Abstract

The production of superoxide by mitochondria strongly depends on the mitochondrial respiratory chain. It is believed that the acetylation of cytochrome c prevents its reoxidation by mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase and direct reduction by NADH-or succinate-dependent cytochrome c reductase. It is believed that ubiquinone can be one of the major producers of superoxide because the depletion of endogenous ubiquinone resulted in the formation of diminishing hydrogen peroxide.

This study design was a quantitative study using questionnaire form modified by the researcher himself as the main instrument. The data obtained will be analyzed using Statistical Package For Social Sciences (SPSS) software to gain validity and reliability of each variable construct. It is hoped that the results of this study provide some initial input on Brunei Darussalam's youth entrepreneurs as human capital in th country's development through entrepreneurship.
