Abstract

When it comes to accounting software, MSMEs believe that recording financial statements is difficult, complicated, and superfluous. Bank Indonesia is making an effort to address the problem of capturing and preserving financial information by creating the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Application. SIAPIK, a mobile and web-based information system for collecting and managing financial data, is a problem that MSMEs commonly face. This service seeks to improve financial literacy by integrating the SIAPIK Application into MSMEs' company operations and using it to generate financial reports that adhere to their Financial Accounting Standards (SAK). Training activities are conducted using the Dialogical Method, the Practice and Assistance Method, and the Lecture Method. According to the results, MSME actors can become more adept with the SIAPIK application, use it for business objectives, and prepare financial reports that meet MSME SAK criteria, which can subsequently be taken into account when asking loans.

Abstract

Protecting freedom of expression is a critical component in ensuring that the democratic process goes well, particularly during general elections such as the presidential election, DPR, DPRD, and DPD in North Minahasa Regency. This study will look at how the government safeguards free expression during the electoral process. In a democratic system, freedom of expression serves as the primary foundation for people to express their political beliefs, actively participate in public debates, and make informed judgments. However, political pressure, abuse of authority, and the propagation of disinformation frequently make it difficult to execute this safeguard. This study examines government policies, applicable laws, and steps taken to safeguard freedom of expression, while ensuring a fair and transparent election process. In addition, this study highlights the role of election supervisory institutions, law enforcement officers, and the media in safeguarding this freedom. The results of the study show that although there have been various policies to protect freedom of expression, there are still obstacles in their implementation, especially related to control over press freedom and freedom of expression on social media. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen policies and more effective oversight mechanisms to ensure that every citizen can express their opinions freely and without intimidation in every stage of the general election in North Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

The principle of presumption of innocence is one of the fundamental principles in the judiciary that guarantees human rights (HAM). This study utilizes normative legal methods with a statutory regulatory approach, document analysis, and case studies to identify it in Indonesian criminal law. It is known that this principle is not only recognized in the national legal system, for example, the 1945 Constitution and the Criminal Procedure Code, but also in international conventions, such as UDHR) and ICCPR. Challenges to its implementation in Indonesia include public stigma on the accused, media pressure, and violations of legal procedures. The recommendation is to take strategic steps for strengthening the application of the principle of presumption of innocence and certainty of human rights in the Indonesian criminal justice system.

Abstract

Maximizing digitalization is essential for MSMEs to thrive, requiring strategies that align with their business models. The digital era brings challenges, especially rising competition, necessitating precise approaches to sustain competitiveness. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Yeyadana Store adapted by adopting the 7P Marketing Mix, upgrading technology, and optimizing SEO content, which transformed its operations. MSMEs must adopt similar strategies to stay competitive and meet evolving customer expectations. This study examines factors affecting MSME competitiveness in Palu and suggests optimization strategies to support growth in the digital era. Employing a mixed-method approach, it begins with quantitative data collection and analysis, followed by qualitative validation. Findings reveal that only 36% of MSMEs in Palu use digital marketing, while 64% depend on traditional methods, emphasizing the need for wider digital adoption. Key strategies proposed include product and service development, customer data analysis, digital skill enhancement, social media marketing, and strategic partnerships.
