Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia yang gemar mengkomsumsi sayuran dikarenakan menyukai rasanya di kalangan anak muda terbilang tidak banyak, sebagian besar menolak karena belum memiliki pengetahuan kesehatan yang cukup. Penelitian ini mengupas mengenai sayuran daun yang semestinya dikonsumsi oleh remaja. Jenis sayuran daun yang dipilih sebagai obyek penelitian adalah daun singkong, daun kemangi, kelor, dan beluntas. Empat jenis sayuran daun ini kemudian akan diproses menjadi wacana secara visual untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan bagi kalangan anak muda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah jenis kuantitatif dengan penggalian data melalui adalah survei, angket, dan studi literasi. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menghasilkan karya storyboard, berfungsi untuk memperlihatkan bentuk atau gambar visual dari cerita agar masyarakat yang melihat mampu menangkap informasi yang ingin diberikan melalui media animasi 2 dimensi. Diharapkan hasil perancangan ini dapat memberikan edukasi dan motivasi terhadap masyarakat muda Indonesia agar peduli dengan lingkungan sekitar dan mengetahui seberapa pentingnya sayuran-sayuran bagi kesehatan perkembangan mereka. Abstract

Erupsi Gunung Papandayan tahun 1772 merupakan sebuah bencana alam yang sangat besar. Sebanyak 40 desa dan 2.951 jiwa menjadi korban. Tak hanya itu, erupsi juga menghanguskan ratusan pohon di sebuah kawasan yang kini dikenal sebagai Hutan Mati. Walaupun terlihat suram, keunikan Hutan Mati menjadikannya salah satu wisata alam yang menarik untuk dikunjungi oleh para pendaki Gunung Papandayan. Untuk memperkenalkan Hutan Mati kepada anak-anak, dibuat perancangan yang ditampilkan dalam media storybook. Karakter dalam cerita dirancang sesuai dengan data terkait Hutan Mati, dengan memperhatikan unsur fisiologi, psikologis, dan sosiologis. Penggabungan genre fiksi sejarahdengan fantasi membuat cerita menjadi informatif dan menarik, sehingga pesan dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah storybook yang menggambarkan sejarah terbentuknya Hutan Mati. Melalui perancangan ini, diharapkan anak-anak dapat mengenal dan ikut menjaga keindahan alam yang terdapat disekitar kita. Abstract

Rumah Gadang is a traditional house of the Minangkabau tribe. Traditional houses are a wealth of objects that can be used as tourism objects. The famous Rumah Gadang Istano Basa Pagaruyung in West Sumatra was formerly the center of government of the Pagaruyung kingdom and became the residence of the royal family. Now this Gadang House is a cultural heritage asset for the Minangkabau tribe and has changed its function as a museum. It's a shame that the prestige of the museum, which is full of history, is getting less and less well-known, as can be seen from visits that only make it a location for selfies without going into and studying the collections contained in the museum. Therefore, a storyboard will be made that introduces the Kingdom of Pagaruyung. Qualitative method research was conducted to find visual ideas that could be adopted as the basis for the design. Data collection used interviews and direct observation. The findings were also strengthened by a literature study targeting youth in West Sumatra. Abstract

Sasak women's activities has variousform of traditional works, such as minsah, weaving, betel nut (Mamaq), and so on. The various activities of Sasak women who were so attractive lately began to disappear; creates an urge to devote and appreciate it in paintings. The method of creating this work goes through several stages, including observing, learning, and concentrating ideas related to the theme raised. Exploration uses two forms, namely visual exploration and conceptual exploration. The source of data in the idea of creation is primary data from direct observation. As for the secondary data from books and the internet. The method of analysis is through a reduction process, the data that has been selected is embodied in a visual form with an initial embodiment through simple sketches. Sketching is done on paper media. The results of the sketches that were made were then sorted and eight sketches were selected according to the theme. The result is eight realist paintings entitled: Minsah, Bait aik, Begutu, Meriap, Nyensek, Nampik, Selling cloth, Mamak. Keywords: Sasak women’s activities, Painting, Realism.

Abstract

Trangsan Village in Gatak, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province has been the center of the rattan handicraft industry since 1927. Currently it is the largest rattan industry in Central Java. Rattan raw materials imported from Kalimantan and then processed into ready-to-use goods for household needs. The policy to export raw rattan again in order to reduce the level of smuggling makes raw materials difficult to obtain. So that the Trangsan village craftsmen creatively combine materials from water hyacinth to reduce the use of rattan. This creativity is a source of research ideas regarding the aesthetics of combining rattan and water hyacinth materials as the manufacture of chair products. Descriptive qualitative research will describe the findings of applications with aesthetic value and quality. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews, as well as documentation. Data analysis found the conclusion that the aesthetic value of the chairs produced by Trangsan comes from the harmony of the woven layout which creates a sense of pleasure and satisfaction from its customers.
