namely: (1) preparation stage; (2) the stage of creation. The preparation stage includes problem formulation, data collection, analysis, and problem solving. While the stage of creation includes pre-production, production and postproduction.

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to raise awareness of the dangers of excessive media usage on children and to improve parenting skills related to children media activities. Considering that the Information and Communication Technology has become an important part of people's lives from the various aspect. Even recently children have known and become an expert in using gadgets. In this case, the role of parents is needed to be wise in providing communication media to children. Based on preliminary observations, the use of gadgets by children was due to lack of supervision and restrictions by their parents. To overcome these problems, the solution offered is to organize a Media Literation counseling addressed to parents of Al-Hikmah Kindergarten with the theme of Literacy Media: Improving Parents Skills in parental mediation and parental co-viewing of the use of Gadgets on kindergarten students. This activity used counseling methods to increase awareness of parents' knowledge of the dangers of excessive use of digital media with methods of exposure, case study and discussion and Question and Answer. So that parents have a strong awareness and willingness to limit and accompany the use of media in children. In addition, through the training method, parents will be equipped with skills to calculate and design the number and content of media that appropriate to the age of the child by using the method of "media diary", as well as the skills of media supervision and assistance that is real and fun. The post-training survey showed that the training had increased the awareness of parents about the importance of mentoring and supervision to children in using digital media. This counseling also received a positive response from the participants and they committed to supervise and mentor their children.

Abstract

Lebay Crackers (Catfish and Spinach Calcium) have a high nutritional content, this cracker is made from natural ingredients of the combination of catfish with spinach vegetables. Utilization of Science and Technology for Society (PIKAT) needs to be implemented with the intention to transfer appropriate technology especially in the field of processing of fishery with spinach vegetable Type of processed catfish that will be developed is Lupil Cracker mixed with Spinach Spinach (Lebay Crackers). The development of processed business Catfish chips Blended with spinach vegetables (Lebay Crackers) is in addition to potential as a profitable business, on the other hand, can also give a more positive impact for the economic improvement of surrounding communities. First, Lebay Kerupuk processed business opens job opportunities for Ibu Inayah and the community. With the existence of dough cracker processing machine that has technology reliability, simple shape, easy to operate, and can increase the quantity and quality of production and make packaging.

Abstract

Utilization of the potential or local wisdom of a village by the community if managed properly will be a source of income. The purpose of community service is the empowerment of the community in utilizing the processed marine fish in making fish crackers. Implementation of dedication in Gisik Cemandi hamlet is because fishing communities mostly tend to rely on fish catches for sale directly. Based on these conditions it is done dedication in improving the processed fish. This incident is done by counseling and training in making fish crackers, especially made from milkfish. Participants of extension and training as many as 30 divided into 6 groups consisting of locals, especially mothers. The outcomes and training are expected to provide housewives skills. Skills acquired can be developed to open a business of making crackers that impact on increasing opinions and family welfare.

Abstract

As one of the educational institutions, pesantren is required to accelerate and transform significantly. If the first scope of output is limited to the religious dimension alone, then nowadays pesantren graduates are expected to contribute in many aspects of community life. This is the opportunity and challenge of boarding school in developing science and technology education. In an effort to fulfill these demands, pesantren established formal education which besides teaching religious knowledge, also taught general science. Therefore, the mastery of science and technology is a must for us, one of them is in the field of information technology. The development of applications in the field of information technology has a major impact in various areas of life, not least in the field of creative industries such as printing, digital image processing, and graphic design. This requires us to provide training to students or students so that they can keep up with them and be able to use them for their supplies after they graduate. Some image processing applications have been developed. However, the popular and widely used app for the task is CorelDraw. CorelDraw is a computer application for processing on line 2 vectors. This application also often has an important role in the work field of publications or printing, as well as other areas that need the process of visualization. At Al-Iqbal Pesantren this example of a place that has not utilized a design technology to support internal and external activities such as making brochures, articles and so forth. With an application from CorelDraw, Al-Iqbal Pesantren will be able and able to make various products based on design technology to support existing activities in Pesantren AL-Iqbal and also can create entrepreneurship for students also become more valuable for the pesantren itself and able to create the ability on the use of design technology.

Abstract

One of the important competencies in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is Computer Network (which includes the development of Information Technology infrastructure and computer network security). One part of competence in the Computer Network scope is the use of Mikrotik equipment that is needed in the practical field. Currently, many agencies and industries whose computer network infrastructure use Mikrotik-based devices. The development of activity program that leads students to the preparation of this competency is clearly necessary. With regard to the competence of Mikrotik's own expertise, the existence of a Mikrotik certificate becomes proof that someone has mastered this competency. To get this certificate, of course, must follow the Mikrotik Certification program which cost is relatively expensive. In addition, this certification program is quite difficult to pass. So anyone who wants to follow this certification needs preparation adequately. The grant program of UPN "Veteran" of East Java (JARIT) which has been implemented aims to direct the Laboratory at the Faculty of Computer Science not only for the activities of the Practicum course, but also as the Center for the preparation of students in improving their competence, especially those related to the Professional Certification, Mikrotik devices. The hope when graduating students will not only have an undergraduate degree but also professional competence through Certification.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the application of accrual accounting in the financial reporting presents creative industry businesses to better support decision making. The application of accrual accounting can provide important information for entrepreneurs. The information generated from the recording process can be used to analyze and measure performance as financial capabilities of a business, especially SMEs craftsman creative industries. Data collection using observation method and interview with the resource (entrepreneur) with cluster sample selection technique, involving 5 (five) persons in each representative of the business group from each region. The result shows that Understanding accrual basis system for business actor especially creative industry entrepreneurs in Surabaya Surabaya region requires gradual learning comprehension of recording system based on accrual for business actor need learning gradually and continuously. Through motivation, determination and hard work can be a key factor in the successful implementation of accrual-based accounting to realize community empowerment.

Abstract

In the country of Indonesia, especially in big cities like Surabaya, the need for education services is one of the most important things for the community. One form of educational services based on information technology that can run the school that is a complete package of educational applications. Complete education application will greatly support the learning and teaching process in school. In the year 2017 on our campus UPN “Veteran” of East Java, the Institute of Research and Community Service to open a community service scheme called Risma. Our Risma activities consist of two parts: first part we are training for teachers at SMP Catholic Santo Yusup Tropodo Waru Sidoarjo as our place to organize Risma activities. In the second phase, we started uploading the entire school application package into the hosting and domain services we rent and we manage to make the best use of it for the school. As a collection of Applications this school then we give name Risma for School Year 2017 which we short as RS 2017. RS 2017 consists of student absentee recap application, student recap, a recap of student guidance and counseling, student payment data recap, new student admission, and school profile web. The collaboration of all these applications into Integrated Education Information System that is ready to operate in schools in Indonesia. RS 2017 we have installed and settings on the risma2017.com domain page. On the web, risma2017.com will get articles that explain the training activities that we implement, the links to the implementation of the application and also a tutorial to run the application.
