Abstract

This study discusses parental education in disciplining children in Hebrews 12:5-11. There are errors in parenting patterns in disciplining children, causing acts of violence in the family, and this has a bad impact on children which is reflected in bad and difficult child behavior. Parents must understand the how to discipline their children properly and correctly based on the truth of God's Word. This study uses a qualitative method, especially a literature study approach, which is to collect data for analysis and is assisted by exposition approach to find the meaning in Hebrews 12:5-11. The results of the study revealed that the act of educating children is evidence of parental love, so parents must warn their children. If in disciplining children, there is an action to punish the child, then it is intended to bring good to the child; thus discipline is not to hurt but to give peace. The concept of education in the form of discipline, punishment, and instruction is aimed at shaping children's character for the better. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find the best way to discipline children, especially through the study of the interpretation of Hebrews 12:5-11.

Abstract

The command to educate children is a direct command from God that cannot be ignored. Parents need to realize that the development of children's behavior should be a concern of parents. Parents are responsible as first and foremost educators in the family.Character education is one of the important things in shaping, building and developing children's character. Character education for children starts from the family. The family is the first and foremost institution for laying the foundation of character to children. It is from the family that children first learn about Christian values. The family is the first place where children get teachings and role models about good character. Good character education obtained in the family will bring each child to an understanding of the true self-image. The mistake about self-image will lead child to be inferior, hopeless, feeling useless and unconcerned or other negative feelings. If a child has the correct self-image in a charismatic perspective, the child will understand that his life is extraordinary created in the image and likeness of God, as a person created specifically by God, as a creation that is guarded and guided.Methods The type of research in this paper is library research with a qualitative approach to literature (library research), using descriptive methods which aims to reveal and the relationship between the level of education and parenting patterns in the formation of children's character. The results of this study are that there is an influence between the level of education and parenting patterns in the formation of children's character.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the disciplinary principle of the Lord Jesus is based on Mark 8:33 and its application. The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of case study. The results of the research are that the principle of discipline includes the respondent's understanding of the meaning and importance of discipline for positive things. The purpose of discipline is the reason for regular work in the office and the lack of violations that occur. The principle of discipline carried out by the Lord Jesus is the reason for doing work in the office.

Abstract

Mission discipleship aims to mature the disciples of Christ. One of the signs of maturity is bearing fruit. This study aims to find an online discipleship model based on Ephesians 4:1-16 in the preaching of the Good News conducted by LPMI Semarang. The results of this study are the first to be faithful in giving advice. Second, find the spiritual gifts of each disciple. Third, direct the spiritual gifts of students to carry out Preaching the Good News. Fourth, it provides an understanding that each body of Christ has its own duties and functions.

Abstract

AbstractThe use of the Sibelius software media in the music theory course in the music study program at the Christ Alpha Omega Theology High School. From the research that researchers have done, it was found that the method of teaching learning boldly for music theory courses through the Sibelius software is very effective in providing understanding to students, because through this Sibelius media or software students can experience directly auditively and visually so that the presentation of theoretical lecture material music can be understood by students.

Abstract

This study focuses on researching and formulating material on servant leadership in the pastoral letter which is the key to success in leading the pastor of the congregation. The method used is a qualitative method. Based on studies conducted by researchers. The material ideas found through the exposition of the three letters are divided into four broad outlines, namely, material on the spiritual growth of leaders, material on servant leaders' attitudes, congregational teaching skills, and pastoral managerial abilities.
