Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior is one of the problems in adolescents. One of the factors causing premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is the role of parental communication patterns. This research was conducted at the Vocational School in September 2019. Researchers wanted to find out the influence of parental communication patterns on premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. The results showed that most students had good communication patterns with their parents by 47.2%, while as many as 56.5 % of students have good premarital behavior. Abstract

Nurses have not fully provided care in accordance with the standards that exist in patients undergoing fixation. This could have happened because there is still a lack of nurses' knowledge about the fixation action. This study aimed to determine the factors relating to the implementation of restraint in patients with violence behavior in the Madani Hospital in Central Sulawesi Province. This research was an analytic study with the cross sectional design. The population in this study were all nurses in the nurses' room in Madani District Hospital, Central Sulawesi Province. Population size = 76 people, and sample size = 43 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Chi-square test. There was a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of nurses with the implementation of restrain in the mental care room of Madani Hospital with p-value of 0.003 and 0.000. There was no correlation between the experience with the implementation of restrain in the mental care room of Madani Hospital with p-value of 1.000. Abstract

Patients who experience shortness of breath will cause discomfort in body function and limited independence, so patients tend to avoid daily physical activities that cause immobilization, the relationship of patients with the social environment decreases. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of diaphragm therapy on the comfort of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The design of this study was one group pre-post test. The population were all patients in the Cempaka pavilion at Jombang Hospital with an average of 26 patients per month. The sample size were 20 respondents, selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaire, then analyzed using Paired Sample T Test. The results showed that before being given diaphragm therapy, 13 respondents (65%) felt uncomfortable and after giving diaphragm therapy, 14 respondents (70%) felt comfortable. Statistical test results with Paired Sample T Test obtained pvalue of 0.035. Conclusion: there is an effect of diaphragm therapy on comfort in patients with COPD. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the provision of stimulation the fine motor development of children aged 4-5 years through the role of active parents in Palang Sub-district, Tuban. The population of this research was all the parents who have children aged 4-5 years in the kindergarten in Palang Sub-district, Tuban, with population size of 300 people. The sample size were 169 respondents. The sample were selected by using proportionate stratified random sampling. The independent variable was the role of parents in stimulation and the dependent variable was the fine motor development of children. Data of the role of parents were collected by using questionnaires and data of fine motor development were collected by using KPSP (development pre-sceening questionnaire). The data were analyzed by logistic regression test. The role of the parents as the model with p-value of 0.662, gives the opportunity to learn with p-value of 0.211; give the opportunity to practice with p-value of 0.222, motivation with p-value of 0.650 and guidance with p-value of 0.063. The 5 variation of the role of parents had no significant effect on the stimulation of smooth motor development of children aged 4-5 years. Abstract

Introduction: Efforts to reduce MMR and IMR include increasing maternal knowledge. One of the government's efforts to improve maternal knowledge is by making a maternal and child health book that can be used as a practical guide to address various health problems, including maternal and child health. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of maternal factors such as age, education, occupation, parity, knowledge, maternal attitudes, ownership of health insurance and family support that affect the use of maternal and child health book (MCH book). Methods: This type of research was cross sectional study, using a questionnaire. The research sample was 170 mothers who had toddlers in Magetan district, using cluster random sampling technique for the sub-district, while for the village, posyandu, and respondents were taken by simple random sampling. Data analysis using Chi square and multiple logistic regression. Result: There was no significant effect between age, education, occupation, parity, ownership of health insurance, maternal attitudes and family support for the behavior of the use of maternal and child health books. Knowledge had a significant effect on the behavior of using maternal and MCH book (p-value = 0.011). Conclusion: Knowledge plays a role in the behavior of using MCH book so that they can contribute to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality. It is necessary to examine further other factors that contribute to the use of MCH book such as maternal motivation, support from health workers, the influence of government policies, and the influence of cadre support with different research designs.
