Abstract

Dar al-Lughah Wa Dirasat al-Islamiyyah Pamekasan Islamic boarding school is an Arabic language development institutions which applies phonetics learning to students at the first grade. Phonetic learning is important in learning Arabic especially for listening skill. Arabic phonetics and listening skill are an inseparable unity. First graders need to learn phonetics to support their listening skills in learning Arabic. At Dar al-Lughah, this is taught using synthetic-analytical methods (al-thariqah al-tarkibiyyah al-tahliliyyah) as it is considered very effective. The results of observations, interviews, questionnaires and document examination through descriptive qualitative methods show that the use of synthetic-analtical method is very suitable for phonetics subject learning among first graders of Dar al-Lughah. Moreover, several media are used. One of with is schematic drawing of the face (rasm al-takhthithi li al-wajhi). However, some problems arise in the process of phonetics learning, including:1) First graders are not accustomed to recite any sounds of Arabic letters, words or sentences in good and right pronounciation.2) First graders find it difficult to harden the tongue in pronouncing some specific sounds of Arabic letters, especially those which do not exist in Indonesian language, 3) Most of first graders come from schools where they were not used to listen to Arabic letter pronunciation from native speakers.

Abstract

This study discusses the mnemonic method of remembering key words for middle school children. The background of this study is that many students at school find it difficult and less responsive to vocabulary mastery in students. Use this mnemonic method for keywords we apply in the eighth semester in middle school. To determine the effect of using the mnemonic method effectively for success, we apply the eighth semester students in high school. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The use of the mnemonic method for keywords in the eighth semester of middle school. Based on the post-test scores, learning uses the mnemonic method for keywords. Its value is 85.59, as an average. Mastering Arabic vocabulary among students before using the mnemonic method for data-based key words. The pre-test mean score of students' Arabic vocabulary mastery in the experimental semester was 66.07 and the mean score in the control class was 62.18. Abstract

This study aims to explore and determine the quality of test items including the validity and relevance of the Arabic language final exam questions in the form of multiple choice at MTs Halunuk Loksado. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study consisted of two types, the first was primary data sources obtained from interviews. Second, secondary data sources from the documentation. Researchers collected data using structured interview techniques and documentation, then analyzed using Milles and Huberman analysis techniques. The results showed that the final examination items for grade eight of MTs Halunuk Loksado showed a fairly high validity.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe the referential meaning contained in the Arabic comic Nawadhir Juha li al-Athfal, and to explain the referential meaning in the Arabic comic Nawadhir Juha li al-Athfal. The data in this study are in the form of writings that can be extracted from the referential meaning of the Arabic comic Nawadhir Juha li al-Athfal. The data collected in this study used the reading and note technique method with the data analysis technique using the intralingual and extra lingual matching methods. The matching method is followed by the basic technique of Sorting Determining Elements. The theory used is the theory of meaning Ferdinand De Saussure. The results of the analysis in this study are that there are eighteen referential meanings in the comic Nawadhir Juha li al-Athfal.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn, the difficulty of students in understanding the material, and the monotonous and boring learning methods. Therefore, innovative learning methods and media are needed so that the learning process becomes more enjoyable. Then the media can be used as a solution to these problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the mentimeter media in understanding student material. This research is quantitative research with experimental type. The design of this research was the Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design which was carried out at MTsN 9 Bantul by using a random sampling technique. Based on statistical calculations that have been carried out in the experimental class and control class, the significance value is 0.000. Because the sig value 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Thus it can be said that there is a difference in the understanding of the Arabic language material for classes using mentimeter media with classes using conventional media.
