<![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to improve the students learning achievement of Social Sciences (IPS) in class IX-C of SMP Negeri 4 Praya by using Make A-Match learning method. This research used classroom action research methods and was carried out at the fourth class of IX-C in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019 with 39 students, in which 16 male students and 23 female students. The sequence of research activities included: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation of actions, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. The result of the study showed that Make-a Match method was proven to improve the students learning achievement as seen in the result of recapitulation of each cycle from the first cycle, in which 26 students or 65% were said to be complete and 13 students or 33% were not complete, and in the second cycle 37 students or 92.31% were said to be complete and 3 students or 7.69% had not been complete. From the recapitulation result of each cycle above, it was seen that cycle I to cycle II increased by 4.57%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Make-a Match learning method can improve the students learning achievement of Social Sciences (IPS) in class IX-C of SMP Negeri 4 Praya in the year of 2018/2019.]]>

<![CDATA[This study was aimed to know the improvement of PPKn learning achievement of the grade IX.3 students in SMP Negeri 4 Praya Timur by using Discovery Learning model. This research was a classroom action research with 21 students, consisting of 10 female students and 11 male students as the research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, where each cycle was carried out in three meetings. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that in pretest stage there were 61.90% of students were declared unfinished and 38.10% of students declared complete with the highest score of 87. The number of students who reached the KKM target in the first cycle pretest was as many as 8 out of 21 students. After implementing the Discovery Learning model in the first cycle, there were 38.10% of students who did not complete, and 61.90% of students who were declared complete with the highest score of 91. The number of students who met the KKM standard was 13 out of 21 participants. However, after the implementation of the second cycle, the number of students in the posttest who completed as much as 90.48% and those who were declared incomplete was 9.52% with the highest value of 100. The number of students who received grades above the KKM standard was 19 out of 21 students. Thus, the researcher can conclude that the Discovery Learning learning model applied has a positive influence on students learning achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and student learning outcomes after the earthquake in SMP Negeri 1 Gangga through the application of a Pocket Book with a scientific approach. The research method used was classroom action research consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The research instruments used were observation sheets and tests. While the data of this research were analyzed through descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the application of a Pocket Book with a scientific approach had been able to increase motivation and student learning outcomes. This could be proved by data of all classroom action research activities which had showed improvements starting from pre-action, cycle 1 and cycle II.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study was to know the effect of Learning Planning Management on the performance of high school teachers in the city of Mataram. This study used a quantitative research approach with ex-post facto methods. The population of this study was all of the 137 SMA teachers and SMA 5 Mataram teachers. The research sample consisted of 58 teachers taken using probability sampling techniques. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used were statistical analysis, namely simple regression and multiple regression tests. The result of the study showed that Learning Planning Management had a positive effect on the performance of high school teachers in Mataram City by 19.2%. Thus, it can be concluded that the better the planning of learning management, the better performance of high school teachers in the city of Mataram would increase.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve the student learning outcomes of grades VIII.1 SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung in learning science subject matter through the application of Discovery learning models. This research used classroom action research with 29 research subjects. The research instruments used were observation sheets and tests. Data of this research were analyzed through descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result of the study showed that the average evaluation results in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 61.03, 75.10 and 83.72 with classical completeness of each cycle was 55, 17%, 72.41% and 89.66%. From the learning outcomes, it indicated that there was an increase in the average value from cycle I to cycle II, cycle II to cycle III which proves student learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of Discovery learning models in the learning of science subject matter can improve student learning outcomes of grades VIII.1 SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung in the academic year 2018/2019.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of healing in cut wounds by administering Jatropha curcas in a gel formulation that is effective in healing cuts of tested animals. The sap was obtained by breaking Jatropha curcas (Jathropha curcas), stored and then was formulated into a gel with a sap concentration of 0%, 8%, 16%. The wound healing effect test was carried out on mice by injuring 15 mm and was smeared every day with Jatropha gum gel and compared to Betadine until the wound healed. The result of the study showed that the gel formula with a concentration of 0% healed wounds on the 10th day, an concentration of 8% healed the wounds on the 8th day, and a concentration of 16% on the 6th day, whereas Betadine 10% as a comparison of mice died. Thus, from the research conducted it can be concluded that Jatropha curcas in the form of gel preparations can provide the best healing effect at a concentration of 16% with the fastest wound healing time of 6 days.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Make a Match learning model in SMPN 2 Kayangan. The research method used was classroom action research with 29 students as subjects. The research instrument used was a learning achievement test. While the data analysis of the research useed descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result of this study indicated that the application of the make a match learning model could improve the learning outcomes of science in class 9.1 students of SMPN 2 Kayangan in academic year 2017/2018. Student learning outcomes before the application of make a match learning were very low, in which the classical completeness score was only 20.7%. After taking action by applying the make a match learning model in cycle II, a classical completeness value was 86.2% obtained where 25 students who scored above the KKM. And, in the third cycle, the classical completeness value was 93.1% where 27 students got a score above the KKM.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study was to improve the students’ mathematics learning outcomes of SMPN 1 Kayangan through the application of the Independent training method. This research used classroom action research by applying the model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was conducted in class VIII.1 of SMPN 1 Kayangan in the Even Semester of the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection instruments used were observation sheets, test, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The result of the study showed that the students’ mathematics learning outcomes by applying the Independent training method in cycle 1 was 65.2% and cycle 2 was 85.2%. Meanwhile, the average cycle test results were 70.2 and cycle 2 was 81.4. This result indcated an increase in student learning outcomes. From this classroom action research, it can be concluded that Independent training can improve the students’ mathematics learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 1 Kayangan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to seek the effect of the Note-Taking Pairs strategy on the students' critical thinking skill in reading comprehension. This study used an experimental method with pre-test and post-test design. The research sample covered class XI-IPA2 which was used as an experimental group and consisted of 26 students and class XI-IPA1 was used as a control group consisting of 26 students. The instruments used in collecting data were reading test in the form of multiple-choice and observation sheets of critical thinking skills. The finding data were subsequently analyzed by using SPSS 18. The t-test results showed that the t-test value (1.754) was higher than the t-table (1.671) at the significance level 0.05. Therefore, based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect from the use of the Note-Taking Pairs strategy on the students' critical thinking skill in reading comprehension at the eleventh-grade students of SMAN 2 Narmada.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to increase student motivation in learning science through the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model in SMP Negeri 1 Kayangan. The research method used was classroom action research with 28 students as subjects. The research instrument used was an observation sheet. The analysis of the data of this research used descriptive qualitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result of this study showed that the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model in learning science in the material elements, compounds, and mixtures could increase student motivation. It could be indicated by an increase in the percentage of the students’ learning mastery in cycle II in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kayangan.]]>
