Abstract

This research aims to know the level and the correlation between self concept and moral behavior of early childhood at Pertiwi Kindegarten Sungai Pakning Village Bengkalis Regency. The samples of this research were all kids age 5 – 6 years old at Pertiwi Kindegarten Sungai Pakning Village Bengkali Regency total 54 kids. The method used was Pearson Product Moment Correlation to see the correlation between self concept variable and moral behavior. The technique of data collection was observation sheet. The technique of data analysis was by using Pearson Product Moment correlational technique. From the research results, it can be recognized that the level of self concept of kids is in high category with percentage score 51,85% and the level of kids’ moral behavior is at medium category with percentage score 55,55%. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it obtains the value of correlational coefficient is in the amount of rxy = 0,837 bigger than rtable = 0,268 (0,837 > 0.268) with significance level 0,000 < 0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is correlation between self concept and moral behavior. The level of the correlation is in extremely high category with the value of determinant coefficient generated is 70% then it can be recognized that self concept gives contribution 70% towards moral behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) Method to improve the learning outcomes of science in class VIII A students at SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Learning outcomes give a very important role for students in improving achievement to be more beneficial. Learning outcomes can be seen from cognitive abilities, affective, psychomotor. This research uses classroom action research methods. The research instrument consisted of tests and non-tests. the results of research and discussion shows the Think Pair Share method can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. This can be seen in cycle I students who reached 82% while students who did not complete reached 18% and the Think Pair Share method can also increase student enthusiasm in learning so that the classroom atmosphere when teaching and learning process becomes more lively. It is recommended to science teachers who will try the TPS method by adding variations and do not make the achievement of teaching materials and time as the main benchmark but make student understanding as the main goal of the success of group discussions and other researchers can investigate further with deeper discussion for example in the field other studies or other levels of education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Tapung Hilir. Rumusan masalahnya adalah apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Tapung Hilir? Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah : jika diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together maka dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Tapung Hilir. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak III suklus. Persentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I adalah 66,7% (kategori : baik), pada siklus II adalah 83,3% (kategori : amat baik) dan pada silus III adalah 93,8% (kategori: amat baik). Sedangkan persentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 51,4% (kategori : cukup), pada siklus II adalah 64,9% (kategori : baik) dan pada siklus III adalah 83,9% (kategori : amat baik). Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan penelitian. Rerata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Rerata hasil belajar siswa pada skor dasar adalah 60,1, pada siklus I 69,2, pada siklus II 75,2 dan pada siklus III 84,3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 tapung Hilir.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan hasil belajar IPS melalui metode diskusi dengan bantuan media gambar pada siswa kelas IX B SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Jenis penelitian yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Ada empat tahapan dalam penelitian tindakan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi, sedangkan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan  kelas ini adalah siswa kelas IX B SMP N 4 Tapung Hilir dengan jumlah siswa yang diteliti sebanyak 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 siswa dan 14 siswi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode diskusi dengan bantuan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa kelas IX B di SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Terjadi peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil evaluasi siklus I,  dari 29 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 18 siswa (62,06 %), sedangkan hasil evaluasi siklus II dari 29 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 24 siwa ( 82,75 %).

Abstract

The design of this study uses classroom action research. Classroom Action Research. There are four stages in action research, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. In this study, researchers conducted activities in two cycles with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The results of this study describe students' learning outcomes data on the subject Classification of Living Things by using the Problem Based Learning model on Class VII A students of SMP Negeri 4 Tapung Hilir. Data collected by researchers from the learning outcomes of students through written tests. From the results of the assessment conducted in the first cycle that is obtained a value of 50-56 with a frequency of 2 (10%), a value of 57-63 with a frequency of 4 (20%), a value of 64-70 with a frequency of 4 (20%), a value of 71-77 with a frequency of 5 (25%), a value of 78-85 with a frequency of 5 (25%). From the results of the assessment conducted in the second cycle that is obtained a value of 65-71 with a frequency of 2 (10%), a value of 72-78 with a frequency of 3 (15%), a value of 79-85 with a frequency of 6 (30%), a value of 86-92 with a frequency of 3 (15%), a value of 93-100 with a frequency of 6 (30%). Based on the data obtained in Cycle I shows that the number of students who completed as many as 10 students or (50%), not complete as many as 10 students or (50%), while the second cycle of students who completed as many as 17 students or (85 %), and incomplete 3 students or (15%).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was aimed to investigate the English teacher’s activities and determining factors in implementing the scientific approach of the 2013 curriculum in teaching and learning process. This research used qualitative research design. The subject of this research was English teacher of SMPN 3 Kampar. The data were collected by using observation sheet, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using data analysis process developed by Creswell (1998): reading, describing, classifying, and interpreting. This research revealed that observing, experimenting, and communicating stages had been implemented very well in each meeting. However, questioning stage was only able to be implemented well. The teacher had provided opportunities for the students to ask some questions by walking over and pointing at the student to ask about the lesson. But, it was only conducted in the first and second meetings. Meanwhile, the implementation of associating stage was still bad. The teacher was only able to do this stage in the third meeting by giving the students task individually. This research also revealed that teacher’s motivation, perception, and experience were internal factors while media and environment were external factors influenced English teacher’s activities in implementing the scientific approach of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan passing atas bolavoli melalui metode drill pada siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Jenis penelitian yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Ada empat tahapan dalam penelitian tindakan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi, sedangkan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan  kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP N 4 Tapung Hilir dengan jumlah siswa yang diteliti sebanyak 20 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa dan 10 siswi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode drill dapat meningkatkan kemampuan passing atas siswa kelas VIII A di SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan passing atas siswa dari siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil evaluasi sikus I dari 20 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 8 siswa (40%), dan hasil evaluasi nilai siklus II dari 20 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 16 siswa (80%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to read Poetry through the demonstration method as Indonesian teaching material in class VIII of SMPN 4. The demonstration method is to provide opportunities for students to translate and apply their knowledge into learning while at the same time giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their level of understanding and mastery of material that has been studied. This research method uses classroom action research methods. The instruments used were test and non-test. The results of the study found that demonstration learning methods can improve the ability to read poetry. Learning achievement increases because of the different learning methods. Students come to the front of the class to read poetry. So that learning activities become more interesting and quality. The results showed an increase in the ability to read poetry of students from the first cycle and second cycle. The results of the first cycle evaluation of 29 students who achieved KKM were 10 students namely 34.48%, and the results of the evaluation of the second cycle value of 29 students who achieved KKM were 24 students namely 82.75%. Suggestions for teachers are needed to use demonstration learning methods so that the learning process becomes more conducive and enjoyable and for parents to pay attention to the activities carried out by children so that they can be controlled and biased to increase achievement.

Abstract

In this case the writer wants to reveal a small part of the perception of Penjaskesrek students in the Adaptive Physical Education course of the Islamic University of Riau. This research is a descriptive research. The population in this study were all Penjaskesrek students taking Adaptive Physical Education courses. While the sample in this study was 128 students from 320 people with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study that the factors opening up the lesson by 87.27%, 81 students attend attendance, 95%, 78 students motivation, 71%, memory of students with past material 57.61%, readiness of students to accept new material 70.81%, core activities 77.22%, and the cover 66.74%. After conducting research directly in the field, a satisfying result is seen where students have a good perception of the learning process of Adaptive Sports Physical Education itself. Then it can be concluded that the students' perception of the Adaptive Physical Education Process is in the good category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ’untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dan motivasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw pada kelas VIII B SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir. Jenis peneliian ini yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Ada empat tahapan dalam penelitian tindakan ,yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, (4) refleksi, sedangkan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan  kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP N 4 Tapung Hilir dengan jumlah siswa yang diteliti sebanyak 32 siswa yang terdiri dari 18 siswa dan 14 siswi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Terjadi peningkatan proses pembelajaran  siswa dari siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil evaluasi sikus I dari 32 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 8 siswa (24%), dan hasil evaluasi nilai siklus II dari 32 siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM yaitu sebanyak 13 siswa (40,75%).
