Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide assistance in learning English about pronunciation of vocabulary using Audio Visual and providing knowledge about the use of Audio Visual media for teachers and learning for students. The chosen partners in this service are children an teachers of Raudhatul Atfal (RA) Dharma Wanita eersatuan Simpang, Buay Pemaca, OKU Selatan, with the consideration that they rarely learn English because there is no English teacher in the RA in using learning methods. In addition, based on observations in the RA, it shows that children's lack of interest in learning English and even English for them is too ordinary / foreign. The target in this service is to help the children of RA Dharma Wanita Persatuan Simpang to learn English so that they do not feel unfamiliar / unfamiliar and increase student motivation in learning English and minimize errors in speaking vocabulary in English. From the results of this service activity, it can be concluded that learning English by utilizing audio-visual media in students of RA Dharma Wanita Persatuan Simpang is proven to contribute significantly to the mastery of the English vocabulary of students.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence against children is currently rampant and there has been no further handling of the trauma experienced by the victims, which in turn will affect the children’s behavior to become unsure and become more closed to the surrounding environment, so this activity is carried out to help victims to overcome their trauma so it will not leave negative impacts on their future. The team carried out several methods starting from sharing to find out about how far their knowledge of violence and experiences of violence they had experienced, then continued with the provision of material about verbal and nonverbal violence to children, then the team conducted evaluations to ensure the children understand the material that has been given. The result is that children begin to understand further about various kinds of verbal and nonverbal violence. In addition, children who are initially unsure and closed become more confident in public and more open to their surroundings.

Abstract

The existence of the activities for teachers is based on the rapid development of technology and communication so as to also require changes in the pattern of learning and blowing related to the ability to think. Learning involving high-level thinking (HOTS) is indispensable in the era of the 4.0 industrial Revolution and the future because of the evolving science, relentless changes and tougher life competition. Therefore educators should strive for how students can be flexible in adapting to the changes. In the implementation of this activity use lecture methods, discussions and FAQs and practice. The material presented in its activities is material about the HOTS learning and assessment. After the activities carried out some of the benefits that are obtained namely: 1) In general participants who attended very enthusiastic about the material that delivered, 2) and feel the new knowledge related to learning and assessment of HOTS-based.

Abstract

The importance of learning objectives requires the use of appropriate media so that learning runs effectively and efficiently. The learning media is very important in supporting the learning process and is often overlooked by teachers for various reasons, including limited time, difficulty finding the right media, and also limited funds. With a variety of IT-based and service devices, lecturers and students can access them online and there are applications that make it free for users. Among them are blog users as learning media. This community service activity aims to introduce information and communication technology in the form of Web-Blogs that will later help students who will be prepared to become teacher candidates to modify learning media. The implementation of community service in general can be categorized as successful in terms of participant participation. Participants felt that this dedication activity was very useful for developing web-blog-based learning media that they would use in later learning. The participants' responses to the service activities carried out stated that from the quality of the speakers, the quality of the modules was very good.

Abstract

This program aimed to know English learning with AKSI (Active, Creative, Relaxed and Innovative) in TK / PAUD SS Melati Jaya, BP. Raja OKU Timur. Based on the results of the teaching process in this program, it can be seen that the English learning of children with AKSI (Active, Creative, Relaxed and Innovative), through 5 method: Teaching Methods with Bilingual / bilingual concepts (English & Indonesian), 2) Student Oriented Teaching Methods, 3) Learning by Playing Teaching Methods, 4) Life Skills Teaching Methods, and 5) Fun & Easy Teaching Methods. The results of this program show that (1) The use of AKSI (Active, creative, Relaxed and Innovative) through 5 methods used in English learning can increase student motivation according to their character at an early age, (2) The application of methods found new ideas that learning that implemented with the use of learning media or teaching aids that support the achievement of learning goals and is carried out continuously and makes students not bored and very pleasant.

Abstract

Computer accounting is one of the subjects that is an important part of the connection with the industrial revolution 4.0. The development of this era requires teachers and students to be able to carry out learning processes that is oriented to technology that is adapted to the industrial world environment as a target of students' self-development. The perceived benefit of understanding MYOB Accounting is that we can automate bookkeeping in a complete, detailed, and accurate manner. MYOB is easy to understand and learn. Likewise with the functions it has, the explanation is very clear. The field of accounting activities in the current era is developing in the process and implementation. The importance of the skills is possessed by students in preparing for the Competency Examination and preparing for the world of work, this is a reason for the need for appropriate and appropriate learning to hone the abilities of students.

Abstract

The main problem of a family that is always there is usually about finance. Could be due to lack of money, excess money, or because of confusion about how to manage money for people whose income is mediocre, while the needs always exceed income. But the mouth of it all, the key word is how to manage family or personal finances with smart, careful and the best. Managing finance is the main key in achieving financial success. Especially with the increasing cost of living in today's era requires us to be smarter in managing finances so as not to get into debt. Therefore, we must manage family finances so that expenses are not greater than income.
