Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that is experiencing multiple nutritional problems. The dual nutritional problem currently facingIndonesia is the occurrence of malnutrition problems that have not been resolved and at the same time, there is a problem of overnutrition. The habits of today's society tend to be passive or known with a sedentary life pattern. This is due to a lack of physicalactivity undertaken so that a person's nutritional status can change. Along with changes in the nutritional status of the communitydue to lack of physical activity performed. Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where a person's blood pressure is at above 140/90 mmHg and is a major factor for the occurrence of stroke, disease heart, kidney, and peripheral circulation problems. This hypertension disease must receive appropriate and safe treatment, the handling can be pharmacological and nonpharmacological. Pharmacological handling is the consumption of drugs while non-pharmacologically one of them is exercise (ergonomic exercise), ergonomic exercise resembles prayer movements so that it is easier to apply in life. daily and its movements are by the rules for creating the body which is inspired by the prayer movements so that it is easy for someone to do this gymnastic movement. Ergonomic exercise is good for body health because this exercise can open, clean, and activate systems in the body such as cardiovascular, urinary, and reproductive. Gymnastics can relax blood vessels. Gradually exercise ergonomics will relax blood vessels, resulting in blood pressure will decrease.

Abstract

Backgorund: The majority of research on the coronavirus pandemic has focused on the clinical manifestations of the COVID-19 infection. However, other facets of the pandemic's health, most notably the psychosomatic, receive less attention. The purpose of this study was to assess the validity and reliability of a psychosomatic questionnaire developed specifically for screening psychosomatic symptoms during the Covid-19 era. Method and Material: The present study is a cross-sectional study designed to establish a baseline for future research. The data collection instrument for this study is an online survey powered by Google Forms. The population of this study is entirely composed of productive groups. The variables in this study were a Likert scale-based psychosomatic symptom questionnaire and laboratory test results indicating the presence or absence of Covid-19. Prior to conducting sensitivity, specificity, and external validation tests on a questionnaire, it is necessary to ascertain its feasibility for use. The internal validity test is analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment method, with valid questions defined as those with a correlation coefficient rho (r) greater than 0.3. When the Cronbach coefficient is less than 0.6, the reliability test is analyzed using the Cronbach test method. This is a pilot study that will be followed by the next phase of research. Results: 37 respondents met the inclusion criteria. The Pearson Product Moment or Pearson Correlation tests revealed that the rho (r) value for all questions was greater than 0.3. The Cronbach's alpha value for reliability is 0.940. Finally, The Psychosomatic Questionnaire developed during the Covid-19 era established its validity and reliability. External validation is necessary for improved validation.

Abstract

Background: Neurodermatitis is a chronic condition with a high recurrence rate. It is critical to avoid repetitive scratching. As topical treatments for neurodermatitis: topical steroids, intralesional steroids, keratolytic agents, and many more are all available. Menthol, camphora, and Liquor Carbonis Detergent can be used in conjunction with topical steroids to enhance their therapeutic effect. The purpose of this journal is to compare the therapeutic efficacy of combination drugs containing 0.05% clobetasol, 3% liquor carbonis detergent, and 2% salicylic acid to standard therapy for neurodermatitis. Method: This study compares the efficacy of a new treatment therapy utilizing a combination of 0.05 percent Clobetasol, 3% liquor carbonis detergent, and 2% salicylic acid to standard therapy, specifically 0.05 percent Clobetasol. This is a retrospective cohort study conducted at the Indra Clinic. The samples for this study were all cases of neurodermatitis of the skin diagnosed at Indra's clinic between 2016 and 2017. The study's independent variable was the formulation of the drug, while the dependent variable was clinical improvement and the occurrence of side effects. Results: The cure rate for the 126 respondents who received the combination formulation was 88,9%, compared to 77,5%for the 111 respondents who received standard therapy containing 0.05 percent Clobetasol (p : 0,029). Conclusion: The innovative therapy of a 0.05% clobetasol mixture with 3% liquor carbonis detergent and 2% salicylic acid has been shown to improve clinical outcomes in patients with neurodermatitis more than the 0.05% clobetasol standard therapy.

Abstract

Scabies is still a health problem in Indonesia. The use of scabies drugs (scabicides) are generally made from synthetic chemical compounds. The effect of administration of chemical synthetic compounds is the resistance of mites to drugs. Basil leaves can be an alternative to scabicides because they contain essential oils with active ingredients such as eugenol, cineol and flavonoids. The purpose of this article is to review the potency of basil leaf extract and other herbal plants as a scabicide. The conclusion of this review is that Ocimum sanctum, Piper betle, Gliricidia sepium, and Azadirachta indica can be used as acaricide in the treatment of scabies in mammals.
