Abstract

This research aims to study the presence or absence between the awarding and encouragement of mathematics learning outcomes for grade IV students of SDUT Bumi Kartini Mulyoharjo Jepara and increasing the contribution of providing assistance and punishment to the learning outcomes. The method used is ex post facto research. The sample of this student Yunani class IV students who were 26 students. The sampling technique used is nonprobabbility sampling with purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Research result data shows that there is a significant influence between reward and punishment on mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students. Because t arithmetic 3.167> t table 2.060 and with a significance test known significance value of 0.004 <0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an influence between reward and punishment variables on students' mathematics learning outcomes.The coefficient number of determination (R Square) 0.304 is defined that reward and punishment can influence to student learning outcome 30.4% and the rest is 69.6% influenced by other unlisted variables.

Abstract

Improving teacher performance is one of the ways that can be taken in an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools. This research aims to test the activities of academic supervision with individual guidance in improving the performance of grade v elementary school teachers in the advanced group of Sunan Prawoto Sukolilo Pati in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted using an action research design that was designed through two cycles through procedures: (1) planning (planning), (2) implementing action (action), (3) observation (observation), (4) reflection (reflection) in each cycle. The results of this study indicate an increase in teacher performance starting early before the action by 59.20% (medium category), after the first cycle action to be 72.22% (high category), and after the second cycle action increased again to 81.97% (category high). Based on the results of the action research above, it can be concluded that Academic supervision through individual guidance conducted by the School Principal to class V teachers can improve the performance of class teachers in the State Elementary School in Sunan Prawoto Cluster, Sukolilo District, Pati District in the management of learning both aspects of learning planning, learning implementation and teacher's ability in learning.

Abstract

Era digital semakin menguasai dunia tak terkecuali Indonesia. Pada masa inilah rawan terjadi pemerosotan moral pada generasi bangsa. Untuk menyeimbangkan antara tuntutan zaman era milenial dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional maka pendidikan karakter merupakan hal yang perlu menjadi sorotan utama di Indonesia. Namun pada kenyataannya, pendidikan karakter dirasa belum mencapai hasil yang maksimal dalam penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu cara yang efektif adalah dengan Optimalisasi Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Kearifan Lokal sebagai upaya Implementasi Nilai-Nilai Pancasila dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Melalui optimalisasi media pembelajaran video berbasis kearifan lokal dapat menumbuhkan karakter kreatif, tanggung jawab, keterbukaan, dan santun. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT menyatakan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal efektif untuk diterapkan di sekolah dasar. Metode penulisan dalam karya tulis ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bersumber dari buku maupun hasil penelitian yang relevan. Penerapan video pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan karakter siswa sekolah dasar yang berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila

Abstract

Learning media is one important component that can help teachers in the learning process and can attract the attention of students to learn. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of powtoon audiovisual media to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects at SD N 2 Ngabul Annual Jepara. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental (quasi experiment research). This quasi-experimental study is conducted by giving treatment to a class, hereinafter referred to as the experimental class, which will be compared with the control class. The research subjects were grade IV SDN 2 Ngabul. The average pretest learning outcomes of the experimental group students was 58.89 and the control group was 56, 94 while the average posttest learning outcomes of the experimental group was 76.94 and the control group was 71.11. Based on the independent sample t test with a significance level α = 5%, the value obtained is 0.040> 0.05 with the value of t count> t table is 2.128> 2.101 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant difference between the experimental group learning outcomes and group. This shows that the use of powtoon audiovisual media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the content of science lessons in elementary school.

Abstract

Pencapaian kompetensi pada suatu satuan pendidikan dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran IPA di SD hendaknya membuka kesempatan untuk memupuk rasa ingin tahu peserta didik secara ilmiah. Tetapi pada kenyataanya tidak semua peserta didik menguasai kompetensi seperti yang diharapkan. Penguasaan konsep IPA yang kurang ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan peserta didik dalam merespon pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru mereka. Permasalahan tersebut membuat siswa cenderung kurang kreatif dalam belajar dan sulit memahami materi yang disampaikan. Selain itu, sejauh ini media pembelajaran dan metode yang digunakan kurang bervariasi. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dan pemahaman siswa dalam mempelajari gaya dan gerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pendidikan monopoli pada gaya dan gerak di kelas IV Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation). Struktur permainan monopoli yang dikembangkan berbasis aplikasi meliputi beberapa komponen monopoli pada umunya yaitu bidak pemain, dadu, petak materi, dan bersifat pengumpulan poin. Berdasarkan uji validasi ahli bahan, ditemukan bahwa persentase kesesuaian bahan dalam monopoli gaya dan gerak adalah 70,83% atau cukup baik. Sementara itu, untuk tes validasi ahli media persentase kelayakan adalah 63,33% atau cukup baik. Berdasarkan uji validasi diperoleh rata-rata 67,08% atau jika diartikan maka monopoli game gaya dan gerak cukup layak sebagai media pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of learning media “RUMAT” in Mathematics subject specifically about plane materials for elementary school students grade IV. The type of this study is experimental study. The subjects of this study are students and teachers in grade IV MI Terpadu Al-Falah, Bakalan, Kalinyamatan, Jepara. The students were divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. Students in experimental group were taught about plane material using “RUMAT” media while students in control group were taught about the same material without using the media. In the end of the study, post test was done in order to know if there is difference result from both groups. The data in this study is about The Effectiveness of RUMAT as A Learning Media to Teach Plane Materials on Mathematics Subject for Students Grade IV in MI Terpadu Al-Falah, Bakalan, Kalinyamatan, Jepara. Some techniques such observation, interview, documentation, and test were done to collect the data. The result of T-test on experimental and control groups is 2,041. The finding from T-test shows that Tcount > Ttable or 2,041 > 1,673 which means that Ho is refused and Ha is accepted. From the data mentioned above, it can be concluded that the use of “RUMAT” is effective to be used as a learning media to teach plane material for students grade IV in MI Terpadu Al-Falah, Bakalan, Kalinyamatan, Jepara.Keywords: RUMAT media, learning outcome

Abstract

The children’s’ literature is a form of imaginative creation with language exposure that describes the world of fiction, presents understanding and experience and contains aesthetic value. The children's literature is synonymous with cultural elements, namely fairy tales or legends. The development of culture itself is inseparable from the discipline of mathematics. The cultural relationship with mathematics is a scientific discipline called ethnomathematics. The children’s literary based ethnomathematics forms influence the knowledge of regional insights and the ability to think critically mathematics. The role of children's literature based ethnomathematics developed in a modern way through comics or fairy tales, gives enthusiasm for reading and knowledge of regional insights, namely local languages, traditional houses, special foods, and others
