Palmyra Fiber as Additional Materials on Solid Concrete Brick of Aggregate
ISSN : 20399340     EISSN : 20392117     DOI : 10.36941/mjss
The use of waste as an additional material on the building work was increasingly actively developed, such as straw, styrofoam, bagasse, cow manure. The key drivers of the use of waste is the potential for waste is increasing, due to the depletion of non-renewable resources. Papyrus rod diameter 60 cm, length 30 meters, has a volume of 5,652m3 as well as the edges of the Rods that can be used for construction with a thickness of 3 cm has a volume 0,942m3, Pith and fiber volume content of the stem 4,71m3/rod, then in one rod, there are 2 to 3 bunches each fruit bunches yield as much as 20 to 30 items for one harvest, by weight of fruit fiber 101.2 gram / fruit, Fiber characteristics are round and smooth is expected to reduce cracks in solid concrete brick and also can reduce the use of sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of the composition of the additional material of Rods fiber content and Fiber of palmyra fruit with a percentage 3%, 6% and 9%, mixing ratio; 1 cement and 5 sand in the manufacture of solid concrete brick. Rods fiber content used the average Ø1,031mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 39,305N / cm and fruit fiber to an average value Ø0,40mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 33,691N / cm. Making test specimen with a length of 20cm, width 10cm and thick 8cm. The test results of compressive strength after 14 days with the lowest value at 3% of additional material combination of fiber content of 6% fiber stem and fruit by 70,384Kg/cm²with a water content of 15,254% In weight position 2,935Kg as well as the highest value on the combination of additional material 0% rods fiber content and 3% fruit fiber by 98,821Kg/cm² with a water content of 15,031% In weight position 3,058Kg. While N (without additional material) with a compressive strength below the average id 63,704Kg/cm2 with water content of 10,167 in weight position 3,072Kg. Research result of solid concrete brick with additional material of rods fiber content and palmyra fruit fiber was included on the type B70, the average value of the compressive strength of 78.57 Kg / cm² (SNI-03-1348-1989) with a water content of <25%.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship is one of the emerging management concepts that are being emphasized for its uniqueconstitution. Organizations strive to establish organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among their employees for attainingexceptionally motivated workforce. The purpose of this paper was to explore Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and itsimportance in recent times. It elaborates the extent to which five core job characteristics of Job Characteristic Model (JCM) leadto organizational citizenship and its impact of employee engagement and commitment on OCB. Qualitative research design hasbeen adopted where extensive literature resources have been elaborated in order to understand the relationship. Researchershave presented a detailed model explaining Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and its critical link with JCM and withemployee commitment and job engagement. Findings reveal that four dimensions (task variety, task identity, task significanceand task autonomy) Job Characteristic Model (JCM), and employee engagement produces positive impact on OCB. However, the impact of employee commitment on OCB is not yet obvious.

Abstract

Bodily communication affects the relationship and exchanges between people and encourages cooperation throughoutsigns, symbols, facial expression, spaces and distances. It has psychology, social and cultural aspects and the fundamentalsare: context, sender, receiver, channel and code in a logical and analog form of manifestation. Volleyball is very fast sports gamebecause of the compulsory rule of rejected touch of the ball and the little dimension of the game court and in this case the bodilycommunication could be an important phenomenon. The scientific literature survey does not found any evidence about appliedstudy on both sports and bodily communication skills, thus could be useful to investigate by integrated vision. The purpose is toverify if any technical skills of the attack of volleyball may be influenced by bodily communication. The method is theoreticalargumentative,in one hand, and experimental, in the other one, by using performance analysis methodology and analyst team. This approach is innovative and complex and could be a partial solution to quantitative and qualitative question in evaluationprocess of any sports. The result categorizes the bodily communication in functional, diagnostic and tactics mode and thepercentage is over ¼ of all outcomes and it has divided in three technical skills.Discussion is based by studies of the perceptionand action, human movement, motor control and learning, anticipation skills of motor imagery. Its development is desirable toenlarge the knowledge on these filed. Its development is desirable to enlarge the knowledge on the field of human sciences.

Abstract

This comparative review analyzes two top-down approaches of public policy, the approach of Eugene Bardach, representative of the classical side, and the approach of John Kingdon, representative the modern side. By this review, readersare going to identify and evaluate the similarities, differences and the ethics of the perspectives. This analysis shows theidentical differences about “how ideas become policy.” This comparative review also shows the different aspects of the two topdownapproaches, so it can be also seen as a comparison of two top-down approaches of the public policy

Abstract

The general intent of this descriptive study was to document the general job satisfaction of the head teachers workingin government elementary schools in context of their school location and size as measured by the Minnesota SatisfactionQuestionnaire (MSQ). Therefore, survey design was used to obtain needed information. The teachers of all categories who wereworking as head teachers in government elementary schools at district Toba Tek Singh (in any area, i.e., rural or urban) in thePunjab, Pakistan (except the sampled for pilot study), were asked to fill the questionnaire. The Urdu version of the modifiedMinnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) was used as a research tool in this study. It was concluded that the head teachersworking in government elementary schools at district Toba Tek Singh in the Punjab, Pakistan were found generally satisfied withtheir positions regardless of their school location and size. The head teachers working in urban areas were found significantlymore satisfied than the head teachers of rural areas, and no significant differences were found among the job satisfaction levelsof the head teachers working in smaller and larger schools. On the basis of the responses to the MSQ, it appears thatelementary school head teachers (Toba Tek Singh) in the Punjab, Pakistan were satisfied with their jobs. Policy makers andother concerned authorities should put forth effort to either maintain this level of satisfaction or increase it to a higher level. Thismay be done by increasing satisfaction for different aspects of job; Compensation, Working Conditions, Social Status, andSchool System Policies and Practices. There is need to improve the job satisfaction level of the government elementary schoolhead teachers working in rural areas of district Toba Tek Singh. This can be done while providing them some special facilities, incentives, and allowances, like better working conditions and transport or travelling allowance etc. Study on satisfaction andschool location should be conducted to investigate the reason why job satisfaction increases with urban schools and studies onsatisfaction to investigate more predictors to job satisfaction should be conducted.

Abstract

In this article, consider optimal decision making in two-alternative forced-choice. The paper research consist byanalyzing the mathematical models of TAFC decision making and show that all but one can be reduced to the drift diffusionmodel, implementing the statistically optimal algorithm (most accurate for a given speed or fastest for a given accuracy). Thepaper research prove further that there is always an optimal trade-off between speed and accuracy that maximizes variousreward functions, including reward rate (percentage of correct responses per unit time), as well as several other objectivefunctions, including ones weighted for accuracy. These findings address empirical data and make novel predictions aboutperformance under optimality. This literature review of decision making (how people make choices among desirablealternatives), culled from the disciplines of psychology, economics, and mathematics, covers the theory of riskless choices, theapplication of the theory of riskless choices to welfare economics, the theory of risky choices, transitivity of choices, and thetheory of games and statistical decision functions. [1] [2] [3] In this paper we are trying to adopt the concrete data of ITC in Vloraregion for touristic promoting. The theories surveyed assume rational behavior: individuals have transitive preferences. Thereare two points of hypothesis in this study: 1.The GTCA (Game theory and competitive analyse) theory and it apply in Albaniancondition for promoting the tourism.2. MMDM (Mathematics Models and Decision Making) theory and apply in developing theconditions for promoting the reforming in Albania. Game theory, a discipline that was given its modern form by themathematician John von Neumann, models markets in which the actions of competing parties influence one another while eachacts in its own self interest.

Abstract

This paper examines the phenomenon of unemployment and persistent poverty in Nigeria with special reference tothe Niger Delta region. Having diagnosed the episode of unemployment and poverty in the region, the paper unfolds thatunemployment and poverty have devastating effect on individuals, society and economy at large. This paper identifies that oneof the core causes of poverty in the Niger Delta today is the inability of many job seekers to secure gainful employment. It alsoreveals the increasing level of poverty which has conditioned many people to a very low and undignified standard of living in theregion. The paper identifies unemployment and poverty as impacting negatively on the lives of the people and sustainabledevelopment programmes in the region. Economic growth, which is supposed to be a solution to the problem of unemploymentand poverty, appears not to be in this region. In view of this, the paper recommends that the government and all stake-holdersmust work together to get over the hurdles of unemployment and poverty and create more poverty alleviation programmes inorder to promote maximum investment and employment opportunity to the rural dwellers for sustainable development at the ruralsetting.
