Abstract

Intercultural communication develops based on two interconnected premises. First, you live in a time when changing technology, travel, economic and political systems, immigration patterns, and population density have resulted in a world in which you regularly interact with people from different cultures. Second, nowadays, people are very sensitive to the fact that the influence of culture on communication is very close and great. Your cultural background and experience help you determine how the world should be for you and how you will interact with it. Anthropological perspective in intercultural communication is looking at intercultural communication from an anthropological point of view, because the communication already contains cultural values. Intercultural communication is part of the marriage between the disciplines of anthropology and communication which later became a separate discipline both in communication science and in anthropology. Anthropology is one of the fields of science that is the root or foundation of the birth of communication science. In subsequent developments, cultural experts realized the importance of communication in the cultural field.

Abstract

Interpersonal skill (interpersonal ability) is the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to one's feelings, attitudes and behavior, motivations and desires. This ability is very necessary because in everyday life it is almost impossible for humans not to relate to other people. In the scheme of living together arises the need to understand the needs of other human beings. Good and effective interpersonal communication skills are needed by humans so that they can carry out all their activities smoothly. Especially when someone performs activities in formal situations, for example in a work environment. More importantly, when a person's work activities are face-to-face with other people, most of the activities are interpersonal communication activities

Abstract

In a business, communication is one of the important factors in the success of business achievement. The purpose of this study was to find out how to analyze communication well. This research method uses qualitative research methods, namely research that emphasizes understanding the problem through disclosure of facts obtained through interview and observation data. The result of this research is an understanding of how to communicate well. The conclusion obtained through this analysis is the process of exchanging messages or information to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of work products in organizational structures and systems. In business communication activities, messages should not only be informative, but must also be persuasive, so that other parties are willing to accept an understanding or belief or perform an act or activity.

Abstract

Team building is a group of individuals who have a common goal to be achieved. And to achieve this goal, good cooperation is needed, sharing feelings, mutual respect and mutual encouragement among group members. Several things that affect the formation of groups, among others, are the existence of communication, motivation, being able to manage conflict, competition and cooperation. Cooperation is a means and a sign related to the quality of the group as a gathering place for people in an organization. In building group cooperation, mutual trust, openness or transparency, self-realization or self-realization and interdependence are needed.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication can be defined as the ability to connect between humans as a form of verbal communication. Interpersonal communication can also be used to help build relationships with other people in different situations. Attitudes such as eye contact, body movements and hand gestures are also part of interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication involves eye-to-eye communication in an appropriate and purposeful manner. The language used in the interpersonal communication process can describe communication patterns, management, personality and actions. Therefore, expertise in the use of language and interpersonal communication can help a person to better understand social situations and act and solve problems in accordance with existing environmental conditions.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dan strategis dalam sebuah lembaga atau organisasi, apalagi lembaga pendidikan yang didalam nya ada aktifitas untuk membangun dan mengembangkan sumberdaya manusia. Islam sebagai agama yang sempurna dan universal memiliki perhatian yang serius dan mendalam terhadap tema kepemimpinan ini. Bahkan istilah-istilah kepemimpinan dalam islam diungkapkan dengan hal yang berbeda-beda. Abstract

This study aims to determine the persuasive da'wah communication strategy of Kak Syaf and Chiko by using the story telling method. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The theory used is reinforcement theory by Hovlan, Janis and Kelly in 1976. The results of this research are Kak Syaf's da'wah communication strategy using story telling focusing on three strategic stages, namely: (1) namely attracting mad'u's attention by playing music that is friendly to them after the music is played, dolls are presented which are used as media for Kak Syaf's da'wah named Chiko. (2) given religious understanding using the story telling method or fairy tales and then reinforced with games that support the da'wah messages conveyed, after that strategy (3) namely the acceptance stage by making a good impression that leaves an impression on children, one of the ways is to issue a magic book in the book there is a gift that has been prepared. Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the extent to which mainstream news influences perceptions and the spread of radicalism in society, especially through online platforms. It covers several aspects: 1. Analyzing the impact of digital media on the spread of radicalism aims to understand how digital media affects the dissemination of extreme views and radicalism in society. 2. Identifying factors causing bias in mainstream media reporting to identify the factors that contribute to bias in mainstream media related to radicalism issues. 3. Investigating the influence of bias in reporting on public opinion explores how bias in mainstream media can affect public opinion and perceptions of groups related to radicalism .4. Seeking solutions or recommendations to address bias in reporting and radicalism identifies problems and seeks policy solutions or recommendations that can reduce bias in mainstream media reporting and address the spread of radicalism through digital media. 5. Contributing to understanding how digital and mainstream media play roles in the dissemination of radical information and enhancing public criticism of received information. 6. Encouraging changes in media behavior and practices in presenting news to be more accurate, balanced, and responsible in addressing issues of radicalism. This study uses content analysis to examine how mainstream media report on issues related to radicalism. Findings indicate that mainstream media tends to reinforce stereotypes and narratives that worsen perceptions of certain groups, which can increase societal polarization and support radical agendas.The conclusions is the emphasis on bias in mainstream media reporting in the context of radicalism underscores the importance of greater media criticism and the need for regulation that considers the social impact of information conveyed by digital media. The implications of this research highlight the importance of prudent handling of digital media to prevent the spread of radicalism and promote healthy and inclusive dialogue in society.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of da'wah literacy in understanding gender equality on social media. The aim is to analyze da'wah literacy on the Instagram account @mujadalah.id related to the understanding of gender equality among users. The research method used is a content analysis study and content study to analyze posts related to gender equality. Research findings show that da'wah content on Instagram @mujadalah.id contributes to increasing awareness and understanding of gender equality. User response to the content varied, with most being supportive. This research also identifies challenges and opportunities in using social media as a means of preaching about gender equality, as well as the importance of education and ongoing dialogue to strengthen understanding and overcome stereotypes and prejudice that may arise. The results of this research can provide valuable insights for the development of communication strategies that are more effective and responsive to users' understanding and needs in the context of gender equality.
