Abstract

During 2017-2019 a few cases of suicide amongst Christian teenagers in the city of Ambon have been linked to the infl uence of “suanggi” that has connotations of being the representation of an evil supernatural power. By using the qualitative research method with a case study approach, the article is focused on the religious reactions of the Christian community in their understanding and rationalization of these two phenomena. Data is collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and personal interviews. All collected qualitative data are analyzed by social hermeneutical analysis. The results of the study have shown that: (1) Social change that occurred amongst the people of Ambon has implications in the shift of traditional order of living values, at the same time clashes between the custodians of cultural traditions and morality (church) have occurred. (2) Within the Ambonese community, religion does not only symbolize certain systems of belief, but also becomes the institution that provides a place for the communal spirit and protects the shared morality through its teachings and the practice of its rituals. (3) The phenomena of suicide amongst teenagers in Ambon, the circulation of information concerning the influence of “suanggi”, and the reactive response of the Christian community reflects the clash between the insistence for social change amongst the urban communities.

Abstract

Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku melakukan langkah maju dengan mendeklarasikan Kawasan Bebas Asap Rokok di Fakultas Kesehatan dan Penerapan Aturan Etika dan Perilaku Mahasiswa Kesehatan. Pembentukan moral tiap mahasiswa menjadi tolak utama untuk dihadirkan di Fakultas Kesehatan UKIM, dengan berjalannya waktu sampai sekarang berdasakan hasil observasi lapangan terdapat beberapa mahasiswa yang kedapatan melanggar aturan etika dan perilaku mahasiswa, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana efektivitas penerapan Kawasan Bebas Asap Rokok dan Aturan Etika dan Perilaku Mahasiswa di Fakultas Kesehatan UKIM,dan  yang menjadi Tujuan Penelitian adalah Mengetahui Sejauh mana efektivitas penerapan Kawasan Bebas Asap Rokok dan Aturan Etika dan Perilaku Mahasiswa di Fakultas Kesehatan UKIM, Bagaimana Respon dan perubahan perilaku Mahasiswa dalam mematuhi Kawasan Bebas Asap Rokok dan aturan Etika dan Perilaku? Abstract

Organizational communication patterns, in this case the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency,as we all know that the communication pattern in the organizational structure is a form of messageexchange interaction between organizational members, both verbal and non-verbal communication. Forthis reason, a form of communication poa between superiors and subordinates and subordinates andsubordinates is needed so that the office work process and task completion can run effectively andefficiently. Formulation of the problem What is the Communication Pattern of Restructuring Governancethat occurs in the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency?Research objectives 1) Knowing the suitability of the organizational restructuring of the regionalapparatus in the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency. 2) To know, and understand theCommunication Patterns of the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency. 3) Communication andCoordination Patterns that arise after the Restructuring.The research method involves: 1) The research site is carried out in the Ambon City Planning andDevelopment Agency. 2) The research approach used a descriptive qualitative approach. 3) The techniqueof collecting data uses observation, documentation, deep interview, library research techniques.The results of the study are in the form of a conclusion that there is a preventive step from the leadershipof the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency in formulating a communication pattern besides thatthe existing organizational restructuring process has put forward the concept of poor, rich-functionstructure so that it can support employee work processes.

Abstract

Enkulturasi atau pembudayaan adalah proses mempelajari dan menysuaikan alam pikiran dan sikap individu dengan sistem norma, adat, dan peraturan-peraturan yang hidup dalam kebudayaannya. Negeri Hutumuri merupakan daerah yang dihuni dan dikuasai oleh masyarakat adat yang memiliki budaya, adat istiadat dan hukum adat yang secara turun temurun dilindungi, dipertahankan dan dipraktekkan dalam interaksi social masyarakat sehari-hari. Masyarakat Negeri Hutumuri memiliki adat istiadat sebagai modal dasar yang tumbuh dan berkembang sepanjang sejarah dan telah memberikan sumbangan yang berarti bagi kelangsungan hidup masyarakat serta pembangunan kampong negeri, kecamatan dan daerah. Dan salah satu pranata adat yang masih dipertahankan adalah lembaga adat (Soa). Soa adalah salah satu pranata penggolongan yang melahirkan negeri. Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of communication consisting of vertical, horizontal and diagonal communication on performance and (2) the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at the Education and Training Agency of Maluku Province. The number of samples is determined based on the Kresjie table, where if the population is 231 people, at an error rate of 10%, the number of samples is 125 people, which is determined by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results showed that (1) vertical, horizontal and diagonal communication together had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Education and Training Agency employees of Maluku Province by 78.9% and (2) horizontal communication was the most dominant variable affecting the performance of the Education and Training Agency employees. Maluku Province is 64.9%.

Marketing and branding are two things that are interconnected with each other. Marketing talks about a product idea, about the distribution system and sales chain, the size of the gross margin, the promotional budget and some of the profits that producers can achieve. Formulation of the problem Based on the description on the background and identification of the problem, then the problem of this research can be formulated is to find out How is UKIM's public relations marketing strategy in branding? Abstract

Komunikasi dalam organisasi mempunyai hubungan yang erat dan saling mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi organisasi terhadap gaya kepemimpinan para pemimpin pada bagian humas. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data model interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikasi organisasi para pemimpin pada Bagian Humas sudah berjalan secara efektif hal ini ditandai dengan banyak pegawai yang menyatakan kepuasan terkait informasi dan pesan yang mereka terima seperti proses penyampaian pesan yang secara kontinyu tidak pilih kasih. Pemimpin yang dipercayakan untuk menyampaikan pesan selalu berada dikantor sehinnga informasi penting dapat disampaikan secara baik, penyampaian pesan maksimal. Kemudian gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan para pemimpin pada bagian humas dapat dikatakan sangat bervariasi seperti gaya kepemimpinan otokratis, gaya kepemimpinan birokratis, gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan gaya kepemimpinan laissez faire tetapi gaya kepemimpinan yang dominan adalah gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang dimana wewenang, pengambilan keputusan, kebijakan tidak dipegang penuh oleh pemimpin, selalu ada kesempatan bagi bawahan untuk memberikan saran, pendapat dan pertimbangan serta komunikasi yang berlangsung dua arah.

Abstract

As PT Telkomsel's CSR Program also has the main commitments, namely: helping the community and providing optimal contributions to the community based on the 5 main pillars that are its CSR mission, namely: (1) building human capital; (2) Maintain social cohesion; (3) Strengthen economic value; (4) Encourage good government; and (5) Protecting the Environment.This is certainly inseparable from the intervention of the Public Relations (PR) department or other departments that carry out PR functions. At PT Telkomsel, PR is under the auspices of the Personnel department. PT Telkomsel Maluku can still "live" in harmony with stakeholders so far and it is almost said that there is no "skewed" news from other communities due to the implementation of CSR. This is the interest of researchers to analyze the function of PR in implementing one of the programs, namely the CSR program in Ambon. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of the General Election Commission (KPU) of SBT Regency in the regional head election during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher uses a qualitative research type with the research subject of SBT Regency KPU, HR Division and community participation. The results showed that the communication strategy of the SBT Regency General Election Commission (KPU) in managing the Regional Head Election (PILKADA) during the Covid-19 Pandemic was in accordance with Walter Shewhart's theory, namely: (1) Plan, in terms of planning to manage Pilkada during the Covid-19 pandemic. 19 SBT Regency KPU is regulated by PKPU Number 5 of 2020 and technical implementation is regulated by PKPU Number 6 of 2020, (2) Do, in the Implementation of Pilkada during the Covid-19 pandemic, the SBT Regency KPU is in accordance with PKPU Number 5 of 2020 which all stages of the Pilkada are carried out using the Covid-19 prevention and spread protocol, (3) Check, after designing and implementing it, the thing that needs to be done to know in depth the problems in the field is to evaluate. The SBT Regency KPU in managing and carrying out the Pilkada during the pandemic also encountered problems at the stages of the Pilkada. One of them is the violation of health protocols at the time of registration for candidates for regent and deputy regent. However, the problem is immediately evaluated so that at the next stage the SBT Regency KPU can fix it, (4) Act, after going through the evaluation process then proceed with the follow-up process, in this process it can be in the form of modifying the problem, revising the process or changing policies.
