Abstract

In investing, investors will try to limit all the risks in managing their investments. Investor strategies to minimize investment risk are diversification by forming investment portfolios, one of which is the Mean-Variance without risk-free assets. The calculation results will show the composition of the optimum portfolio return for each stock that forms the portfolio. Optimum portfolio obtained with wT = (0.39853, 0.25519, 0.13644, 0.09788, 0.11196) sequential weight composition for TLKM, KLBF, INCO, HRUM, and FILM stocks. The composition of this optimal portfolio return is ???? 0.04 with a return of 0.00209 and a portfolio variance of 0.00015. The formation of this portfolio optimization model is expected to be additional literature in optimizing the investment portfolio with the Mean-Variance.

Abstract

Poverty is still an issue for Indonesians. In Indonesia, several provinces still have poverty rates above 10%. Central Java is one of them. The human development index (HDI), the quality of education, the minimum salary, and population growth are all factors that contribute to the unemployment rate and poverty. During the years 2019–2021, the study aims to understand the relationship or correlation between education and population increase in poverty in central Java province. We acquired a value of r of as much as -0,648 for education level and a value of r of as much as 0.335 for population growth based on the analysis of using Pearson’s correlation. The findings indicate that the level of education is strongly related to the level of poverty, whereas the relationship between population growth and poverty is weak. A negative value at r shows the relation, which is inversely. Based on the results of this study, it is also expected for the government to develop programs to improve the quality of education of its resident.

Abstract

The last few decades have seen significant research in the fields of innovation and leadership. The act of motivating, influencing, and directing team members toward the intended objectives is referred to as leadership. However, the term of leadership is broad and has various definitions. It encompasses and influences a range of methods, circumstances, aptitudes, and attributes. On the other side, innovative leaders are creative thinkers who may produce concepts that serve as the foundation for innovation. Understanding the principles of leadership and innovation is essential before one can fully comprehend the true meaning of innovative leadership. This study combines the two terms, reviews the innovative leadership style that will be discussed in the literature, and gives a general summary of how the two terms affect employees' performance.

Abstract

Human development is now seen as a measure of the success of the development of a nation which is closely related to the economic, social, cultural, political and environmental fields. The success of human development is measured based on the Human Development Index (IPM). Boyolali Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java Province which has diverse and abundant natural resources. The large potential of natural resources owned should be in line with the quality of human development. However, it turns out that this is not in line with the HDI value of Boyolali Regency which is still below the average HDI value of Central Java. So that the Boyolali government continues to strive to maximize the potential and increase the HDI value. Based on this, it is necessary to do forecasting as a reference to maximize the level of human development in Boyolali Regency in the next few years. In this study, HDI forecasting in Boyolali Regency was carried out using the Double Exponential Smoothing method from Brown with the data used is HDI data in Boyolali Regency from 2011 to 2021. The data used was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Boyolali Regency. HDI forecasting was also carried out using the arithmetical method, and the best forecasting results were compared between the two methods based on the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). Forecasting results using the Double Exponential Smoothing method produce the best alpha smoothing parameter values of 0.91 and MAPE values of 0.4061%. Meanwhile, using the arithmetic series method, the MAPE is 0.4704%. Both methods produce MAPE values with very good criteria, so that both methods can be used for forecasting. However, based on the criteria for the smallest MAPE value, the Double Exponential Smoothing method is used. The results of the HDI forecasting using the Double Exponential Smoothing method for 2022, 2023 and 2024 are 74.61, 74.81 and 75.02 respectively. While the results of forecasting with arithmetical method for the same years are 74.93, 75.45, and 75.98.

Abstract

Provisions on grants are regulated in Article 1666 of the Civil Code (BW), that grants are gifts by someone to another person free of charge and cannot be withdrawn, for movable goods (in front of a notary) and immovable goods (with a deed of Land Deed Official – "PPAT") when the grantor is still alive. The provisions of the grant as referred to (1) The grantor must be an adult (Article 1677 of the Indonesian Civil Code); (2) A grant must be made with a notarial deed originally kept by a notary (Article 1682 of the Indonesian Civil Code); (3) A grant binds the donor or issues a consequence starting from the grant with firm words received by the grantee (Article 1683 of the Indonesian Civil Code). But on the other hand, there is a provision that grants must pay attention to the approval of the heirs and do not violate their absolute rights, as stated in Article 913 Indonesian Civil Code. If the process has been carried out and does not violate the absolute rights of the heirs, then the object of the grant is legally transferred to the recipient of the grant. However, the practice is often considered to violate the rights of heirs, so most notaries and PPATs ask for a letter or statement of their approval. This condition shows that the arrangement of grants and the distribution of inheritance does not reflect the legal ideals of legal certainty, benefit, and justice. So based on these conditions, it is necessary to have a regulatory model that can be used as a reference in the formulation of arrangements for granting and guaranteeing inheritance distribution according to the Legitieme Portie. The regulatory model referred to in this paper is in the form of formulating a regulatory pattern that provides a comprehensive picture of the harmonization of grant arrangements and guarantees for inheritance distribution according to the Legitieme Portie which can guarantee the implementation of inheritance according to the Legitieme Portie that does not limit property owners in implementing grants on property. To describe the regulatory model, the research method used is a normative juridical method based on a statutory and conceptual approach. With the aim of being able to comprehensively present a form of a continuous pattern of arrangements that will form a protection system to ensure the implementation.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and transportation technology in the era of globalization has facilitated human mobility to carry out activities and lives. Human mobility can occur between countries, thus creating human migration. The process of human migration between countries requires official documents and must obtain permits. The difficulty of licensing and the absence of complete documents are often the openings for transnational crimes of people smuggling. People Smuggling is also happening in Indonesia. The handling of people smuggling in Indonesia is regulated in Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted efforts to deal with people smuggling in Indonesia. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the legal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on efforts to handle people smuggling as a transnational crime in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridical. The literature search will be used to obtain secondary data as primary data. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the Covid 19 pandemic has caused the Indonesian Government to issue a series of policies. One is the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Context of Accelerating the Handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). This regulation prevents the mobility of people entering and leaving Indonesia during the pandemic to reduce the transmission of Covid 19. This policy is also one of the strategies to reduce the crime rate of people smuggling.
