Abstract

Data clustering provides an overview of the grouping of data through classification so that the groups have levels that have the same category. Cluster classification is carried out on agricultural data in Jambi Province with agricultural production groups including rice, rubber, palm oil, and coffee in the period 2021 for 11 (eleven) cities/districts including Jambi City, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Sungai Full City, Kerinci Regency , Muaro Jambi Regency, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Merangin Regency, Sarolangun Regency, Batanghari Regency, Tebo Regency, and Bungo Regency. The purpose of the cluster is used for allocations related to the budget, land, and support that can be used both to increase the amount of production and evaluation related to agriculture, especially at the Jambi Province level. So that the clustering carried out using the Weka application is 4 clusters, the result is that the cluster process stops at the 2nd iteration, the output information that occupies cluster 0 is 3 cities/districts, cluster 1 has 1 city/regency, cluster 2 has 2 cities/districts, and cluster 3 there are 5 cities/districts, with a total attribute of 11 (eleven) city/district data. Based on experiments on manual clustering, it can be concluded that the equations that can be seen from the output results using Weka and manual calculations are the same as doing two data iterations and with the same data group results.

Abstract

Foreman 1 State Vocational High School currently has a website with the site address https://smkn1mandor.sch.id/ as a means of delivering academic information needed by users. However, so far there are still obstacles in the field, namely that there are still many students who cannot access the website properly because the academic consultation feature cannot be accessed optimally, there is a lot of content that is not updated, students lack enthusiasm for using website profile and basic information such as the school's complete profile has not been included in its entirety on the website. For this reason, researchers conducted an analysis of student satisfaction as users of website services using the webqual 4.0 method which focuses on 3 webqual 4.0, namely Usability Quality, Information Quality, and Interaction Service Quality. This study used a statement instrument based on the webqual 4.0, using a questionnaire distributed to 87 respondents taken based on simple random sampling from a population of 450 active students. Data processing used SPSS version 26. Based on the test results and data analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the four webqual 4.0 variables, namely Usability Quality, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality on the website are in a reasonably high category with satisfaction scores in the satisfied category. The results of the evaluation in this study provide input for school's service interactions website.

Abstract

Regional potential can create investment opportunities and help the economic growth of the surrounding community. Limited information, difficulty understanding data, unclear data pictures, and ineffective media make it difficult for potential investors to invest. The information picture must be easily accessible and provide a clear picture. Web Geographic Information System (WebGIS) is a web-based platform using Geographical Information System (GIS) technology. WebGIS can display information about an area's potential and investment opportunities through its distribution map. This research uses the prototype method where each stage refers to user needs. Based on the results of testing and implementation of this WebGIS-based information system design, potential information needs can be visualized through the location position and size of the area in the form of polygons on the map. Accessibility of data visualization via the internet helps potential investors to find out early about possible area information without having to come to the location first.

Abstract

Currently server monitoring is still done manually, servers sometimes experience downtime and trouble, namely several services such as Apache, MySQL often down or crash themselves, network administrators cannot always monitor the network they manage as a result of the many other jobs that must be done. For this reason, this research created a script that can be used to monitor services on the server. This research was conducted by collecting data, observing and researching the library using telegram bots and bash scripts as supporting applications in monitoring service activities. This study aims to make it easier for administrators to handle servers. With this system, you can send notifications via telegram to network administrators when a service dies and this system can revive the dead service by restarting it

Abstract

Video files have a large enough capacity, and to access them takes a long time, so a data compression technique is needed. In this case the video file will be compressed using the SPIHT (Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees) algorithm, SPIHT (Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees) is a video file compression capable of achieving a high compression ratio. Problems that arise due to the large file size include the wasteful storage media used, as well as more time in terms of data exchange, data transfer over the internet is a big problem in Indonesia because of the very low download and upload speeds. To overcome this problem, data compression techniques are needed. The concept of compression was born as a real solution to problems regarding the space needed to store various digital files, including the MKV (Matroska Video) format video files. The compression technique is a technique that compresses files so that they become smaller in size while maintaining the quality of the representation of the file. Through the compression process of MKV (Matroska video) format video files using the SPIHT (Set Partioning In Hirarcical Tress) algorithm, it is hoped that in the future this compression system will have a major effect on video file storage and can increase storage and it is also hoped that this algorithm can be used for other objects to be compressed.

Abstract

Learning media plays a role in supporting the learning process to create variation and not boring. SDIT Bina Insani presents learning media as a means as well as a learning support. The learning media used is Javanese script card. The Javanese script card is considered sufficient to create variations in the learning experience, but it is not enough to attract students’ interest in learning and is limited to interaction with the teacher. To improve this, learning media is needed that has a user interface design and interactive user experience and able to help students make learning more fun. Design Thinking is a UI and UX design development method that focuses on extracting information and building creative ideas for solutions to encountered problems. Design thinking has five stages of the development process: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The design of the learning media is expected to be able to provide interaction for students to understand Javanese script interactively and without being limited to learning time at school.

Abstract

In Southeast Asia, stroke is the third leading cause of disability and the disease with the second highest risk of death. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain is blocked or bursts, preventing some cells or brain tissue from receiving the oxygen they need from the blood supply. This study focuses on predicting stroke using the Levenberg Marquardt algorithm. Stroke prediction data is taken from the Kaggle website which consists of 5110 records. The attributes used to predict stroke consist of 10 attributes, namely gender, age, patient hypertension, heart disease, marital status, type of work, type of residence, average glucose level, body weight, and smoking status. The results of this study are the prediction of stroke by training and testing MSE = 0.0550 at Epoch = 10000 with 10-10-1 architecture.

Abstract

One factor that can support student enthusiasm for learning is the existence of educational assistance in the form of scholarships. Various types of scholarships are given to students who have achievements both academic and non-academic achievements. Conditions that often occur in the process of awarding scholarships, the assessment is not always decided based on definite considerations and predetermined criteria. The process of determining the provision of scholarships to students will be more effective and efficient if you use a decision support system. With the existence of a decision support system, it can help the selection team in the selection process of scholarship recipients so as to speed up the decision-making process based on predetermined criteria. The decision support system to be built applies the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. With the new system, it is expected to help the selection team related to managing applicant data, selection and proposal of scholarship recipients can be done more easily and quickly.

Abstract

The important determinant factor for the success of a service company in achieving its established objectives is its workforce. The selection process for new and contract employees in the company should be objective in order for them to become permanent employees. However, many companies still lack measures to evaluate the level of objectivity in their selection process. In this study, the author observed that sometimes companies experience difficulty in determining which contract employees should be promoted to permanent employees due to the lack of objectivity in the selection process. Therefore, the author used the Simple Additive Weighting (WASPAS and ROC) method to determine the best employees who can be promoted to permanent employees with criteria such as participation, level of education, competency, workplace, knowledge, teamwork, work quality, English language skills, and others. Based on the research results, the ROC and WASPAS methods are very useful in determining the best employee candidates and solving identified problems, as well as providing better and more optimal results in decision-making. In this study, variant A2 with the highest utility value of 0.982 was chosen as the best contract employee to be employed as a permanent employee.

Abstract

The use of chatbots is now starting to be widely used to support services from information systems, one of which is SIMANTA. SIMANTA, which is managed by the Department of Business Administration, State Polytechnic of Malang, is used as the management of student final assignments and theses. SIMANTA has been used for 3 years starting from 2019 until now. There are obstacles that have not been overcome by SIMANTA, namely the dependence of students on the SIMANTA admin. With the high demand for using SIMANTA in the Commerce Administration Department, a lot of questions arise about registration, title submissions, guidance information, proposal seminar submissions, proposal seminar schedules, final report exams through social media applications that cannot be handled by the administration. , thus causing problems that cause the information conveyed to be less responsive. This research creates a feature in the form of a chatbot virtual agent on SIMANTA using the Telegram platform. Chatbot is created using BotFather with the name @SIMANTA_BOT. Chatbot utilizes the Similarity-Sentences Measurement method to measure the level of similarity of the questions obtained, and provides responses using the pattern-matching method. With the chatbot feature on SIMANTA, it can help improve services to students, teaching staff, and education staff within the Department of Business Administration.
