Abstract

The use of Arduino-Based floodgates aims to address the issue of flooding. The goal of this research was to create a system that could monitor water levels and control floodgatesUltrasonic sensor was used to measure water level, as the water level becomes the indicator to open and close the floodgates. The ultrasonic sensor is mounted on the dam and measures the distance between the water’s surface and the sensor transmitter. The results of the measurement of the water level are used to control the floodgates. Sensor measurement results are not always valid, given the age of the sensor and the terrain around the dam is quite challenging. The self-check sensor feature is introduced in this study as a way to overcome detection faults in the system, where ultrasonic sensors can perform self-monitoring by relying solely on their neighbours. In general, the process is carried out in four stages, starting from the stage of reading the sensor, the stage transmitting and receiving data from the Arduino, the stage of detecting sensor’s value, the stage of displaying the sensor values. At the stage of displaying the sensor value, there are four water level conditions, normal, waspada, siaga and bahaya. According to the test results, incorporating self-check sensors into the system enables for more efficient Arduino-based sluice control systems, as well as the possibility of detecting malfunctions caused by sensor damage

Abstract

This study aims to create a parking payment system that is easier to use, users do not need to use cash for the payment process and overcome queues that often occur at the parking gate and also make it easier for the manager to manage parking payments. The method used in this re-search is Literature Study, Field study where in the field study requires hardware and software. This research was carried out at Suzuya Mall Bireuen using a qualitative method where the system was created to facilitate the parking payment process, where users simply use an inte-grated RFID tag card and have been given a balance to make the payment process so that the payment process does not need to use cash and can overcome the queue in the parking lot, in this case the user can also refill the balance so that the balance in the RFID tag card can in-crease and can be reused for payment processing

Abstract

[Detection of Human Emotion Recognition using Hidden Markov Model and Bidirectional Associative Memory with voice] A person's emotional control system through voice can use the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) algorithm. However, to see if the performance of the HMM algorithm in the application system is optimal or not, a comparison is needed in order to obtain maximum results. Therefore, the researchers performed the performance of recognizing a person's emotions using the HMM algorithm and the Bidirectional Associative Memory (BAM) algorithm through voice. The Hidden Markov Model (HMM) consists of a Markov chain in the first part that hides the state, therefore the internal behavior of the model remains invisible. While the BAM algorithm can process incomplete input, because of the reciprocal relationship between the output layer to the input layer. In the BAM algorithm, the value of the test sound and the value of the training voice sample obtained will be searched for the vector value using a weight value search which is done by changing the binary matrix into a bipolar matrix. In this study, we will create an application system that can detect sounds in the form of angry, happy, and neutral emotions. And the database used is the sound of film recordings. This research was conducted to produce a system that can recognize the probability of emotions in the angry, happy and neutral categories, namely by showing the performance of the two methods so that we can find out which method produces the maximum output.

Abstract

Procurement of goods and services at Almuslim University is a procurement activity that is financed with development costs or grants from the government, whether carried out independently or by providers of goods. Inventory of goods is a step to carry out data collection and management of assets belonging to Almuslim University as assets. This information system was developed for the management of Almuslim University inventory data where goods are imported and goods are sent out. Information systems in an organization are usually developed to facilitate the management of data that can be obtained, costs for procurement, processing and storage and so on. A computer-based information system is usually used to reduce management costs while increasing the capabilities and performance of information systems. Abstract

Salah satu bidang teknologi komputer yang saat ini berkembang pesat adalah bidang multimedia. Multimedia merupakan teknologi yang menggabungkan text, gambar, audio, video dan animasi dalam menyajikan informasi. Berbeda dengan teknologi informasi yang hanya menyajikan informasi berupa text dan huruf. Salah satu teknologi multimedia ang sedang berkembang dan banyak digunakan dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan masyarakat adalah teknologi 3D. Saat ini teknologi 3D banyak diterapkan dalam film kartun seperti Upin dan Ipin. Namun dalam proses produksinya, film kartun berbasis 3 Dimensi masih ditemukan berbagai kendala, salah satunya adalah waktu produksi yang lama yang diakibatkan dari tahapan proses mulai dari pembuatan model hingga proses animate. Dalam penelitian ini membahas teknik rigging menggunakan controller yang dapat digunakan dalam mempersingkat waktu proses produksi film animasi berbasis 3 Dimensi. Controller rigging yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk menganimasikan ekspresi yang ada pada karakter 3D Upin dan Ipin mencakup ekspresi senang, sedih, marah, takut dan terkejut. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan yaitu dengan menggunakan controller rigging, waktu proses penganimasian ekspresi karakter 3D lebih cepat 8 kali dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan controller rigging

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country with the majority of the population working as farmers and owning agricultural land of 13% of the country's total area. The main commodity of Indonesian agriculture is rice, because this plant is a food crop that produces rice as the staple food of the community. Based on the data collected, it is noted that there are frequent fluctuations in the total rice harvest each year. This is caused by various factors, ranging from the lack of agricultural land compared to population growth, conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land, to the biggest problem, namely pests and diseases that attack rice plants. Disease problems in rice plants have caused many cases of crop failure that have occurred in all parts of Indonesia. With the development of technology, this research developed a system for detecting rice plant diseases based on artificial intelligence and an expert system. Farmers simply use their gadgets to diagnose diseases independently without having to involve experts directly, but of course with the same optimal results as expert diagnoses. The method used is the ESDLC (Expert System Development Life Cycle) method which consists of assessment, expert knowledge mapping, design and testing. The results obtained in this study are the existence of an application for detecting rice plant diseases based on artificial intelligence using an expert system method that can be used by farmers to diagnose rice plant diseases independently without having to meet directly with experts

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world over the past 2 years has changed the paradigm and behavior of people, no matter what in Indonesia. Various policies implemented by the government in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is by implementing health protocols such as maintaining distance, washing hands and wearing masks. In addition, the government has also implemented a policy to study from home, where the policy is considered to have an impact on reducing the number of positive cases of Covid-19. However, the authors assess that this policy has not had a maximum impact, because administratively it is still not supported by the application of technology that is able to apply the Less Contact concept. In this study, a lecturer attendance system was developed using Web-based RFID as a system that can support the administration of higher education that is Less Contact. The result is that the attendance system that has been tested is considered capable of supporting health protocols in universities because lecturers can input attendance by attaching an RFID-based ID Card without having to crowd in queues to fill out the attendance list and use the same pen together as in the old system which is very expensive. at risk of transmitting the virus between fellow lecturers

Abstract

This Information System aims to promote tourist attractions in Aceh Province. The information system is designed to be web-based whose media has elements of text, images, animations and even sound. These elements make this media interesting. In addition, this web-based information system has become a medium that has quite complete information for tourists that can be viewed any time needed. The design of this system cannot be separated from the aspects of design and technology in the manufacturing process. Like other information media, the success of this media is also determined by the success in delivering information. The research method is collecting data through literature studies, interviews, and observations, as well as analyzing software requirements, building databases with MySQL, designing interfaces using Photoshop and PHP, conducting program testing as the final stage in making a web-based tourism information system. In the Design of Web-Based Tourism Information System, there is a procedural process carried out to collect data. The data collection used is observation related to tourism objects in Aceh Province. In addition to observations, unstructured interviews were also carried out, where interviews were conducted freely, not using interview guidelines systematically, besides that the data in this design were data on tourism obtained from books, brochures, and browsing on the internet. The results of the design are in the form of a web-based tourism information system which is expected to be a medium that can promote tourism objects in Aceh
