Abstract

The obstacle to learning Mathematics at state Elementary Schools 29 Idai is that students do not understand how to integrate the concepts learned at school with everyday life. This causes students' mathematical problem solving abilities to be very low. The aim of this research is to improve mathematical problem solving abilities through Etno STEM PjBL based on Dayak culture. The research method for this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The research subjects were all sixth grade students. The research instruments used were mathematical problem solving questions, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively. The results of the research show that there is an increase in problem-solving abilities through Dayak culture-based STEM PjBL learning in building materials. In this lesson, students learn mathematics and immediately apply it to life in the Dayak community by making various kinds of products such as traps (fishing tools), capan, and takin.

Abstract

Differentiated learning provides opportunities for students to be able to actualize themselves in a variety of learning outcomes. Teachers can plan learning and guide and provide opportunities for students to process to become the best versions of themselves. Differentiated learning through the use of Belajar.id and Canva can be used as a solution to accommodate students’ learning needs. Differentiated learning gives students the freedom to design and create their own learning outcomes. Students have the initiative to actively participate in making learning bills. This research aims to increase students' digital literacy through the use of Belajar.id and Canva accounts in designing learning outcomes in differentiated learning. This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles starting from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument is an observation sheet to observe teacher learning and students’ digital literacy skills which consist of levels of accessing, understanding, compiling and disseminating information. The research results showed that students’ digital literacy competency increased from 60.60% to 90.90% in cycle II. The implementation of learning which has implications for obtaining these results in cycle I was 85.18% and in cycle II it reached 92.60%. It can be concluded that the use of the Belajar.id and Canva accounts in differentiated learning can improve students’ digital literacy competency in environmental pollution material in class VII-D of SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo.

Abstract

Implementing differentiated learning by utilizing technology is still a problem for teachers. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using hyperdoc media in content differentiated learning by assessing initial learning through learning interest. This media development uses the ADDIE model which is then tested with a media feasibility test and media effectiveness test using the N-Gain Hake formula. The subjects of this research were 35 class 9B students. The research results show that the results of the media effectiveness test reached a score of 69.4 which is in the quite good category. It can be concluded that this differentiated hyperdoc media is effective in increasing students' understanding of tolerance material.

Abstract

The learning that has been practiced by teachers has not paid attention to differences in students' learning styles. The aim of this research is to describe how differentiated learning is implemented to meet the different learning styles of students in the material on the classification of living creatures in class VII A of SMP Negeri 5 Kepil for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research subjects totaling 25 students. The differentiated learning carried out also utilizes Smartphone technology in the form of using the Plant Net application for plant taxonomic identification. The results of the research show that the differentiated learning carried out has accommodated the different learning styles of students, including visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is learning that focuses on the individual differences of learners. Differentiated learning is designed to be effective and learner-centered. The connected model is a learning model to determine the level of thinking ability of students in implementing differentiated learning. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the connected model so that it can be used in the learning process to determine the tingkat of thinking ability of students. Based on the results of the test of the effectiveness of the tingkat of thinking ability on a limited scale trial through the analysis of posttest scores, students experienced changes to reach the prestructural category 4.3%; unistructural 37.2%; multistructural 42.8%; while for relational 14.3%, and extended abstract by 1.4%. The data from the results of the broad-scale trial also showed an increase in the tingkat of thinking of students through the analysis of the posttest scores of students experiencing changes reaching the prestructural category by 10%; unistructural 47.5%; multistructural 35.8%; relational by 6.7%, while in the extended abstract category students did not reach the level of thinking. Based on the results of the study, the connected model can determine the level of thinking ability of junior high school students so that it is effectively used in differentiated learning.

Abstract

Research problems include learning outcomes that are less than the minimum completion criteria (KKM), strengthening the concept of Pancasila values ​​which is still low, and learning that is less active, interactive and enjoyable. The aim of the research is to create active, interactive and fun learning and improve the learning outcomes of class VI students so that they achieve the KKM. Pancasila Ball (BOCA) is a learning prop that contains the values ​​of Pancasila Principles. The learning model uses Team Games Tournament (TGT). The research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with 3 cycles, pre-cycle, cycle-1 and cycle-2. Research techniques use observation, written tests, surveys, and reflection sheets. The research was carried out in class 6B with a total of 29 students (15 boys and 14 girls). Student completion results increased in each cycle, namely, Pre-cycle 1 child (3%), Cycle-1: 8 children (28%), and Cycle-2: 21 children (72%). The results of the research state that the use of BOCA in learning Pancasila Values ​​ ​​material for class VI SDN Panjang 2 can create active, interactive and fun learning and improve student learning outcomes by using Bola Pancasila Media (BOCA) with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model.

Abstract

This school action research aims to improve teachers' abilities in compiling and implementing learning implementation plans (RPP) or teaching modules (MA) for differentiated learning using the 'Sweet Inspiration' media combined with RASA-TIRTA coaching. The subjects of this research were six teachers from different schools. This research was carried out through the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques include interviews, product assessment, observation and discussion. The results of the research show that the average achievement value for the differentiated learning RPP component indicators in cycle II was 91.11%, including the very good category. The average achievement indicator value for implementing lesson plans in class was 88.53%. So, the target for achieving indicator values has been achieved. It can be concluded that the 'Sweet Inspiration' media combined with RASA-TIRTA coaching (a) can improve teachers' abilities in compiling and implementing differentiated RPP learning and (b) makes teachers feel comfortable discussing, learning and sharing during this research process at assisted junior high schools in Tangerang City.

Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic which lasted for almost two years had an impact on reducing student motivation and learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the extent to which the motivation and learning outcomes of class VIIIA students at SMPN 2 Tanjungsari have increased in the 2022/2023 academic year in environmentally based differentiated learning about simple airplanes. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) Kemmis and Targart model with two cycles where one cycle consists of four activities, namely planning - action and observation - reflection. One cycle consists of two face-to-face meetings. The instrument to determine the increase in learning motivation is in the form of an observation sheet on students' activeness in participating in learning and students' seriousness in carrying out assignments. Instruments to determine improvements in learning outcomes are student worksheets and summative tests. The results of this research are an increase in students' learning motivation which is marked by an increase in the number of groups of students working on and collecting assignments by 30% from 50% before learning to 87.5% during learning and an increase in learning outcomes as indicated by an increase in the average test score. summative as much as 16.59% from 44.6 before learning to 52 after learning. The number of students who scored above the KKM increased from 1 student before learning to 7 students after learning.

Abstract

Each student has a different character. Therefore, teachers are required to be able to create learning that can meet students' diverse learning needs. When studying Animal Life Cycles, the teacher used video learning media, but at that time only children with visual and auditory learning styles were able to follow the lesson well, while children with kinesthetic learning styles felt bored and ended up making noise and disturbing other friends. Based on this problem, the teacher finally developed his learning media by creating Wayang Si Dupan media. This development research aims to test the validity and effectiveness of the Wayang Si Dupan media in learning animal life cycles in class 4 at SDN Mangunharjo 7, Probolinggo City. This research uses a 4D model, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. Material expert validation results for Wayang Si Dupan media obtained an average of 87% and validation results from design experts obtained an average of 91%. Students' learning outcomes in the Animal Life Cycle material increased by 78% after they used the Wayang Si Dupan media. This shows that Si Dupan Wayang Media is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Creativity and insight into global diversity are two important aspects of education. Creativity produces new, innovative and unique things in solving problems. Diversity insight refers to a deep understanding and tolerance of various existing cultures. These two aspects are still low, especially for class V students at SDN Lomaer 1. This can be seen from the students’ low understanding of the culture in their region, as well as their lack of motivation to study regional culture. This condition is caused by the absence of media and learning models that are able to accommodate the heterogeneous learning needs of students. Therefore, a solution is needed through the use of Apriori media based on product differentiation. This Aprori research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model design, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data was collected through observation techniques and learning outcomes tests, analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The results of the research show that by using media (1) students' creativity in completing dance property projects in the form of masks increased from 69.3% to 82.5% and (2) students' classical insight into global diversity increased from 84.75% to 95%. It can be concluded that the use of Apriori media based on product differentiation can increase the creativity and insight into global diversity of class V students at SDN Lomaer 1.
