Abstract

Family planning to spacing or planning the number and distance of pregnancies using contraception. Data on active family planning participants based on the type of contraception at the Pasie Raya Community Health Center in 2019 was 39.4%, there was no increase in the coverage of active KB participants based on the type of contraception in 2018 of 49.4%. The aim is to find out what are the factors that influence the use of family planning program services for women in the working area of ​​the Pasie Raya Community Health Center. This type of research is a combination research (mixed methods research) combining or combining quantitative methods and qualitative methods with Accidental Sampling sampling techniques on 90 samples and 5 informants. Quantitative data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate logistic regression tests. The results of the study showed the influence of knowledge, information sources, culture, family support and support from health workers on the utilization of family planning program services. Based on the multivariate analysis, the support variable for health workers is the dominant variable, while the results of the qualitative analysis on key informants and supporters can be concluded that women have taken advantage of the Kb service program, but most of the women do not understand and understand the benefits that are obtained from the family planning program. The conclusion from the health workers is very important in the utilization of family planning program services. It is recommended that the Health Office conduct more evaluations of family planning services at the Puskesmas. It is necessary to improve the quality of Kb services by including health workers in training.

Abstract

Diabetes exercises are physical exercises designed according to age and physical status and are part of the treatment of diabetes mellitus. When a person does physical exercise in the muscles of the body, the heart system and blood circulation and breathing are activated. Therefore, the body's metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance and acid base must adjust. Muscles will use free fatty acids and glucose as a source of energy or energy. When physical exercise begins glucose originating from muscle-muscled glycogen when physical exercise starts being used as a source of energy. Assessing the effect of the implementation of prolanis exercise activities on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Puskesmas Padangmatinggi in 2019. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design that designs using one group pretest-posttest, when this study was conducted in January-April year 2020. The population in this study were all patients with diabetes mellitus who follow prolanis gymnastics in Padangmatinggipuskesmas with purposive sampling technique, namely the determination of the sample by specifying specific characteristics consisting of 15 intervention / experimental groups and 15 control groups 15 people The results showed that there was an effect of the application of prolanic exercise activities to reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes at Padangmatingi Public Health Center in Padangsidimpuan with a P-Value of 0.007, and there were differences in blood sugar levels in the intervention and control groups with a P. Value of 0,000.

Abstract

Patients in health services have different behaviors in deciding to take advantage of health services. Patients used various considerations to make decisions based on the health products or services for re-treatment. The study aimed to analyze the factors that influence the patient's decision in using health services for re-treatment. This research was quantitative with cross-sectional design and conducted at Tanjung Pura Regional Hospital. The population was 3.946 people, and the sample were 247 respondents taken by using purposive sampling. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression at the 95% confidence level (a= .05). The results showed that the factors that influenced the patient's decision to use health services for re-treatment at the Tanjung Pura Regional Hospital were the service quality of doctors / nurses (p= .000), distance (p=.049), facilities (p=0.000), and service speed (p = .000). The factors that did not influence we age (p=.461). gender (p=.895), education (p=.371), occupation (p=.593). The most dominant factor influencing is facilities with Exp (B)/OR =14.477, meaning that respondents who stated that the hospital facilities were good, had the opportunity to use health services for re-treatment by 14.4 times higher the respondents who stated that the hospital facilities were not good. It is suggested to Tanjung Pura Regional Hospital to propose and allocate a budget for improving hospital facilities that are still lacking and adding new service facilities so that it can increase public confidence for repeat treatment

Abstract

Administering outpatient medical records is required to provide excellent service to create patient satisfaction, especially with short waiting times. The purpose of this study was to determine how the factors that influence the waiting time for outpatient medical record services at Sundari Hospital, Medan.This type of research is descriptive analytic with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study consisted of 7 people, namely 4 registration officers and 3 patients who made outpatient visits. The data analysis used descriptive qualitative and the validity of the data used was data triangulation. The results show that the waiting time for outpatient medical record services for patients who register manually is longer than 60 minutes, the SOP for outpatient registration services has been implemented, it's just not done perfectly, Human resources in outpatient medical record services Sundari Hospital does not match educational qualifications, the facilities available in the outpatient medical record service at Sundari Hospital are incomplete, the technology has not been running well because the bridging system and administrative requirements for outpatients are not in accordance with Permenkes No. 28 of 2014.It is recommended that Sundari General Hospital be able to implement the requirements for outpatient administration in accordance with Permenkes No. 28/2014 and be able to implement a bridging system in outpatient services so that services can be carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Public health emergencies can occur imported i.e. the source of the emergency comes from outside the region and the epicenter is the source of the emergency comes from the work area. Both conditions can arise in unpredictable situations so that the ability of the government and stakeholders in preventing, detect early to detect, handle cases as early as possible to response will affect the extent of the magnitude of emergency event sand post-event handling. Readiness surveillance device in the face of the influx of infectious diseases. Early detection efforts are carried out by detecting events through examination and screening, information and Verification of passengers, transport and disease risk factors. This type of research is Descriptive with the aim to know the evaluation of the implementation of PHEIC to the performance of Class I Medan Port Health Office in 2020, based on respondent answers. The population is all quarantine officers in the working area of Class I MPA Medan as many as 58 respondents, sampling using total sampling. The result of research shows that based on respondent answers obtained PHEIC implementation with employee discipline obtained there is still no timely out hours of work and never reprimanded directly by superiors, while supervision is still less than the leadership is more considered objectively and thoroughly, work activities organized together in teams not individually. It is recommended to all employees to enforce discipline, especially at work hours and the need for effective staffing in improving employee performance as well as working based on a predetermined team work.

Abstract

In the implementation of the National Health Insurance there are still many problems that arise, one of which is of concern is the tariff for Indonesian Case Based Groups (INA-CBGs). The government is very likely to realize that there is a mismatch between INA-CBGs rates and hospital real costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in hospital rates and INA-CBGs rates for outpatient services at the Urology Poly at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital in January 2019.This type of research is cross sectional with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all medical record files of outpatient poly urology who underwent treatment at the Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital in January 2019. The total sample technique was 310 people.The Wilcoxon test results obtained that the A-Symp Sig (2-tailed) value was 0,000, which means that there is a significant difference between the hospital rate and the INA-CBG outpatient service Urology Poly at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital in January 2019. The conclusion in this study is the difference between the hospital rates and the INA-CBG package rates on the payment of outpatient JKN participant claims at Mitra Medika Hospital lies in the standard rates applied. It is expected that the hospital staff can evaluate the calculation of unit costs for each service unit service. Outpatient care, especially in the poly urology service division, which experienced a negative rate difference so that the hospital suffered a loss.

Abstract

Surgery is a form of therapy that can threaten the integrity of a person's body and soul. The psychological response that usually occurs in preoperative patients is anxiety. Anxiety is an emotional reaction to subjective individual judgment, which is influenced by the subconscious and the cause is not specifically known. Type of research is quantitative and qualitative research (method mixed). This research was conducted at DR. R.M Djoelham general hospital Binjai. Qualitative population of surgeons, anesthetists and nurses at RSUD DR. RM Djoelham Binjai, samples obtained by Purposive Sampling as many as 33 people. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate (Chi Square), Multivariate (logistic regression). Based on these results it is concluded that there is a relationship between providing information, consultation and education on patient anxiety. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis, it is found that there is a relationship in the dimension of Information Giver has a value of p (sig) 0.037, consultation (sig) 0.005, education p (sig) 0,002. The concluded that there is a relationship between providing information, consultation and education on patient anxiety. Based on the results of interviews from informants, it was found that the provision of information, consultation and education before or after the operation had been implemented, both DPJP doctors, anesthetists and nursing staff.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of evaluation by the head of the room on the performance of nurses in the inpatient room of RSU Hajj Medan in 2020. This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional design. The results of the study found that the effect of behavior evaluation on nurse performance showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The effect of the evaluation of professional abilities on the performance of nurses shows a significance value of 0.417 (p> 0.05). The effect of the evaluation of the nursing process on the performance of nurses shows a significance value of 0.006 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of behavior evaluation and nursing process by the head of the room on the performance of nurses in the inpatient room of RSU Hajj Medan in 2020. Evaluation of professional abilities does not have a significant effect on the performance of nurses. The most influential variable is the behavior with the highest coefficient value, amounting to 0.512 with a positive value. The head of the room is expected to optimize his role in evaluating programmed, scheduled, and in accordance with the standards and principles of implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality on patient satisfaction in the hospital room for the Level II Military area health Medan in 2020. The research design used in this study was an analytic survey with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all patients in the Internal Medicine Room of hospital Level II Military area health Medan as many as 167 people. The number of samples that will be studied is 118 people. Data analysis was performed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyzes. The statistical test used was the chi square test and logistic regression.The results of the chi square test showed that the technical competence variable obtained p-value = 0,000, efficiency p-value = 0,000, and patient safety p-value = 0,000 < α 0.05, meaning that there was an influence between technical competence, efficiency and Patient safety on patient satisfaction, from the results of the multivariate analysis, it was found that the most influential variable in this study was the patient safety variable. The conclusion is that there is an influence between technical competence, efficiency and patient safety, while multivariate analysis shows that the most dominant factor is the variable of patient safety on family satisfaction. It is recommended that the hospital be able to improve the technical competence of nurses in the inpatient room of the Public Health Service in Medan by holding training and workshops both internal and external training.

Abstract

A study conducted by the Directorate of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (2011) found that the nursing services provided by nurses to patients had not reached the set target, namely a minimum figure of 75% of the nurse's performance was said to be good.This type of research is quantitative, with adesign cross-sectional which aims to see the effect of headroom supervision on the performance of nurses in the inpatient room of the General Hospital Hajj Medan in 2020. The sampling technique used is proportioanl stratified random. sampling. Data collection using primary data by distributing questionnaires to the nurse administrators and secondary data obtained from the hospital, namely the hospital profile. Data analysis used Chi square test (α = 0.05) and multiple linear regression.The results showed that the variables that influence the performance of nurses are planning (p = 0.000), guiding (p = 0.045), monitoring (p = 0.000), evaluation (p = 0.002), recording and reporting (p = 0.000). The variables that did not affect the nurse's performance were organizing (p = 0.382) and directing (p = 0.065). In conclusion, the most influential variable is recording and reporting with the highest coefficient value, amounting to 1.674 with a positive value. It is recommended that the head of the room carry out supervision in a programmed, scheduled manner, in accordance with the standards and principles of its implementation and optimize recording and reporting in supervision activities.
