<![CDATA[This study aims to determine how to use Habib Jafar podcasts as a medium of Islamic information among a society. By using qualitative research methods with descriptive types, researchers conducted interviews with informants related to the research.The results show that the existing technology makes it easier for people to find information, especially religious information. Currently, people use podcasts, especially the Habib Jafar podcast as a medium for seeking Islamic information Just like other media, the use of podcasts brings positive and negative impacts for its users. but society must still be able to sort out the information that will be absorbed from the use of podcasts.]]>

<![CDATA[Information is the main element that is implicit in the concept of planned development. Although the role of information has been underappreciated for decades, in fact the need for communication and information is something that is no less important than the need for human food and clothing. Implementation activities can only run and achieve targets at each stage of monitoring and planning on the basis of adequate information. Furthermore, information can be obtained from a communication but it is actually the one that affects the value of the communication that is the information carried. For the information revolution, it is generally understood as a change that is derived from IT (information technology). There are two types of communication technology for humans, namely the technology used to disseminate information and the computer system used to process it. Let's say revolution because it can have such a rapid impact on the human environment. Then the basic factors contained in communication and information technology are standards. The development of the network really requires a standard operating system. If someone uses a network to be able to communicate with someone, actually indirectly requires a system that is compatible with one another. the relationship between networks, standards and systems such as glue to develop communication between people. As for technology, it can have some positive or negative effects, but it is related to the problems and dynamics of increasing advanced technology, therefore each individual and society in a country can be the master of technology and vice versa become a society that is controlled and controlled by technology. <![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the information-seeking needs and behavior of UINSU students in the realm of libraries, to find out the pattern behind UINSU students in searching for library information, to find out the effects/responses that occur on UINSU students in seeking information. This research uses qualitative research with field research. Qualitative research is research that does not use calculations. This qualitative research on the meaning, reasoning, definition of certain situations (in certain contexts). The qualitative approach is more on the process than the end result. Therefore, the sequence of activities may change at any time, depending on the circumstances and the number of symptoms observed. This research results that UINSU students need information sources such as book research journals, resource persons, and also the internet in searching for information, and UINSU students will look for information in other university libraries, and Regional Libraries if the information needed cannot be found in the UINSU Library and visit the reading room and thesis room in search of information. <![CDATA[Library collaboration originally involved collaboration between 2 (two) libraries or more regardless of whether the collaboration used computer assistance or telecommunications facilities or not. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Qualitative method is a type of research that aims to comprehensively understand the phenomena experienced by the object of research, such as behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions, etc., through a special natural context. through specific natural contexts, and descriptions in scientific language and methods. This research concludes that collaboration between UMA and UNIMED libraries is the right and strategic thing to advance the library between the two. This collaboration aims to improve institutional relations between the two parties in carrying out educational, research and community service activities, library development, and other matters that have been mutually agreed upon. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the behavior in searching for user information in meeting the information needs of the UINSU Tuntungan library, to determine the behavior pattern in searching for user information in meeting information needs at the UINSU Tuntungan library, to find out the obstacles that occur in searching for user information in an effort to fulfill information needs of the UINSU Tuntungan library. This research uses the type of qualitative research that requires as much information and data as possible to achieve the research objectives. This type of research is a case study because this research is carried out in depth on an institution and with a narrow subject. As a case study, the data collected came from various library sources. This study resulted that in order to determine the behavior of the user before searching for information, the researcher conducted interviews with several informants who were considered to be able to provide information to the researcher. There are several stages that can be used by users in finding information in the library. In conducting information search there are 6 stages developed by Kuhlthau, namely initiation, selection, exploration, formulation, collection and presentation. <![CDATA[This study aims to find out how the cooperation network of foreign libraries in general is, to find out how the concept of cooperation network for foreign libraries is, and to find out what aspects of the constraints that occur in the process of networking cooperation for foreign libraries. The type of research used in this research is library research or library research, namely research conducted through collecting data or scientific writings that aim at research objects or data collection that is library in nature, or studies that are carried out to solve a problem that basically focuses on on a critical and in-depth review of relevant library materials. This research resulted that the collaboration and library network between foreign libraries that have been carried out so far have placed more emphasis on culture where this is due to the existence of cultural similarities (cognate) so that the collaboration that has been carried out is more focused on identifying and maintaining sources of information on Bornean culture. <![CDATA[The Community Reading Center is a facility organized by the government and the community to provide information and reading opportunities, and is an ideal place for the community to play and learn to read. If you wish, the Forhati Reading Gardens collection can be borrowed, but there are conditions for borrowing books. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the Forhati Community Reading Center has experienced an increase. This is the goal, because the Forhati Medan Community Reading Center already has a very large number of books. This study uses qualitative research methods with primary data and interviews. The survey results show that Forhati Reading Center has a collection of Forhati City Reading Center, a large collection of picture books, textbooks, dictionaries, etc. for visitors and is doing well by providing a collection of available books. <![CDATA[In this study, library users were used as a source and the survey subjects were information seeking behavior at the UISU Medan Library lending and borrowing service, which also included the initiation, chaining, tracking, sorting, monitoring, selection and confirmation phases as well as the termination phases such as restrictions and occupancy factors. The purpose of this research is to find out how users search for information. The method used in this study is a qualitative method in which the collected data is compiled and analyzed. With this method, user behavior in the process of searching for information at the UISU Medan library loan service is described and analyzed. The results of the study show that the search for information in the UISU library is very flexible due to the different scope and research objectives and the information needs of each user of the UISU library. In the UISU library lending service, it is necessary to renew the user's ability to search for information, so that readers' views of various sources of information and information retrieval are better and more accurate.
