Abstract

This study aim to reveal the influence of quality motivation, economic motivation and achievement motivation towards Accounting students’ interest in taking Accounting profession education. This study was conducted in Yogyakarta in academic year 2013/2014. This study is a quantitative using Cluster Sampling technique or grouping sample taking. As the population was Accounting students in Yogyakarta. The total number of sample was 140 form 3 private universities with B accreditation. The analysis technique used was bifilar regression analysis with 0,05 of the significance level. The result of the study showed that wholly, motivation such quality motivation, career motivation, economic motivation and achievement motivation had influence over the interest of Accounting student to take the PPAk with 0,000 of the significance value. However, partially the quality motivation and achievement motivation did not influence the interest of students to take the PPAk with 0,367 and 0,210 of significance value each. Variables which were significantly influential towards students’ interest to take the PPAk were career motivation with 0,02 of significance value and economic motivation with 0,04 of significance value.

Abstract

This research conducted to analyze the impact of viral marketing to brand equity of Samsung smartphone. The Samsung smartphone was dominating the Indonesian smartphone’s market in 2015, since the online marketing and the viral marketing became the buzz word for business in the last ten years. This study focused to an empirical study that was conducted to 100 undergraduate students in Yogyakarta. The data were collected from consumers of Samsung smartphone and was tested for its construct validity and reliability and regression was applied to test the hypotheses. This findings indicated that viral marketing had a significant and positive influence to brand equity of Samsung smartphone, and showed that viral merketing had a huge potential distribution channel to marketing the product.

Abstract

The industrial revolution resulted in several industries changing their management in order to survive, one of the industries that was affected quite considerably was the trading industry. This study aims to analyze stock return and Trade Volume Activity (TVA) of trading companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) before and after Harbolnas (Hari Belanja Online Nasional) or National Online Shopping Days. The samples are all trading companies that have listed on the IDX in the year 2019. This study use multiple linear regression with a significance level of 5%. The results show there are no significant differences in the abnormal return before and after Harbolnas, and there are no significant differences in the TVA before and after the harbolnas

Abstract

This study aims to determine building consumer trust to increase WOM on E-Commerce Shopee (Case study on UST FE students). In this study, the sample used was UST FE students as many as 96 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The results of the analysis show that Web Design has a positive effect on Satisfaction with Shopee users on FE UST. The most dominant factor influencing Wom shopee is Trust.Keyword: Shopee, WOM, trust

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian se-peda motor Suzuki di Yogyakarta. Sampel yang dijadikan obyek penelitian sebanyak 98 responden pengguna sepeda motor Suzuki di Yogyakarta. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode sampel non probabilitas yaitu Purposive Sam-pling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan kuisioner. Se-dangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi li-nier berganda, dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 16,0. Hasil penelitian ini menun-jukkan bahwa berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian baik secara simultan dan parsial. Ditunjukkan pada nilai faktor harga, kualitas, desain, dan kenyamanan, secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembe-lian, dibuktikan dengan nilai t masing-masing sebesar 3,239(X1); 2,245(X2); 1,999(X3); 4,530(X5) dan nilai signifikansi yang kurang dari 0,05 masing-masing sebesar 0,002(X1); 0,026(X2); 0,048(X3) dan 0,000(X5). Variabel faktor kemudahan perawatan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan karena t sebesar 0,153 dengan nilai signifikan-si 0,879 > 0,05. Hasil Uji F dengan nilai Fhitung 37.664 dan signifikansi 0,000. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa secara bersama-sama faktor harga, kualitas, desain, kemudahan perawatan dan kenyamanan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Dari hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi nilai R = 0,820 menunjukkan mempunyai hubungan yang kuat terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sedangkan nilai Adjusted R2 sebesar 0,654 hal ini berarti sebesar 65,4% menyumbangkan perubahan variabel X terhadap Y dan si-sanya 34,6% tidak dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasuk-kan dalam model penelitian ini.

Abstract

The research was carried out to find the influence of knowledge, skill and ability of leather industry in Manding-Bantul, Yogyakarta. The population of this research were all employees at leather industry in Manding Bantul, Yogyakarta and the sample were 60 respondents. The data was derived from a survey and collected by applying questionnaires and analyzed by using multiple linear regressions. This research indicated that factors of knowledge, skill dan ability, all together showed a significant influence on the worker performance. These were indicated by the value of F amounting to 46,328 with the significance level of 0,000, where as R square counting to 0,713. The regression coefficient and the significant level of each factor of knowledge, skill and ability toward worker performance are 0,145 and 0,012; 0,541 and 0,000; 0,304 and 0,000; respectively.

Abstract

The performance of The goverment institutions is now under the spotlight along with the improvement in public awareness on the course of general public administration.People are getting more and more intelligent and critical. They have demand for transparancy, clean, economical, effectual, responsive and accountable. The aim of this research is to discover the financial performance of Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul during year 2010-2013. The test was done by using value for money method to measure the financial performance from the perspective of economy, effectiveness and efficiency which has shown in the annual budgetary report and realization from 2010-2013. The result from financial analysis on Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul has shown that in economic perspective the financial management in Bantul can be said to be economical in year 2010 and getting better in 2011-2013. From effectiveness it can be said to be very effectual from 2010 till 2013, and from efficiency perspective Bantul Administration was not efficient in 2010, but in 2011 can be said to be very efficient and then in 2012-2013 can be said to be inefficient.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of discipline, emotional intelligence and communication to employee performance. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires. The population of this study was all 35 employees of the Wiladeg Gunungkidul Village Hall. Data analysis method used multiple regression analysis, validity test, reliability, hypothesis testing (T test and F test) and test the coefficient of determination. The result of this study concluded that based on regression analysis obtained the following equation Y =  0,123 + 0,120X1 + 0,066X2 + 0,364X3 + e. Based on the hypothesis testing, the F test is known that joinly (simultaneously) variable discipline, emotional intelligence and communication significant effect on employee performance. The result of the t test (partial testing), variable discipline, emotional intelligence  and communication has significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of learning in higher education and finan-cial education in the family on financial literacy in accounting students of the Faculty of Business, PGRI University Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative and uses primary data, namely ques-tionnaires. This study determined all active stu-dents majoring in Accounting, Faculty of Busi-ness, the University of PGRI Yogyakarta as a population. The sample used as many as 90 re-spondents who fit the criteria that have taken financial management courses. The method used in this study was to distribute questionnaires to respondents using google form and using the SPSS version 25 application to test hypotheses with descriptive statistics, validity tests, reliabil-ity tests, normality tests, and multiple linear re-gression analysis. This study resulted in two var-iables, learning in higher education and financial education in the family, which positively influenced financial literacy in accounting stu-dents at the Yogyakarta Business Faculty. This study's result has implications for lecturers in universities, especially PGRI Yogyakarta Univer-sity, to uphold student's formal financial learn-ing. Also, the results of this study impact the par-ents of students as financial education advisers at home to always maintain what has been taught. For Accounting students, the Business Faculty itself is always able to apply the knowledge of both.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of compensation and career development toward the quality of work life in the hospital nurses in Kota Yogyakarta. The sample of this research is 75 people, taken from a population of 284 people. Data was collected by applying questionnaires, analized by using multiple linier regression,and processed with the SPSS application program. Based on the result of data analysis, it was showed that the two independent variables, namely compensation (X1), and career development (X2),) influenced partially or simultaneously on quality of work life (Y), thus partially or simultaneously supporting the 3 hypotheses. Those were indicated by the value of regression coefficient and the significant level of each factor which are 0.227 and 0.009; 0,546 and 0,000, respectively. Likewise, the value of F amounting to 43,100 with the significance level of 0,000, whereas adjusted R2 counting to 0,532. Furthermore, career development indicates as the dominant variable that influences on the quality of work life.Keyword : compensation, career development, and the quality of work life
