Abstract

Pulmonary TB is an infectious disease that is still the main health problem in Indonesia. One of the problems in Pulmonary TB is non-compliance with medication. This systematic review sheds light on the relationship of intrinsic factors with the treatment adherence of Pulmonary TB patients. This study aims to analyze intrinsic factors related to the adherence of pulmonary TB patients. The design or research method used in this study is review literature. It uses a systematic review of five electronic databases (Pupmed, Wiley, Sage, ProQues, Google Scholar) for previous research published between 2015-2020. Some of the keywords used include Pulmonary TB, age, gender, education, knowledge, employment, income, distance from health care facilities. The PRISMA Flowchart is used to summarize the article selection process. A total of 32,849 articles were identified. Researchers found 10 articles with inclusion criteria met in reviews. Gender, education, knowledge, occupation, income, distance of health care facilities have a significant relationship with the adherence of pulmonary TB patients Obtained intrinsic factors that have no relationship with the adherence of pulmonary TB patients i.e. age factors. Intrinsic factors that have a significant relationship with the treatment compliance of Pulmonary TB patients are gender, education, knowledge, occupation, income and distance of health care facilities.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers experience failure in their growth and development due to insufficient nutrition. The research was conducted to abtain a complete potrait/ picture of stunting in village of Plabuhan.This research method is qualitative with informants consisting of mothers who have children under five with stunting, rural government, rural midwives and posyandu cadres. Data obtained from interviews and stunting data in the village. Data analysis with reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions.The result shows that stunting in the village of Plabuhan is caused by multiple factors ranging from economic factors, knowledge and also cultural factors.In a socio-cultural perspective, the condition of stunting that occurs is not considered as a sick condition so it requires special attention, the condition of stunting is understood as a condition that is accepted because of reasonableness where some of them have ancestors who are also short / small.

Abstract

(THE EFFECT OF BROKEN WATER LEAVES ON THE REDUCTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN URIC ACID SUFFERERS IN WONOSARI VILLAGE, SENORI DISTRICT, TUBAN DISTRICT) Vendi Eko Kurniawan1, Zeny Fatmawati2, Diah Ayu Meilinda3, 1,2,3STIKes Husada Jombang Email : vendi.awan@gmail.com ABSTRACT Uric acid is the result of purine metabolism in the body contained in the blood and urine. There are several ways to overcome uric acid, one of therapy herbal bay leaf. The purpose of this study to the influence of the water decoction of the leaves to decrease the levels of uric acid in patients with gout in the Village of Wonosari Kecamatan Senori Tuban Regency. The design used in this research is pre-experimental approach with one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in the Village of Wonosari Kecamatan Senori Tuban on December 15-23 May 2020. Population and sample in this study were all patients with gout in the Village of Wonosari Kecamatan Senori Tuban Regency a number of 37 people by using a sampling technique total sampling. While the instrument used is a tool checks the uric acid and checklist. Data analysis by using T-Test. The results of this research note that the average uric acid levels before the administration of water decoction of bay leaf is 7,549 mg/dl. While the average levels of uric acid after administration of water decoction of bay leaf is 5,616 mg/dl. Data analysis using T-Test obtained ρ = 0.000 < α = 0.05 so H1 is accepted meaning that there is the effect of water decoction of the leaves to decrease the levels of uric acid in patients with gout. Efforts of health workers so that uric acid levels decreased is to provide IEC about the use of water decoction of bay leaf as a treatment alternative in patients with gout. Keywords: boiling water, bay leaf, decrease uric acid levels.

Abstract

Preschool children are children aged between 3-6 years, while at 4-6 years they usually attend kindergarten programs. It is hoped that they have been able to master several skills that require fine motor skills, such as using playdough by cutting in accordance with the fine motor development that must be achieved.This study aimed to determine the effect of playing therapy by using playdough with patterns cutting toward improving fine motor skills in preschool children in the Kedurang Health Center Work Area. This research design used a quasi experiment. A sample of 15 preschool children was taken by purposive sampling. The results of test analysis in the pre and post therapy intervention group playing playdough obtained a p-value of 0.000. There is a significant effect after playing playdough therapy on improving fine motor skills in preschool children. It is expected that the PAUD Nurul Amal Kab. South Bengkulu, the working area of ​​the Kedurang Public Health Center, can be more creative in using learning methods such as playdough so that children's fine motor skills are more stimulated.

Abstract

The case of Measles and Rubella (MR) in children is a major problem in the health sector especially in Indonesia which requires effective prevention. According to WHO in the Indonesian Ministry of Health 2018, in 2017 the number of MR infections in the world reached around 190,000 cases. Meanwhile, from 2015 to 2017 in Indonesia, MR immunization decreased by 61.8% (Ministry of Health, 2018). In line with case, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mothers’ knowledge and attitudes about giving MR immunization. This study used the Literature Review method with a journal search process. Full-text articles were obtained from a database, Google Scholar, using keywords; knowledge of MR immunization, mothers’ attitudes about MR, and MR immunization. Journals were taken by researchers, published in the period 2015-2020 with a total of 10 journals. The results of this study concluded that from 9/10 journals explained there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers towards MR immunization. Furthermore, just only 1 journal explains there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers towards MR immunization. The researcher suggests that the head of the public health center could do a work plan about counseling measles-rubella immunization to make society realize that it is the important thing.

Abstract

One of the factors thatiican causeiimalnutrition iniichildren underiifive are the bad behavior of the mother in providing food assistance to their children breast milk, so the children do not get enough nutrients for growth and development. Theiaim of researah to determineiithe effectiiof motivation and attitudes of mothers towards supplementary feeding behavior in infants aged 6 months in health Tambakrejo Jombang. The study designiwas observationaliiwith cross sectionaliiapproach. Respondentsiiwere drawn by simpleirandom samplingitechnique. PopulationiAll mothers ofichildren aged 6-9 months were 63 people, a sampleiiof 51 respondents. The independentiivariable of motivation and attitudes, behaviors dependent variable supplementary feeding, and then analyzed using logisticiiregression statistical test. The resultsiishowed most respondents are motivated to give breastfeeding categories were as many as 32 (62.7%) of respondents, most respondents have the attitude to giving breastfeeding with negative category as many as 31 (60.8%) respondents, and almost a half of respondents have a behavior in the provision of breastfeeding by category quite as many as 23 respondents (45.1%) of the total 51 respondents. Data analysis results show the value of p - value = 0.001 to influence the motivation of the behavior andiithe provision of breastfeeding p - value = 0,029 to influence attitudes towards the provision of breastfeeding behavior <α 0,05 so H1iiaccepted whichiimeans thereiiis influenceiiof motivation and attitudes of mothers towards supplementary feeding behavior in infants aged 6-9 months in health Tambakrejo Jombang. High motivation may encourage mothers to exclusively breastfeed, as well as positive attitudes will encourage mothers to exclusively breastfeed because mothers assume that exclusive breastfeeding is good for the baby.

Abstract

Spiritual well-being is an important thing that needs to be considered for breast cancer patients. Low spiritual well-being can make patients hopeless and feel insignificant, especially when the disease stage begins to develop into an advanced stage. The purpose of the study to know the relationship disease stage and spiritual well-being of breast cancer patients. The design of research used a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling as many as 32 respondents. The results showed that 24 respondents (75%) were in stage 3 and spiritual well-being in the moderate category was 22 respondents (68.8%). Spearman rho correlation test showed a significant relationship between disease stage and spiritual well-being of breast cancer patients (p value 0.028 < 0.05) with a correlation coefficient of -0.389. The conclusion that there was a relationship between the stage of the disease and the spiritual well-being of breast cancer patients with a sufficient correlation value and has a negative correlation meaning that the lower stage of the disease, so the spiritual well-being of breast cancer patients will be better. Results of this study, respondents were hoped that could maintained their health and complied the therapy program so that the stage of the disease does not get worse, besides that respondents were expected to be able to get closer to God Almighty so that spiritual well-being will be better.
