Abstract

The issue of wasting remains a major concern, with Indonesia being the second-highest country in the world for child wasting, reporting more than 760,000 cases of malnourished children. This figure poses a serious threat to the future of Indonesia's younger generation. The 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) shows that Sigi Regency ranks first in Central Sulawesi with the highest undernutrition rate (156%). Numerous toddler food products now include moringa leaves, and the government has addressed undernutrition through programs such as the Supplementary Feeding Program. Moringa leaves have been widely used to tackle malnutrition issues, as applied in Sigi Regency, where moringa and anchovy (Teri) are staple foods of the Kaili tribe. Local food modification efforts are among the strategies to enhance nutritional intake. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of modifying a snack bar made from anchovy fish and moringa leaves to improve weight in malnourished toddlers. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with 40 undernourished toddlers whose weights were measured before and after consuming the modified snack bar. Results showed a significant improvement in the nutritional status of the toddlers, especially for those previously classified as severely malnourished.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the talent management strategy within the Parigi Moutong Regency Government and evaluate its impact on civil servant (ASN) development and organizational performance. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) and selected regional work units (OPDs). The findings reveal that the implementation of talent management remains partial, focusing primarily on recruitment and basic training, while talent mapping and career management have yet to be optimized. Supporting factors include leadership commitment and the availability of basic regulations, whereas major obstacles consist of budget limitations, low digital literacy, and an administrative-oriented bureaucratic culture. Positive impacts are evident in the improved competencies of civil servants participating in competency-based training, though the limited coverage reduces its broader effectiveness. The study concludes that strengthening competency-based and technology-driven talent management systems is essential to enhance ASN competitiveness at the local level. Policy recommendations include digitalizing talent mapping, enhancing managerial capacity, and integrating career development programs with organizational needs.

Abstract

Maximizing digitalization is essential for MSMEs to thrive, requiring strategies that align with their business models. The digital era brings challenges, especially rising competition, necessitating precise approaches to sustain competitiveness. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Yeyadana Store adapted by adopting the 7P Marketing Mix, upgrading technology, and optimizing SEO content, which transformed its operations. MSMEs must adopt similar strategies to stay competitive and meet evolving customer expectations. This study examines factors affecting MSME competitiveness in Palu and suggests optimization strategies to support growth in the digital era. Employing a mixed-method approach, it begins with quantitative data collection and analysis, followed by qualitative validation. Findings reveal that only 36% of MSMEs in Palu use digital marketing, while 64% depend on traditional methods, emphasizing the need for wider digital adoption. Key strategies proposed include product and service development, customer data analysis, digital skill enhancement, social media marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize Meta ads-based digital marketing strategies to increase sales of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Palu City, which is characterized by low digital literacy among MSMEs, but 70% of its residents are active social media users. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving 50 MSMEs, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group (Meta ads mentoring) and a control group (independent use of Meta ads). The results showed that the Meta ads strategy with regular mentoring significantly increased MSME revenue compared to the independent strategy. Key success factors included the relevance of ad content, precise audience targeting, and campaign performance data analysis. These findings can be a reference for businesses and local governments in designing evidence-based digital marketing mentoring programs.

Abstract

The growth of MSMEs in developing areas, especially Palu City, continues to increase and some have failed so that they have to close their businesses. This failure can be caused by several factors, including limited budget for marketing, making it difficult to compete with large companies in terms of promotion and advertising. The difficulty in gaining sufficient visibility in a crowded and competitive market is often a factor in MSMEs sinking among larger and better-known competitors, making it difficult to reach and attract the attention of the right target market. Another factor is due to the lack of knowledge of MSME actors about modern marketing skills, such as the use of social media platforms and other digital marketing tools. This study aims to explore the effect of using meta ads on increasing sales of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Palu City, so that they can have the right target market. This study will use a mixed method approach by combining quantitative and qualitative design methods with a sample size of 30 samples divided into two groups using ads marketing and conventional marketing. Bivariate data analysis using paired t-test showed that marketing through Meta Ads has a significant positive effect on the income of MSME actors compared to conventional marketing. Most respondents have proven that advertising is needed to attract consumers and that the use of social media, especially Meta Ads.
