Abstract

The millennial era changes social life, one of which is a change in student attitudes towards mother tongue. The purpose of this study is to describe how the language attitude of students in the city of Bandung towards mother tongue in the millennial era with sociolinguistic studies. The method used is descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the language attitude of students in the city of Bandung towards mother tongue in the millennial era is positive and negative. The positive attitude of students is indicated by the use of Sundanese in the family environment and in the public space; students do not experience difficulties when speaking Sundanese and use speech acts; and able to sing Sundanese songs. Negative attitude towards mother tongue is seen from the number of students who cannot mention the Sundanese language wawangsalan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and employee discipline on PT RPJ. The type of research used in this study is explanatory research or explanatory research with a quantitative approach, by testing the correlation coefficient, determination and similar simple regression. Data processing is assisted by using the SPSS version 22 statistical program, and the data collection techniques used in this study are using the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies, with a total sample of 32 respondents, all of whom are employees of PT RPJ. From this study the results show that the work environment has a positive and significant influence on employee work discipline in PT RPJ, amounting to 76.8% and the remaining 23.2% is influenced by other variables not analyzed in this study.

Abstract

This study aim to getting illustration Occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) implementation in order to decrease accident number in PT. Sumi indo, Karawang. in OHSMS implementation, assign (Occupational health and safety) OHS organization as cooperation forum between employers and employees, which is occupational health and safety coaching committee (OHSCC). Observation using method OHSMS audit, getting satisfactory result of OHSMS implementation that is equal to 95.18% advanced level category. This is indicated by the determination of SHE policy and commitment is based of hazard identification and risk assessment, OHS planning, activity implementation, monitoring and evaluation of OHS performance, top management review and continual improvement toward OHS performance improvement. From OHS external audit, Company was implementing 92.17% on advanced category Of this implementation, getting decreasing of accident number from average 10 cases every year to be 2 case in 2017.

Abstract

The value of Javanese Culture in Novel Kartini by Abidah El Khalieqy and the Implications for Learning Appreciation of Indonesian Literature in High School. This study aims to determine the value of Javanese culture contained in Kartini's novel by Abidah El Khalieqy and its implications for literary appreciation learning in high school. Data from this study is the use of the Kartini novel by Abidah El Khalieqy. This research is classified as qualitative research. In this study the objects studied by the authors are: (1) intrinsic elements which include the theme, setting, plot, character and characterization, mandate, point of view and style of language. (2) The value of Javanese culture relates to various Javanese cultures such as literature, language, traditional ceremonies, arts, architecture, culinary, traditional clothing. (3) The dominant Javanese hierarchy emerged which was then analyzed using Javanese cultural theory. The results of the research conducted by the author indicate that many different Javanese cultures are contained in the novel. The emergence of these various cultures is none other because it is influenced by the background used in the novel, namely in Jepara, Central Java.

Abstract

This paper attempts to highlight the meme of fictitious presidential and vice-presidential candidates Nurhadi - Aldo which consists of combining photos or images that are combined with the text. In addition, see how memes operate in political message traffic on Twitter's social media and its relationship with power and the accompanying social conditions. This meme delivered with humor contains criticism of social conditions and it gets attention to the community. This research looks at the discourse presented through memes on Twitter's social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality on satisfaction, the influence of customer satisfaction on loyalty, and the effect of service quality on Sri Lelawangsa Railway service customer loyalty. The sample of this study is 80 people who are Sri Lelawangsa railway transportation service customers. Data that has been collected through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, then processed using the classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the results of this study are (1) there is a positive and significant influence between Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction, (2) there is a positive and significant influence between Service Quality on Customer Loyalty, (3) there is a positive and significant influence between Satisfaction Customers to Sri Lelawangsa Railway Loyalty Customer Service.

Abstract

The research’s aim is to analyze the relationship between the leadership and the supervision toward the discipline of the employees in PT Superex Raya Tangerang. About 700 employees and selected randomly as the population of this research and for amount of 250 respondences as the sample of this research. The researcher used Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS 17) to find out the relationship between the leadership and the supervision toward the discipline of the employees in PT Superex Raya Tangerang. The result of the study shows that there is a significant relationship between the leadership and the supervision toward the discipline of the employees in PT Superex Raya Tangerang. It shows that good leadership and good supervision increase the discipline among the employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of service, and the decision of returning tourists to Pesona Alam Puncak, as well as further analyzing the quality of service to the intention of revisiting tourists to Pesona Alam Puncak. This study uses a cross-sectional method with a type of causal research. The research variables include information about quality, consulting, order taking, hospitality, storage, exclusion, billing, and payment. While the agreed variables are the intention to revisit who has a three-dimensional visit, plan to visit, and want to visit. Obtaining primary and secondary data with data collection techniques through field observations, questionnaires, and literature studies. The population determined is tourists visiting Pesona Alam Puncak in 2017 with a sample of 400 tourists. The results showed the quality of the service of Enchantment of Nature Pucak, specifically the management ability and employees received good responses from tourists. In addition, there are 208 tourists or 52% of tourists have made a return visit to Pesona Alam Puncak. Enchantment of Alam Puncak has extraordinary quality. Recommendation: Improving the quality of service in the form of employee competence Pesona Alam Puncak

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form, meaning, and function of diction and figurative literary language of the journey contained in a collection of poems by A Romantic Journey the Beginning by Desi Anwar. Desi Anwar's method of stylistic assessment of ARJTB used in this study is descriptive-analysis through literature studies. The technique used in this study is by collecting data in the form of documentation, namely from ARJTB poetry by Desi Anwar as the research material object. While the formal object is the diction and figurative literature of travel. The results showed: (1) Studying denotative and connotative diction, the choice of words in my lyrics shows that the contents of ARJTB poetry are not merely channeling factual information but there are convincing goals, persuading, reminding, and insinuating with contextual understanding of a particular culture; (2) The figurative language in ARJTB's poetry hides the true meaning with an image and the poet has tricks to create a richer, more effective, and more suggestive effect in the language of poetry; (3) By Meaning, the ARJTB poem contains a fairly detailed description of the author's experience and perception of a place. I lyrics can give pragmatic information about a place visited and a description of people's culture through the author's perception; (4) The function of travel literature can analogize a story of narration and change one's intellectual attitudes to be wiser and pay attention to the meaning of beauty in every corner of the place (spot) that has been explored

Abstract

This classroom action research was motivated by the students’ low scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science. One of the reasons is the lack of teachers’ ability in choosing appropriate learning model and using of Kit or learning science equipments in natural science learning. Thus, the implementation of Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip to students of class V SDN 20 Kurao Pagang Padang is one of the ways to solve this problem. The objective of this research is to describe the improvement of the students’ scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science at class V at SDN 20 Kurao Pagang Padang by using Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip. The instruments of this research were the observation sheets of students’ scientific process skills and teachers’ activities and the test sheets of students’ cognitive learning outcome. The results showed that there was a significant improvement of students’ scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science class V by using Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip from the first cycle to the second cycle
