Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the country of origin on purchase intention of imported cosmetic products by moderating the variable product knowledge. The independent variables in this study are the country of origin, purchase intention as the dependent variable and product knowledge as the moderator variable. A total of 73 questionnaires were distributed to students in Malang that were selected using a purposive sampling technique, which was then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. Purposive sampling technique is used to select students who use imported cosmetic products. All hypotheses in this study are accepted which showed that the country of origin influenced the purchase intention, and product knowledge moderated the influence of the country of origin on purchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find solutions and determine the strategies of Fur Market traders in order to increase their sales turnover. The methodology of this research is the method of solving problems using qualitative descriptive and SWOT analysis by making direct observations or observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the SWOT analysis of traders at the Semarang Fur Market are in a growth strategy which is designed to achieve growth in sales, capital or profits or a combination of the three. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Funds (DAU) on Regency / City Capital Expenditures in East Java The analysis model in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis, regression analysis is an analysis of the dependence of one dependent variable (bound) on one or more independent variables (free / explanatory). Based on the Regression Test the analysis results obtained both PAD and DAU have a positive regression coefficient, meaning that if there is a positive change in the independent variables (PAD and DAU) will also cause an increase in the value of regional spending. The coefficient of determination is 88.7% The coefficient of determination or R2 Adjusted value of 88.7% indicates that changes in capital expenditure 88.7% can be explained or determined by changes in the independent variables PAD and DAU, while 11.3% is explained by variables outside of PAD and DAU. Significant influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable can be seen from the results of the Fcount 0.00 test which is smaller than the standard tolerable error of α = 5%

Abstract

The reseach purpose is to analyze the selection of inventory accounting methods and the factors that influence decision making accounting methods to be used. The research examines four independent variables, namely the variability of inventory, companies size, current ratio and inventory turnover ratio. While the dependent variable in this study is the FIFO and average methods. The population of the research is 144 the manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2017. The sample selection uses purposive sampling method, which is the determination of samples based on predetermined criteria. Then obtained a total sample of 48 companies during the period 2014-2017. This study uses a quantitative approach and the analysis technique uses is logistic regression, with SPSS version 22 analysis tools. The results of this research indicate that the variability of inventory and companies size does not significantly influence the selection of inventory acconting methods. While the current ratio and inventory turnover ratio significantly influence the selection of inventory acconting methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal control systems, information technology, human resources and organizational commitment to the quality of the Semarang City goverment’s financial statements . This type of research is a quantitative study using primary data. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population in this study OPD Semarang City. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample of this study were 80 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) internal control system affect the quality of financial statements, (2) information technology affects he quality of financial statements, (3) human resources affect he quality of financial statements, (4) organizational commitment doesnt affect he quality of financial statements.

Abstract

The aim of this study is determine the effect of leadership style and self motivation on student academic achievement. In order to obtain a comprehensive picture, the object of the research was all first and second level students both D3 and D4 Business Administration Department of the State Polytechnic of Malang. The results are expected to be used as input related to leadership style and self motivation towards student academic achievement.The concept of HR policies studied also needs to be understood by academics. For this reason, the results of this study will also be published in accredited scientific journals. Besides that, it needs to be realized in the form of teaching materials so it can be used as a reference in the teaching and learning process at the Business Administration Department of the State Polytechnic of Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the factors of price perspective attributes, brand benefits, media branding, promotions, after-sales guarantee, products, colors, and designs as well as fuel consumption as items of motor products on consumer behavior. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample size of 194 respondents. The data analysis was using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results showed that Honda's products were more dominant in the implementation of its marketing strategy with a contribution of 87.75% while the attributes of Yamaha's products contributed to the influence of the remaining 79.40% influenced by other factors. In addition, the results of the analysis obtained a regression equation for Honda products Y = -13.33 + 0.428 X1 - 0.035 X2 + 0.02 X3 + 0.319 X4 + 0.01 X5 + 0.367 X6 - 0.03 X7 + 0.034 X8, while for Yamaha products are Y = -13.03 + 0.37 X1 + 0.5 X2 + 0.11 X3 + 0.30 X4 - 0.004 X5 + 0.33 X6 - 0.13 X7 + 0.2X8.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara dinamis ekspor dan impor pada pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini terdiri dari data sekunder yang berbentuk data runtun waktu 1970 sampai 2019.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Model Koreksi Keslahan . Hasil dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa jumlah ekspor jangka panjang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhanekonomi sedangkan jumlah impor dalam jangka panjang berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dengan demikian mengartikan bahwa apabila jumlah barang atau jasa yang di ekspor ke luar negeri semakin banyak maka akan meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, sebaliknya kenaikan barang impor akan akan menurunkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam negeri, dengan demikian hasil ini dapat digunakan untuk inspirasi strategi dalam menghadapi peluang bisnis di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study: to examine and analyze the effect of the institution's reputation, service quality on student satisfaction, with trust as an intervening variable. The study was conducted by accidental sampling technique, using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 93 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the path analysis technique. The results of the study concluded that: Institutional reputation directly influences trust. Service quality has a direct effect on trust. Institutional reputation has a direct influence on student satisfaction. Service quality has a direct effect on student satisfaction. Trust has a direct influence on student satisfaction. Institutional reputation has an influence on student satisfaction through trust as an intervening variable. Service quality has an influence on student satisfaction through trust as an intervening variable. (3) human resources affect he quality of financial statements, (4) organizational commitment doesnt affect he quality of financial statements.
