Abstract

Beef is one of the people basic needs. Its availability and price stabilization have to be maintained. Currently the demand for beef is increasing throughout the year, especially during national religious holidays The increase in beef demand is not matched by the adequate supply, so the stable price of beef is at a high level. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect beef prices in terms of demand and supply. The explanatory variables in the equation of demand for beef is the price of beef, the price of chicken meat, the price of eggs, the prices of fish meat, income per capita and the dummy economic crisis. In the beef supply equation, the explanatory variables used are populations of beef cattle, feeder cattle imports, imports of beef and dummy economic crisis. The method used is the two stage least square (2SLS) as a model of demand and supply is the simultaneous equations. The results of this study indicate that beef demand is significantly affected by the price of fish as substitutes, income per capita and economic crisis. The price of beef and chicken meat did not significantly affect the demand for beef. Beef supply is influenced by the price of beef, feeder cattle imports, beef imports and the economic crisis. Beef cattle population did not significantly affect beef supply. Changes in demand for beef is responsive to changes in the price of beef, but is not responsive to changes in beef supply.

Abstract

The capital market is one of investment alternative that able to yield optimal advantage for investor. This is very important to be made in consideration in compiling strategy and decision making of investment in capital market. The objectives of this research to analyze Stock Return, Trading Volume, and BI Rate in Stock of Mining Sector This research using time series data from BEI and Indonesian Bank. Population in this research is the mining sector in Indonesia during the observation period January 2007 until December 2015. Totality of the sample which has been used in this study was 108 samples (period January 2007 until December 2015 which consists of 52 issuers.The research method is by using descriptive analysis, stationary test, VAR analysis, Granger causality test, Impulse response anlysis, and variance decomposition analysis. Hypothesis test (t-statistic test, F-statistics test, and coefficient of determination test (R2)). The result of this research shows that Stock return(-1)& Stock return(-2) variable has a positive and significant to Trading volume, Trading volume(-1)& Trading volume(-2) variable has a negative and not significant to stock return, BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to stock return, BI Rate variable has a negative and significant to Trading volume.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, environmental adaptability, creativity and innovation on competitive advantage to improve business performance. The formulation of the problem is how to create a competitive advantage to Improve business performance. Selected population in this study is the metal industry small and medium scale in District Ceper, Klaten regency totaling 295 industries. In general conclusions from the results of testing the model is applied to the metal industry small and medium scale in District Ceper, Klaten regency showed that competitive advantage can be achieved through entrepreneurial orientation, adaptability environment, creativity and innovation, where the competitive advantage resulting company can improve business performance. In addition to a competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation and creativity innovation can improve business performance. This study provides some of the limitations of the study and future research agenda that can be done in advanced research.

Abstract

This research test to influence the competence and psychological capital of performance with OCB mediation by officers of the BPS the Central Java Province.Hypothesis testing of this research use result of multiple linear regression analysis.The research is done by BPS Kendal Regency, Demak Regency, Semarang Regency and Salatiga City. From the beginning, Sample is used in this research 124 officers, but the questionnaire can be analyzed is turned 114. Base on the result of hypothesis test can be concluded. The first, positively influential competence and significance of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).The second, Psychological Capital influence by positive way and significance of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The third, the performance is not influenced by significant competence. The fourth, the performance is influenced by positive way and significance of Psychological Capital. And the last, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB influence to positive way and significance of performance. In this mediation, the result is OCB variable mediate perfectly (full mediated) the influence competence to performance, but the influence of variable capital psychology on performance in another side more effective directly is not through the OCB.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of exchange rate, interest rates, and inflation simoultaneously and partially affect on CSPI. The method of analysis used in this study is the method of multiple linear regression analyzes were used with SPSS 16. The research used data monthly of Januari 2010 to December 2015 with 72 sample of data time series for each independent and dependent variabel. Data obtained from the Monthly Statistic, Indonesia Stock Exchange and Indonesian Financial Statistics of Bank Indonesia. Simoultan analysis show variable exchange rate , interest rates and inflation significanthly negative affect on Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI). Partial analysis shows exchange rate affect positive on CSPI, interest rate affect negative on CSPI and inflation does not affect on CSPI.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of tax socialization, fiscus service, and tax penalty on tax payers’ compliance at Kelurahan Tegalsari Candisari. The sample for this study were 90 tax payers. The analysis instrument used was by multiple linier regression. The result showed that tax socialization had no effect on personal tax payers’ compliance, while fiscus service had positive significant effect on personal tax payers’ compliance and tax penalty had positive significant effect on personal tax payers’ compliance.

Abstract

This research have a purpose (1) to analyze the influence of physical working ebnvironment depend on bank employee perfomance BPR “Rural Bank” in madiun city (2) to analyze the influence of job discipline depend on the bank employee performance BPR “Rural Bank” in madiun city (3) to analyze the influence of physical working environment and job discipline depend on the bank employee performance BPR”Rural Bank” in Madiun city. The kind of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The sample of this research is the bank employee of BPR”Rural Bank” in Madiun city number in 50 bank employee with sampling technique using purposive sampling. The data collected using quistionary. The data that the researcher get to be analyze using multiple regresion analyze, Simultaneous (F-test) and Partial(t-test). The result on the research show that the physical environment and job discipline in simultaneous give significant influence depend on bank employee BPR”Rural Bank” in madiun city with significant score 0,000 (p<0.05). This score show that the physical working environment in partial does not giving significant influence depend on the bank employee performance BPR”Rural bank” in madiun city. In line the result of test partial also not give an effect to the bank employee perfomance BPR”Rural bank” in Madiun city. The t-test show the score 0,116 on the other hand. The job discipline bank employee BPR”Rural bank” in Madiun city, show the score with score significant t-test 0,000.

Abstract

The influence of the leadership, work environment and motivation to employee performance Bankaltim Main Branch Samarinda. Employees are the main force to achieve its goals. So companies need employees who have the ability and expertise both to achieve the company’s goals. As a logical consequence of these demands, this research led him to learn how to improve employee performance through leadership, work environment, and work motivation. The purpose of this study to prove and explain the influence of leadership, work environment and work motivation on employee performance Bankalrim Main Branch Samarinda. The study population was all employees at the Main Branch Bankaltim Samarinda amounted to 242 people. Samples taken in this study is the number of employees 151 people, sample calculations performed using the formula Slovin with an error tolerance level of 5%. Collect data through questionnaires using Likert scala with statistical analysis using multiple linier regression analysis. The result showed that : 1. Leadership significant effect on employee performance, 2. Work environment a significant effect on the performance of employees, 3. Motivation significant influence on employee performance, 4. Leadership, work environment and work motivation significant effect on the performance of employees.

Abstract

Servqual model is a populer model of banking sevice and until now is used as a reference in marketing research. Servqual is an instrument to asses the service qualitry developed by Parasurahman, Zethamil, and berry in a series of their research to the service sector. This model is olso known as Gap Model or discrepancy between the customer expectation and reality (performance) of the received service this model is closely related with the customer satisfacton. In servqual model, the service quality is defined as the assestment or global attitude regarding the superiority of a service (Parasuraman, et al, 1985) All parties who buy and consume the banking service will give different assesment to the service quality, it is because of the banking service has the everchanging characteristic, Furthermore, Parasurahman et al (1993) found that the principal dimensions that define the servqual model are as follow (1) Physical evidence that is the appearance and physical facilities, transaction equipment and comunication media. (2) Reliability is the ability to provide the promise service immediately or timely, accurate and satisfaction. (3) Responsiveness is the willingness of the service provider to help customers and provide service responsively. (4) Assurance is the guarantees given to the cistomers include the willingness, courtesy and the trustworthy attitude of the employees. (5) Empathy is the concern of service providers in the form of attention to the needs and desires of customers.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of budgeting participation on performance of Government Institutions with organizational commitment as a moderating variable. The population in this study were civil servants of Electoral Commission of Central Java and Semarang City amounted to 51 people. The samples in this study were employees who participated in the budget amounted to 40 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The technique of primary data collection was conducted by spreading the questionnaire to the Electoral Commission of Central Java and Semarang City. The results of this study were (1) the participation of budgeting had positive influence on performance of government institutions (2) organizational commitment didn’t empower the influence of budgeting participation on performance of government institutions.
