Abstract

Cases of Covid-19 reached Indonesia in March 2020 and have continued to rise since then, albeit positive numbers are now on the fall. The team discovered Covid-19 patients in Watburik Hamlet, Wonorejo Village, based on survey data, necessitating independent preventative actions. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the community, such as posyandu cadres, RT heads, and community leaders, are required to stop the virus from spreading. One of the efforts is to live a healthy lifestyle, keep the house clean, and follow health routines. The booklet media education technique will be used to carry out the Covid-19 preventive education method, which includes counseling on hand washing with six stages, keeping at home, avoiding crowds and community meetings, and wearing masks while sick and in public areas (markets, worship places, etc.), the installation of billboards, and the supply of disinfectants and hand soap. The billboard installation is done in collaboration with members of the community and partners. The outcomes of this activity's evaluation were able to raise public knowledge about the importance of adopting health standards in order to prevent Covid-19.

Abstract

Hypertension is defined as blood pressure with a systolic (TDS) of 140 mm Hg or a diastolic (TDD) of 90 mm Hg. One strategy for preventing hypertension is to check blood pressure once a week and to educate people about herbal plants that can help lower blood pressure. The rise in instances of hypertension in Indonesia is attributable to a lack of public understanding about hypertension screening and treatment. The purpose of this program is to raise public awareness of herbal medicines that can be used to lower blood pressure in Wonolelo Hamlet, Bandongan District, Magelang Regency, as well as promote community skills in developing new herbal preparations to lower blood pressure. The service is provided utilizing the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, which incorporates the community in the entire process. This practice has a good impact on the community, since it increases community knowledge and inventiveness about herbal plants, as well as the use of family medicinal herbs like celery, fruit and tree of mahkota dewa.

Abstract

The Perpustakaan Kambing Community is a group of people who are trying to assist coffee farmers with the farming knowledge and education. This community also maintains the Coffee Lappara brand, which transforms coffee beans into packaged black coffee products. Efforts to enhance the welfare of Lappara coffee producers, however, ran into obstacles as the project progressed. One of the challenges the Perpustakaan Kambing faces is a lack of product branding knowledge, which has resulted in their coffee business failing to grow at all. This service seeks to improve understanding of how to use the seven aspects of branding to lappara coffee products. The technique of implementation is interactive discussion, coaching, and assistance. In the end of the program, partners are able to determine the content of the seven basic parts of branding, including target market, target audience, and brand recruiters, brand name, brand slogan, brand style, and logo design, as a result of this activity.
