Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a phonocardiograph system to display the signal and information form of the human heart sound examination. The analytical method applied is to use the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to determine the frequency of responses of human heart sound signals by using Labview software. The results obtained indicate the system able to display the signal shape of the heart sound, based on ten respondents whose data are taken shows the range of heart sound frequencies is in the range of 145 to 225 Hz with a duration of 81 to 120 bpm. Keywords: Phonocardiograph, FFT, Labview

Abstract

The control of household electronic equipment can now be done remotely using a website, or better known as the smart home controller application to reduce waste of electricity usage. The electronic equipment that is controlled changes the lights and sockets. This electronic equipment controller website is made with the Laravel framework which uses the PHP 5.8 programming language which is closed, therefore a connection is made with the REST API that uses the Javascript programming language to bridge the communication between electronic equipment and the website. Delivery of data between the website and components requires a server and broker to broker data paths. Thus MQTT is needed as a means of exchanging data on the hardware side so it requires a gateway in the form of Node Js to connect PHP with MQTT. Test results are done by testing the speed of the lights using various internet connection media. The test results showed the fastest internet connection media, namely using a laptop connected to a WiFi internet network with an average speed of 0.691 seconds. The smart home controller website named Pantaw can be accessed using the UGM hotspot WiFi network. Keywords: Website, smarthome, MQTT, Laravel, Node Js.

Abstract

In electrical engineering, there are several power terms; active power, reactive power, instantaneous active power, instantaneous active power, instantaneous power, apparent power and complex power. Even though are used in daily activity, electrical practitioners are facing difficulty to explain those terms practically. This paper tries to solve those difficulty by interpret those term in practical way. Firstly, each power term are defined theoretically. Then those terms are presented mathematically. Next, power in single phase sinusoidal electric network is analyzed. Theoretical definition result is connected with power analysis result. Computer simulations are held to strengthen interpretation result. Considering the width of discussion area, this paper only covers most general application, that is single phase sinusoidal network.

Abstract

Smart Home is one of the popular technological advances and developed by researchers or academics because of its high potential to be implemented in various fields. Smart Home is an Internet of Things based technology, which means that by connecting to the internet everyone can connect whenever and wherever they are. With the presence of smart home, it can simplify human problems and limitations. This paper describes the design and prototype of smart Home based on Internet of Things Applications on Android. There is an android application that functions to control and monitor the smart home. By using NodeMCU, is used as a line communication device between users and smartphones. The use of databases in Firebase makes the data on the smart home always real-time active because it is connected to Google servers. We also develop an android application; thus smart home can be controlled by its owner. Keywords: Smart Home, Internet of Thing, Android, Firebase.

Abstract

UAV formation is one of techology development in UAV world. The UAV formation can be utilized in various fields including agriculture, mapping and defense security (HANKAM). Communication is one of the important components in making UAV formations. To make UAV formations, position and direction data (AHRS) from each UAV will be sent to other UAVs so that when forming UAV formation, no collisions occur between UAVs. This study uses a star topology like the one on a computer network. This method involves two or more UAVs, both of which will exchange data. In this study the data sent is in the form of a dummy data package using the xbee module. The purpose of this study is the initial model of communication between UAVs which can later be developed into more complex communication models for many UAVs. The results obtained in the form of maximum communication distance between UAVs is 50m and the recommended optimal distance is 10-20m.
