JURNAL BADATI diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku. KATA BADATI adalah sebuah nama yang berasal dari kosa-kata bahasa daerah Maluku Tengah, tepatnya masyarakat Ambon dan Lease. Badati, secara singkat, adalah suatu suasana yang tumbuh dan terpelihara bergenerasi dalam keseharian aktivitas bersama secara kekeluargaan di mana setiap orang atau keluarga, baik dalam pendekatan orang per orang, keluarga (baik dalam garis lurus atau menyimpang), atau anak negeri/masyarakat dalam satu negeri/desa, menunjukkan kepeduliannya untuk turut menanggung suatu beban (biasanya secara material) bersama yang sebelumnya tidak bisa ditanggung oleh seseorang atau suatu keluarga. Pilihan nama BADATI mengandung makna filosofi, yakni menunjuk pada upaya untuk mencerdaskan dan memberdayakan orang demi kesejahteraannya (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) melalui pikiran-pikiran dari hasil penelitian kajian teoritik tidak dapat dilakukan secara sendiri-sendiri tanpa bekerja bersama dengan melibatkan pihak lain sebagai sistem sumber (Jejaring). Di dalam prinsip bekerja bersama itu, secara esensial, bertujuan untuk memandirikan orang (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) sebagai subyek dengan menggali dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara bermartabat. BADATI memiliki nomor ISSN 1907-5340 (cetak) diterbitkan secara cetak sejak tahun 2007 dan pada tahun 2019 Jurnal Badati diterbitkan secara online sejak Volume 1 no 1 tahun 2019 dengan no ISSN 2722-3248 (online) oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial & Ilmu Politik sampai sekarang. Dengan tujuan untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian ilmiah dan penelitian dalam bidang ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora. BADATI menerima tulisan berbentuk riset kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dari akademisi, praktisi, peneliti yang relevan dengan topik ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Artikel yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat pada jurnal lainnya. Artikel yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak artikel yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind-review. BADATI terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, April dan November.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic requires people to do work from home, this makes people's activities and mobility decline. Even the existence of community activities with the government's policy of implementing community activities (PPKM) which inhibits fish sellers at the Mardika Ambon market with market conditions that look deserted, people's purchasing power has decreased due to not being allowed to carry out activities involving many people, hampered distribution of materials, and a decrease in the number of people involved. fish prices at the level of fishermen and fish sellers. There is a fish seller strategy that is applied during the pandemic, namely fish sellers practice by recording every income earned and then managing it as needed, offering sales results to consumers at low prices during the pandemic, delivering their wares earlier than the time agreed with the previous consumers. , and provide additional fish to consumers who have bought even those who buy fish in large quantities.                    This study aims to determine and analyze how the role of fish sellers during the COVID-19 pandemic in improving family welfare.      The method used in this paper is a qualitative description method. The role of the fish seller is an effort, effort and hard work that is always done. The active role that fish sellers always play is by making offers and adding fish at standard prices to consumers. Meanwhile, the participatory role is the participation of fish sellers to help others, which is shown between sellers, by dividing the place to sell, and making donations for certain or urgent needs. Meanwhile, there is no passive role, because all buyers and sellers are active in the bargaining process and are not just silent. The results of the research at the Ambon Mardika Market show that the life of fish sellers during the COVID-19 pandemic still survives and the income of fish sellers varies. Before the pandemic they had a bigger advantage than when there was a pandemic. However, no loss.

Abstract

Communication is a process of conveying a message from one person to another to tell about something, with the aim of changing attitudes, opinions and / or behavior. In the science of communication, persuasive communication is known, namely, communication carried out as an invitation or persuasion so that someone who receives the message (communicant) wants to act according to the wishes of the sender of the message (communicator). This study was conducted in relation to smoking habits in the community and the warnings about the dangers of smoking that were conveyed by the government through pictures and writing on each pack of cigarettes. In terms of communication, the government requires all cigarette manufacturers to put pictures and writings on cigarette packs, with the intention that the public is aware of the consequences of smoking that may be experienced by every smoker. The delivery of the message is expected to create public awareness to reduce and/or stop smoking. The problem of cigarettes has become a conversation in all circles of society, which raises the pros and cons of the existence of cigarettes. The development of cigarette consumption in Indonesia is no longer only among adults, but has penetrated into teenagers and even small children. On the basis of the problems mentioned above, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing whether the government's message about the dangers of smoking listed on cigarette packs is effective in changing people's behavior about cigarettes? By using the type of qualitative descriptive research, the researcher tries to describe, summarize, various conditions, and situations, on phenomena and/or social realities that exist in society. From the results of the study conducted, several things were found as follows: First, the public knew about the message about the dangers of smoking which was included on cigarette packs, but apparently the message was not able to influence people not to smoke and/or reduce smoking; Second, smoking has become a lifestyle (life style) and therefore, whatever the reason, it is difficult to expect much from awareness through messages about the effects of smoking on cigarette packs. Therefore, it is suggested that there should be an in-depth study and stricter regulation for someone in buying cigarettes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication of online learning to introverted students in communicating themselves during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. With online learning, introverted students learn using social media such as Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, Whatsapp Group, and others. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of information obtained from interviews with several informants. While secondary data in the form of data obtained from books and other sources. The theory used in this scientific writing research is interpersonal theory, where with this theory we can find out the communication between the communicant and the communicator. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, where the researcher tried to obtain comprehensive information from the informants. Based on the results of the study, the online learning communication experienced by introverted students was considered appropriate. Communication of online learning to introverted AKMRTV students is through online learning media which is desired to get very good results between lecturers and students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interpersonal communication on employee performance. The population used in this study were all 56 employees of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Maluku Province Regional Secretariat. The method of determining the sample is full sampling. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that interpersonal communication in the dimensions of openness, empathy, support, positive feeling and equality had a positive and significant effect on performance, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research is entitled the influence of new learning media on online learning methods at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Indonesian Christian University, Maluku Ambon. The problem of this research is to find out how the influence of new learning media on online learning methods in the Covid-19 pandemic season on FISIP UKIM Ambon. This study aims to find out and analyze how the influence of new learning media on online learning methods in the Covid-19 pandemic season on FISIP UKIM Ambon. This research is important to do considering that the learning process in higher education, especially in the study program is an urgent matter and must be the responsibility of the lecturer to students face-to-face in class. However, given the outbreak of Covid-19, the learning process is carried out through the onine learning method. To find out the research problem about the influence of new learning media on online learning methods in the Covid-19 pandemic season on FISIP UKIM Ambon, and adjusted to the objectives and benefits of the research, this study uses quantitative methods. The results of the study with statistical tests can be explained that, new media of learning with measuring indicators, namely; software, internet networks, google classroom, and zoom meetings have a significant effect on online learning methods. It is based on the t Test which means that the hypothesis is accepted. And based on the Value Determination Test ( r2 ) shows that 21.8% of the influence of online learning methods at FISIP UKIM (Y) is influenced by new learning media (X). While the remaining 78.2% was described or influenced by other indicators not studied in this study. Variable Y with measuring indicator; learning / science delivery strategies, and learning management have a significant effect on variable X so that hypothesis results are accepted.

Abstract

Media has become an increasingly important human communication system in life. Mass communication has a crucial role in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic which has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, namely WHO. As a result of Covid-19 coupled with the use of government mass communication which is less effective, the community becomes a dilemma, which causes people to choose between making a living with the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 or staying at home. In responding to this problem, the Ambon City Government works optimally in providing services to the community as well as using communication in providing information to the public. The purpose of the study, among others, is to determine the role of mass communication in the Ambon City government. This researcher uses a type of qualitative research, namely scientific research that seeks to find detailed data from cases. The results of this study prove that the role of mass communication today is indispensable. The communication carried out by the Ambon City Government task force was apparently carried out verbally and in writing. All of this is mainly related to efforts to invite the public to know and understand a certain problem, such as the current Covid-19 pandemic, which has turned out to be very effective. This is also evidenced by the public's acknowledgment that all information from the Ambon City government is very helpful for the community to understand the condition of the COVID-19

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of the General Election Commission (KPU) of SBT Regency in the regional headelection during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher uses a qualitative research type with the research subject of SBT Regency KPU, HR Division and community participation. The results showed that the communication strategy of the SBT Regency General Election Commission (KPU) in managing the Regional Head Election(PILKADA) during the Covid-19 Pandemic was in accordance with Walter Shewhart's theory, namely: (1) Plan, in terms of planning to manage Pilkada during the Covid-19 pandemic. 19 SBT Regency KPU is regulated by PKPU Number 5 of 2020 and technical implementation is regulated by PKPU Number 6 of 2020, (2) Do, in the Implementationof Pilkada during the Covid-19 pandemic, the SBT Regency KPU is in accordance with PKPU Number 5 of 2020 which all stages of the Pilkada are carried out using the Covid-19 prevention and spread protocol, (3) Check, after designing and implementing it, the thing that needs to be done to know in depth the problems in the field is toevaluate. The SBT Regency KPU in managing and carrying out the Pilkada during the pandemic also encountered problems at the stages of the Pilkada. One of them is the violation of health protocols at the time of registration for candidates for regent and deputy regent. However, the problem is immediately evaluated so that at the next stage the SBT Regency KPU can fix it, (4) Act, after going through the evaluation process then proceed with the follow-up process, in this process it can be in the form of modifying the problem, revising the process or changing policies.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan proses pemindahan dan pertukaran pesan, dimana pesan ini dapat berbentuk fakta, gagasan, perasaan, data atau informasi dari seseorang kepada orang lain. Proses ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mempengaruhi dan/atau mengubah informasi yang dimiliki serta tingkah laku orang yang menerima pesan tersebut Achmad S. Ruky (2003:20) Seiring perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi, banyak media-masa mulai berkembang, pesat, seperti: media penyiaran (boradcasting) radio, radio sebagai media dalam penyampaian informasi kepada khalayak ramai merupakan sarana yang tidak kalah pentingnya dalam masyarakat informasi hari ini. Seiring dengan kemajuan dibidang komunikasi dan informasi, maka diperlukan kreatifitas dan kapasitas yang tinggi dalam mengelola bisnis Radio seperti, manajemen yang baik untuk memperoleh keuntungan dan agar tetap bertahan, profesionalisme yang tinggi dalam mengelola radio telah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Penelitian ini yang gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara mendalam tentang efektifitas perijinan manual ke e-penyiaran, lembaga penyiaran di daerah 3T (Studi LPS Radio Cahaya Manidiri Masohi 96,3 FM). Lokasi penelitian pada Radio Cahaya Mandiri Masohi 96,3 FM Kecamatan Amahai Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Objek penelitian dalam meneliti adalah sebagai berikut; Komisioner KPID Maluku, Pimpinan Studio Radio Cahaya Mandiri, Pj Bidang Keuangan Radio Cahaya Mandiri dan Pj Bidang Usaha Radio Cahaya Mandiri. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dilakukan apabila data empiris yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif berupa kumpulan berwujud kata-kata dan bukan rangkaian angka serta tidak dapat disusun dalam kategori-kategori/struktur klasifikasi. Data bisa saja dikumpulkan dalam aneka macam cara (observasi, wawancara, intisari dokumen, pita rekaman) dan biasanya diproses terlebih dahulu sebelum siap digunakan (melalui pencatatan, pengetikan, penyuntingan, atau alih-tulis), tetapi analisis kualitatif tetap menggunakan kata-kata yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi komunikasi organisasi dalam era kerja hybrid melalui systematic literature review terhadap penelitian-penelitian pasca pandemi. Menggunakan protokol PRISMA, 85 artikel peer-reviewed dari periode 2020-2024 dianalisis secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam praktik komunikasi organisasi, dengan 92% organisasi meningkatkan investasi teknologi komunikasi dan 82% pemimpin memerlukan pengembangan kompetensi baru. Tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi digital fatigue (58%), penurunan kohesi tim, dan kebutuhan akan protokol komunikasi yang lebih efektif. Studi ini menghasilkan framework komprehensif untuk mengoptimalkan komunikasi dalam lingkungan kerja hybrid, mencakup aspek teknologi, kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kesejahteraan karyawan. Temuan penelitian berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori komunikasi organisasi dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi organisasi dalam mengelola transformasi digital komunikasi di era new normal.
