Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the differences in student learning outcomes taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning (DL) models on chemical bonding material. (2) determine the differences in students' learning motivation who are taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning (DL) models on chemical bond material. (3) there is a correlation between motivation and learning outcomes of students who are taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning (DL) models on chemical bond material. This research was conducted at SMAN 11 Medan with the samples studied were X-3 and X-7. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions with 20 validated questions and a non-test in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are carried out by: Data normality test, data homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and correlation test. The results obtained: (1) There are differences in student learning outcomes taught using the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on chemical bonding material. The average student learning outcomes in experimental class I using Problem Based Learning was 74.8. Meanwhile, the average learning outcome for experimental class II using the Discovery Learning model was 79.6. (2) There were differences in the learning motivation of students who were taught using the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on chemical bond material. Meanwhile, the average learning motivation of students in experimental class I using Problem Based Learning is 67.6. Meanwhile, the average learning motivation in experimental class II which was taught using the Discovery learning model was 72.5. (3) There is a correlation between students and learning outcomes taught using the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on chemical bond material with a positive correlation value. In experimental class I obtained Sig. = 0.00 with Pearson Correlation = 0.795 and experimental class II Sig. = 0.000 with Pearson Correlation = 0.879.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of implementing problem-based e-Modules on student motivation and learning outcomes in colloid system material in class XI SMA Negeri 9 Medan. This research method is descriptive quantitative with taking samples from the population by random sampling as many as 60 students as samples (30 students in class XI-2 as experiments and 30 students in class XI-1 as controls). Data was collected through tests and questionnaires, then analyzed using SPSS 24 for Windows with a one-party t-test. The results of the analysis show that students' chemistry learning motivation increased significantly with the implementation of the e-Module, with the average score of the experimental class (71.33%) being higher than the control class (49.00%). This is supported by the results of the one-party t-test which shows a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Apart from that, there is a significant influence on students' chemistry learning outcomes, with the experimental class post-test score (79.67) being higher than the control class (74.5) and the one-tailed t-test significance value of 0.031 < 0.05 . Research also shows a positive correlation between motivation and student learning outcomes with a sig value of 0.026 < 0.05, confirming that the application of problem-based e-Modules contributes to improving student chemistry learning outcomes in colloidal systems material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in learning outcomes and science process skills of students learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material, as well as the correlation between students' science process skills and student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research. The samples in this study were taken by random sampling of 2 classes, namely XI MIPA 1 as experimental class I and XI MIPA 3 as experimental class II, where each class was taken by 29 students based on the similarity of pretest results. The instruments used are test instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions and essays and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the SPSS Statistic version 24 for Windows computer program using the Independent Sample T-Test and Bivariate Pearson Correlation. For hypothesis I obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.008   (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there are differences in student learning outcomes learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material. For hypothesis II obtained sig value. (2-tailed) 0.010   (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there are differences in students' science process skills learned with the Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material. For hypotheses III and IV obtained sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.002 and 0.001  (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there is a correlation between students' science process skills and student learning outcomes learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a learning module for entrepreneurship courses to train student independence. The module was prepared in the form of a printed module. This module was created as an educational tool for entrepreneurship classes in the Faculty of Agriculture's Agricultural Product Technology Study Program, PGRI Banyuwangi University. The technique employed in developing this module is the ADDIE development model, this model is used because the development stages are simpler and the time used is not too long. The study's findings are in the form of an entrepreneurship learning module to determine the feasibility of using this module, trials have been carried out including individual trials and group trials. The individual trial involved 3 students, while the group involved 9 students. In this study, it was found that the confirmation from material experts was 92.5% and the media expert validation was 87.5% so that it could be categorized as very good. It is also carried out limited and group trials with the aim of seeing the feasibility of the products developed. The restricted trial's outcomes were as follows an average of 89.58%, meaning that the average can be categorized as excellent and the results of the group trial obtained an average of 90.26% so that the developed module is categorized as feasible and can train student independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop video media that is valid and practical as a medium for promoting embung puri idaman tourism in purwosari village, East Oku district. This research is a development research using the borg and gall research model. The practicality and validity of the media were assessed by three expert validators, namely language expert validation, media expert validation, and material expert validation. The implementation of promotional video media was carried out in two stages, namely one to one trials and small group trials. The result of this study is a promotional video media tour that has an average level of validity on experts 93.5% with a very practical category. While the feasibility score at the one to one stage is 97.5% with a very feasible category, and at the small group stage is 86.42% with practical and valid categories. Based on the results of the above research, therefore, the tourism promotion video media developed attracts the attention of potential tourists, which is stated to foster interest in visiting Embung Puri Idaman so that it can be used.
