Abstract

The problem that still often occurs in the world of education in Indonesia, especially in the field of science is that students are still not active in the learning process. The inquiry learning model and the use of video media are expected to be able to answer these problems. The research method used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample used 69 students at the 8th grade level of SMP in Banjarmasin who were divided into two class groups, namely the control class and the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in learning outcomes between the use of video-assisted inquiry learning models and conventional learning. The trend of both shows positive results that the increase in learning outcomes occurs in both learning models.Keywords: inquiry, learning videos, learning outcomesAbstrakPermasalahan yang masih sering terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya di bidang IPA adalah masih kurang aktifnya peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran inkuiri dan penggunaan media video diharapkan mampu untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 69 orang peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP di Banjarmasin dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media video dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Tren keduanya menunjukkan hasil yang positif bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar terjadi di kedua permodelan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: inkuiri, video pembelajaran, hasil belajar

Abstract

The lack of availability of teaching materials that can foster student activity causes science process skills to be untrained. Therefore, research is aimed at teaching materials with the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model is feasible to improve the students’ activities and science process skill. This development design uses the ADDIE model. The trial subjects were 30 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Data collectoin was through validation sheets, observation of lesson plans, activity observation and students' science process skills, learning achievement tests. The results showed; (1) the validation results of lesson plan, worksheet, teaching materials, and assessment test were valid, (2) the implementation of lesson plan was very good, (3) the activities and the students’ science process skills in the category are very good. Other than that N-gain of the learning outcomes of 0.62 are in the medium category. It was concluded that teaching material with the CLIS model is feasible to increase the students’ activities and science process skills.Keywords: activities, teaching materials, science process skillsAbstrakMinimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar yang mampu menumbuhkan aktivitas peserta didik menyebabkan keterampilan proses sains belum terlatih. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar dengan model Children Learning in Science (CLIS) yang layak untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Desain bahan ajar ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba ada 30 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui lembar validasi pakar, pengamatan pembelajaran, pengamatan aktivitas dan keterampilan proses peserta didik, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) hasil validasi RPP, materi ajar, LKPD, dan tes hasil belajar berkategori valid, (2) keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori sangat baik, (3) aktivitas dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik berkategori sangat baik. Selain itu, N-gain hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 0,62 berkategori sedang. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa bahan ajar dengan model CLIS adalah layak untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.Kata kunci: aktivitas, kelayakan bahan ajar, keterampilan proses sains

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is an ability that students must have to find or create new things that are useful for student in the learning process. Students with high achievement do not necessarily have high creativity either. This study aims to reveal students creative thinking skills in global warming material based on student achievement. This research method uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The research location was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Jabon, Dukuh Sari Jabon Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques used are tests dan interviews. The subjects in this study were 3 outstanding students in class VIII with ratings 1-3. The results showed that students in rank 1 were creative, students in rank 2 were quite creative, and students in rank 3 were very creative.Keywords: creative thinking ability, global warming material, achievementAbstrakKemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa untuk menemukan atau menciptakan hal baru yang berguna baginya dalam proses belajar. Siswa dengan prestasi yang tinggi belum tentu memiliki kreatifitas yang tinggi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi pemanasan global berdasarkan prestasi siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Jabon, Dukuh Sari Jabon Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni tes dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa berprestasi di kelas VIII dengan peringkat 1-3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa peringkat 1 kreatif, siswa peringkat 2 cukup kreatif, dan siswa peringkat 3 sangat kreatif.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, materi pemanasan global, prestasi

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the feasibility of the learning materials of Sciences with guided inquiry model to instruct student’s critical thinking skills. This research and development used Tessmer method to produce a prototype which was tested up to field test. The feasibility of learning materials is expressed by the validity, practicality, and effectivenees. The validity of learning materials is determined by expert and one to one test. The practicality is determined by the implementation of lesson plan (RPP). The effectiveness is determined by the ability of students to implementing LKPD. The result showed that; (1) the learning materials is valid according to the result of evaluation by expert and one to one test, (2) the learning materials is practically according to the result of implementation of lesson plan is 3,5, and (3) the learning matrials is effective according to the result of implementation of LKPD. Based of descriptive analysis it could be concluded that the learning materials developed are feasible and were able to instruct critical thinking skills of junior high school student. Pengembangan perangkat dilakukan berdasarkan model penelitian pengembangan Tessmer sehingga menghasilkan prototype yang diujikan hingga tahap uji lapangan. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran ditentukan dari hasil validasi oleh pakar dan hasil uji coba perorangan. Kepraktisan ditentukan dari keterlaksanaan RPP. Keefektifan ditentukan dari kemampuan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar dan uji perorangan, (2) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil penilaian keterlaksanaan RPP mencapai skor 3,5, dan (3) perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan kemampuan peserta didik melaksanakan LKPD. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan berpikir kritis

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the static electricity subject matter learning device for junior high school students. Learning tools include syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD, and assessment test. The research model used is the Tessmer development model which consists of five steps, namely: 1) Self evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one to one; 4) small group; and 5) field test. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis to assess the effectiveness of the learning tools. The results showed that the learning tools developed were considered effective as seen from the LKPD results which showed an increasing trend in the indicators of critical skills.Keywords: effectiveness, learning tools, critical thinking skills, static electricityAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran materi pokok listrik statis pada peserta didik SMP. Perangkat pembelajaran meliputi silabus, RPP, materi ajar, LKPD, dan lembar penilaian. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Tessmer yang terdiri atas lima langkah yaitu: 1) Evaluasi diri (self evaluation); 2) pendapat pakar (expert review); 3) uji coba perorangan (one to one); 4) uji coba kelompok kecil (small group); dan 5) uji lapangan (field test). Teknik analisi data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif untuk menilai efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran. Abstract

The conventional learning process can only be implemented in schools, in a pandemic like now, learning that can be carried out remotely according to the rules is learning from home. Teachers are required to take advantage of various technologies to better support the learning process, so that learning is more effective because students can continue to learn even at home. Digital learning is effectively used because students can still access learning material even though they are at home. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of digital learningintegrated local wisdom of student problem solving skills at Teuku Umar Senior High School Semarang on the subject of dynamic fluids. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design using the One-Group method prete st posttest. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMA Teuku Umar Semarang, with a sample of class XI MIPA as the experimental class. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the pre - test and post-test, where there was an increase in student learning outcomes after being given the experimental class treatment using integrate digital learning local wisdom on problem solving skills.Keywords: digital learning, local wisdom, problem solvingAbstrakProses pembelajaran konvensional hanya dapat dilaksanakan di sekolah saja, di masa pandemi seperti sekarang dibutuhkan pembelajaran yang dapat dilaksanakan secara jarak jauh sesuai aturan yaitu belajar dari rumah. Guru dituntut memanfaatkan berbagai teknologi agar lebih menujang proses pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran lebih efektif karena siswa bisa tetap belajar walaupun hanya di rumah. Digital learning efektif digunakan karena siswa tetap dapat mengakses materi pembelajaran walupun mereka berada di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektifitas digital learning terintegrasi kearifan lokal terhadap keterampilan memecahkan masalah siswa di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang pada pembelajaran Fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah quasi-experimental design dengan menggunakan metode one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Teuku Umar Semarang, dengan sampel kelas XI MIPA sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil uji pre-test dan post-tes, dimana adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan perlakukan pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan digital learning terintegrasi kearifan lokal terhadap keterampilan memecahkan masalah.Kata kunci: digital learning, kearifan lokal, memecahkan masalah

Abstract

Teachers still have difficulty practicing critical thinking skills so that learning outcomes and critical thinking skills in science learning are less than optimal. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality of the lesson plans developed using a guided inquiry learning model with the topic of change in form at SMPN 22 Banjarmasin. The method used is development research. The device development model used is the Tessmer model, which includes the stages of self-evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, and field test. The lesson plans developed were syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD, and assessment test. The subjects in the study were students of class VII SMPN 22 Banjarmasin. The results showed that the lesson plan using the guided inquiry model, the topic of change in form was classified as effective, including the learning outcomes of students with a completeness percentage of 76% and had reached the KKM set by the school. Students 'critical thinking skills are categorized as very good, students' psychomotor skills use very good categorized filter papers, characterized behavior includes disciplinary aspects that are very well categorized and aspects of responsibility are very good. Social skills include aspects of working together which are categorized as quite good, aspects of donating ideas are categorized as very good, and spiritual attitudes of gratitude are categorized as very good. Based on the following research results, it can be concluded that the lesson plan tools through design-based research are effective.Keywords: effectiveness, lesson plans tools, guided inquiry, learning outcomes, critical thinking skillsAbstrakGuru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sehingga hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran IPA kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keefektifan kualitas perangkat RPP hasil pengembangan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing topik perubahan wujud di SMPN 22 Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan perangkat yang digunakan adalah model Tessmer, meliputi tahap self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, dan field test. Perangkat RPP yang dikembangkan adalah silabus, RPP, bahan ajar, LKPD, dan lembar penilaian. Subyek dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 22 Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat RPP menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing topik perubahan wujud tergolong efektif meliputi hasil belajar peserta didik dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 76% dan telah mencapai KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah. Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik terkategori sangat baik, keterampilan psikomotor peserta didik menggunakan kertas saring terkategori sangat baik, perilaku berkarakter meliputi aspek disiplin terkategori sangat baik dan aspek tanggung jawab terkategori sangat baik. Keterampilan sosial meliputi aspek bekerja sama terkategori cukup baik, aspek menyumbangkan ide terkategori sangat baik, dan sikap spiritual rasa syukur terkategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berikut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat RPP melalui penelitian berbasis perancangan efektif.Kata kunci: keefektifan, perangkat RPP, inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kritis
