Abstract

Sidoarjo Regency is one of the megapolitan Gerbang Kertosusilo. The planted area during the rainy season and dry season reaches 30,000 ha. The area of paddy fields continues to decline, namely 26,334 ha (2002), 22,460 ha (2010), and an estimated 13,544 ha (2009–2029). Sidoarjo Regency Irrigation Service as executor of irrigation management is of course inseparable from construction project activities. In the implementation of the construction of new irrigation networks as well as in rehabilitation and maintenance, it is necessary to implement project management. Before the project is implemented, it must first be submitted through proposals from the village level. In following up the proposal the writer used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis method. With four aspects that affect the determination of the proposal: The results of the analysis obtained the weight of each criterion as follows: Service Area (ha) 0.3179, Cost 0.3159, Benefits 0.3217, and Network Conditions 0.0445. The results of the above analysis obtained priority ranking from the first to the last sequence as follows: Plengsengan Gedangrowo Channel, Normalization of Reform Channels, Installation of floodgates, Plengsengan ChannelsDs. Suwaluh, Rehabilitation of Ketawang Canal Kec. Sukodono, Rehabilitation of Candi Subdistrict Channel, Plengsengan Channel Ds. Suwaluh, Plengsengan Channels Purboyo II Ds. Popoh, Plengsengan Irrigation Channels Dsn. Kesimbuk, Plengsengan Channel Mangetan Kanal.

Abstract

The level of society’s awareness on education is very high. The society’s enthusiasm to take a higher education is enormous. Every year the society’s interest in joining Hasyim Asy'ari University of Tebuireng Jombang is increasing. For this reason, Hasyim Asy'ari University of Tebuireng Jombang plans to add the classes by constructing new buildings that can accommodate more students each year. Every construction certainly has a risk. To anticipate this, a feasibility study is carried out at the early stages of construction planning so that later the construction runs well. There are three methods used to analyze investment feasibility, namely, Net Present Value (NPV) method, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) method and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) method. Besides using those methods, the payback period for the building construction project of Hasyim Asy'ari University of Tebuireng Jombang is also calculated. Based on the results of the analysis conducted, it was found that the construction of Hasyim Asy'ari University of Tebuireng Jombang was feasible to be carried out referring to the NPV and B/C values which were higher than one and the IRR value was higher than MARR and the payback period was for 7 years and 5 months. Thus, the investment project is declared feasible to proceed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the resource management factors that affect labor productivity as well as the dominant factors, with research sites on construction projects in eastern Indonesia, particularly in East Nusa Tenggara. This research is aimed at construction workers, such as masons, chief craftsmen, foremen, and workers. This study uses a survey method. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire, then formulated and processed. Data processing in the form of respondents' opinions and attitudes towards problems that exist in construction projects related to productivity, data analysis techniques use factor analysis methods and multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS statistical program. Results of processing and discussion of data, it is found that : (A) Human Resource Management Factors that affect Labor Productivity in several construction projects in East Nusa Tenggara are About Age, X1, about Work Experience, X2, Level of Education, X3,  about Wages, X4, Total Family Count, X5, Working Health and Safety, X6, Relationship Workers, X7, about Managerial, X8, and about Influential Motivations, X9, together form the equation Y = 12,776 – 0,217.X1 + 0,151.X2 – 0,087.X3 - 0,074.X4 - 0,263.X5 - 0,468X6 - 0,058.X7 + 0,129.X8 + 0,384.X9 .    (B)  The dominant factors affecting respectively are the Occupational Health & Safety of Workers, X6, Subject to the Number of Dependents in the Family, X5, and Subjects of Motivation, X9.

Abstract

Jendral Soeharto street is one of the streets in Kupang. On this street, traffic jams often occur during peak hours. This study aims to determine the capacity and performance of existing traffic on Jalan Jendral Suharto. This study was analyzed using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI2014). Traffic performance analysis begins by calculating traffic flow at peak hours, road side friction, road capacity, degree of saturation, and analysis of space mean speed. The results of the traffic performance analysis show that the degree of saturation (DS) or v/c ratio in the existing conditions has a value of > 0.75, which is 0.98.

Abstract

This research is intended to determine the performance of the tools in the sprinkler irrigation system using controls (android). This activity was carried out in an experimental garden in the laboratory Enviro-Hydro of the Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, University of Islamic Malang, covering an area of 80 m². There are two variables used as a reference for sprinkler performance, namely automatic and manual with each valve opening 45°-90°, on 4 sprinklers installed on the land with a distance of 1 m each other. Water flows from 2 tadons that are placed parallel. The method used to analyze the data using the T test which compares the observation results of water distribution from automatic and manual sprinkler openings. The results of measuring the distribution of automatic and manual sprinkler water show that the results are not much different, only a difference of 1% so that the performance of both automatic and manual sprinklers has not different results.

Abstract

The EBF structural system is identified by the use of bracing and link beams as components that work to receive lateral seismic loads. The position of the link beam makes the EBF system have several choices of bracing configuration; D-Braces, Split K-Braces, V-Braces, Split K & Inverted Split K-Braces, Inverted Y-Braces. Structural analysis was carried out on a 10-story building model for the EBF system with different type of bracing configurations using the ETABS software. All models analyzed according to Indonesian Code (SNI 1729:2015 and SNI 1726:2019) to obtain the structural element. Seismic analysis uses the response spectrum analysis method to obtain the structural response parameters in the EBF system. Result of the analysis for all of bracing configuration are shown that Split K-Braces model has the best response parameters when compared to the MRF system. The  lowest value for the parameter is owned by Inverted Y-Braces, although overall it is still larger than the MRF system. The bracing configuration greatly affects the response of EBF system due to the behavior that occurs in the link beam, therefore the selection for type of bracing configuration is also important in the EBF system structure design.
