Abstract

The movement of nodes in a Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is very dynamic and unpredictable. Each node in this network moves freely at different speeds and directions, which causes continuous changes in the network topology. The movement of nodes affects the communication path between nodes, as connec-tions between nodes are lost or re-established according to the position of the node whether it is still with-in communication range or not. In addition, the movement of nodes also affects the performance of rout-ing protocols used in finding routes, such as AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector). The AODV routing protocol does not take into account the movement of neighboring nodes in finding routes, so the route found can be quickly disconnected because the nodes involved in the route move away, out of range of the communication signal. This research aims to improve the performance of the AODV routing proto-col by considering the movement of nodes in the route finding process using the TimePrediction algorithm. The approach used includes modifications to Hello messages, so that they also include position and ve-locity information of neighboring nodes. Hello messages are packets sent periodically by each node in a MANET network to inform neighboring nodes of its presence. The results show that from a given node speed variation, TimePrediction-AODV routing protocol is able to provide better average throughput im-provement of 8.63% for 20 nodes, 29.10% for 40 nodes, and 60.70% for 60 nodes, better average PDR improvement of 6.06% for 20 nodes, 20.54% for 40 nodes, and 27.50% for 60 nodes, and average end-to-end delay reduction of 31.53% for 20 nodes, 28.86% for 40 nodes, and 43.98% for 60 nodes compared to standard AODV.

Abstract

The distance of nodes when communicating is a major challenge in route finding. The long distance of nodes will consume a lot of energy in the routing process so that the occurrence of failure or disconnection of the routing path becomes a problem that needs to be considered. One of the weaknesses in the AOMDV protocol is that it does not pay attention to node distance and node energy in the routing process. Therefore, this research proposes to modify the standard AOMDV routing protocol by adding the Preserving Energy Optimization Algorithm to identify node selection based on the node's distance to the source node by considering the node's energy in the routing process. The approach used includes modifications to the Hello message, so that the message has a geographic location based on x and y coordinates. The simulation was conducted using NS-2.35 on Linux Ubuntu operating system. The test parameters include energy consumption, end-to-end delay and packet delivery ratio (PDR). The simulation results of applying the PEO-AOMDV algorithm provide significant performance on all tested parameters. In terms of energy consumption, there is a saving of 16.04%. In addition, there is a decrease in average end-to-end delay by 43.08% to an increase in PDR percentage by 15.17% at various node density variations.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis, a branch of Natural Language Processing (NLP), plays a crucial role in identifying and classifying opinions embedded in text. This study aims to compare the performance of hybrid CNN-LSTM and CNN-GRU models in sentiment analysis of user reviews for investment applications on Google Play Store, utilizing the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to address data imbalance. A total of 15,000 user reviews were collected through web scraping, preprocessed using the TF-IDF method and various text cleaning techniques. The CNN-LSTM and CNN-GRU models were evaluated using an 80%-20% train-test split. The evaluation results showed that CNN-GRU outperformed in terms of precision (91.62%), F1 score (90.45%), and overall accuracy (87.60%), while CNN-LSTM excelled in recall (91.08%) for detecting positive reviews. CNN-GRU was deemed more balanced in detecting both positive and negative sentiments, making it a more reliable choice for sentiment analysis requiring uniform performance

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the diseases with the highest mortality rate in the world. There are two types of breast cancer, namely malignant and benign. Identification of the type allows for prevention and appropriate treatment before it spreads to other organs. Therefore, a large amount of breast cancer data classification analysis is needed. Data mining techniques, such as random forest, can be used because they are able to provide accurate predictions with a low error rate. The results of this study indicate that *Random Forest is an effective and accurate method for breast cancer classification with an accuracy of 95% and an AUV-ROC value of 0.99 and a recall of 97% which shows the model's ability to distinguish the two types of breast cancer very well so that it can reduce the risk. The use of the 5-Fold Cross-Validation technique) ensures that the results obtained are stable and do not depend on certain data divisions, thereby increasing the generalization of the model. Experiments on various parameters (n_estimators, max_depth, training data size) show that the best configuration is n_estimators = 100 and max_depth = 10, which provides the optimal balance between accuracy and model complexity. This model can be applied in a **Medical Decision Support System* to assist doctors in *early detection of breast cancer*, thereby increasing the speed and accuracy of diagnosis.

Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang penting untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, namun ketersediaan dan kualitas air seringkali menjadi masalah, terutama di daerah yang bergantung pada tandon air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem kontrol serta monitoring ketinggian dan kekeruhan air tandon berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang ditenagai oleh panel surya. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor Ultrasonic HC SR04 untuk mengukur ketinggian air dan sensor Turbidity untuk mengukur kekeruhan air. Mikrokontroler ESP32 berfungsi sebagai pusat kontrol yang menghubungkan sistem dengan aplikasi Blynk, yang memungkinkan pemantauan dan pengendalian secara real-time. Selain itu, panel surya digunakan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan sistem dengan menyediakan energi terbarukan. Pengujian sistem dilakukan untuk memastikan integrasi antara komponen bekerja dengan baik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor dapat mengukur ketinggian dan kekeruhan air dengan akurat, serta sistem berfungsi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi efektif untuk pemantauan dan pengelolaan air tandon secara otomatis, dengan penghematan energi dan pemantauan yang dapat dilakukan dari jarak jauh. Rencana penelitian selanjutnya adalah meningkatkan akurasi sensor dan mengoptimalkan sistem untuk penggunaan jangka panjang.

Abstract

Ombak Food is one of the micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) that is used as a reference source, and a research place used to build an E-Commerce-based Marketing Information System Application. Ombak Food is an MSME that was established in 2017. Ombak Food originally came from the Sustainable Food House Area (KRPL) program in Bonjeruk Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The Marketing Process running at Ombak Food still uses social media in the form of Instagram, Facebook, and Whatsapp, which is felt to be less than optimal in promoting products, accompanied by minimal access to information about new products owned for consumers to access, and recording incoming orders, is still done manually so that there is a lot of documentation of ordering goods that are input incorrectly and written repeatedly. One alternative that can be done to simplify the marketing and sales process is to use a website-based e-commerce information system that can facilitate Ombak Food in marketing products and the Sales Process Effectively. From the results of using the e-commerce-based information system application, the owner of Ombak Food felt a significant change in the sales process carried out, marked by an increase in the number of purchases made by consumers. The marketing process for new products produced is also easier to market.

Abstract

Digital wallets and banks are available, but many still use safe deposit boxes or piggy banks. This intake of pigs is required by various groups, from children to adults, as a means of saving, home decoration and toys. However, ceramic or plastic pig banks are easy to break, so many people convert to banks for safety. Advances in microcontroller technology have enabled the development of safe and intelligent cash deposit boxes. This microcontroller-based box can use the TCS 3200 color sensor and PIN or password system to protect your money from theft and unauthorized access. According to Syafii Antonio, Islam is recommended for future planning and Islamic emergency savings. A bad economy can lead to crimes such as ice cream pigeon theft, which is rarely safe. Technology integration allows safe deposit boxes to be linked to digital financial solutions, increasing the security and efficiency of cash management.

Abstract

Egg quality inspection before distribution is crucial to ensure edibility and prevent complaints from retailers or distributors. Fadillah Jaya Sumbawa (FJS) Poultry Farm still uses a manual method for this process, which takes a long time and risks data recording errors. This study aims to design a monitoring and control prototype based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to detect egg quality. The system utilizes a light-dependent resistor (LDR) sensor to analyze the intensity of light passing through the eggshell and transmits the data to an IoT platform for easier monitoring. Additionally, a control mechanism is integrated to support the inspection process. The research method follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach using the prototype model. The results indicate that the designed prototype can assist poultry farms in reducing data recording errors and minimizing complaints from retailers or distributors.

Abstract

Broiler chicken farming faces challenges in maintaining optimal air quality and cage temperature, which significantly impacts the health and productivity of the chickens. Unfavorable conditions, such as high or low temperatures and poor air quality, can cause stress in chickens, reduce their appetite, and increase the risk of disease. This study aims to design an automatic temperature and air quality monitoring system for broiler chicken cages based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using dimmer lights and gas sensors. The method used in this research is experimental, which includes hardware and software design, as well as system testing. Based on the tests, the system was proven effective in maintaining cage temperature and air quality for broiler chickens. The light intensity control successfully maintains a comfortable temperature, while the CO2 sensor accurately detects the increase in harmful gases. Additionally, energy efficiency improved due to the automatic dimmer lights. However, the system relies on a stable internet connection and requires periodic calibration of the gas sensor to ensure optimal accuracy.

Abstract

Mesin penetas telur otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penetasan telur ayam kampung dengan mempertahankan kondisi optimal suhu dan kelembaban. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor DHT22 untuk memantau suhu dan kelembaban, modul RTC DS3231 untuk pencatatan waktu, serta motor stepper untuk membalik telur secara otomatis setiap 4 jam sekali. Selain itu, sistem ini dikendalikan dan dipantau secara jarak jauh melalui aplikasi Blynk menggunakan konektivitas Wi-Fi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala dalam penetasan telur secara alami, seperti suhu yang tidak stabil dan perilaku induk ayam yang tidak konsisten dalam mengerami telur. Pengujian dilakukan untuk memastikan keakuratan sensor dan efektivitas sistem pemanas, kipas, serta mekanisme pemutaran telur. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempertahankan suhu dalam kisaran 37°C–40°C dan kelembaban 50%–60% RH, sehingga meningkatkan keberhasilan penetasan dibandingkan metode konvensional. Dengan hasil yang diperoleh, mesin penetas telur otomatis berbasis ESP32 ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif bagi peternak kecil dan menengah dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi penetasan telur.
