Abstract

Improvement of status as a permanent employee is a form of career advancement for a contract employee. because permanent employees are the main asset for a company. In selecting permanent employees for a company, there are some employees who volunteer to take part in the selection to become permanent employees. permanent employee selection is carried out in stages such as file selection, oral or written tests and interviews. Usually the selected employees are sometimes far from what is expected, so it is necessary to use a decision-making system as the final result, so a decision support system is needed using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA) method. The application of the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA) method used in the selection of permanent employees is to find the best employees in a company. Decision support systems are used to assist decision making to determine permanent employees. The results of this study can assist decision making in determining which employees are selected to become permanent employees. From the results of the calculation of the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA) method, the selection of permanent employees is based on predetermined criteria, an employee named "Eben" alternative A7 with a preference value of 7.086 as an employee who is eligible to become a permanent employee.

Abstract

PT. Indoramah Abadi is a national plastic manufacturing company that focuses on the production of mineral water packaging. Because the amount of goods produced is quite large, the company has a large number of employees, including contract employees and permanent employees. However, the large number of employees can cause problems in determining which contract employees will be appointed as permanent employees. This problem occurs because the company does not have objective criteria in selecting permanent employees, causing jealousy among employees. In addition, the calculation process used is still manual and inaccurate, thus affecting employee performance. To overcome these problems, the authors conducted research using the MOORA method. This method is a method that can assist in making decisions by using complex mathematical calculations that can be used to solve problems in conflicting criteria, namely benefits and costs. The results of the study show that alternative A4 with a value of 0.2106 is the highest score. Therefore, it can be concluded that a contract employee named Aksa Alpindo deserves to be appointed as a permanent employee.

Abstract

The best teacher is a teacher who is given appreciation because he has a high achievement value. There are several specific criteria in selecting the best teacher, namely in terms of achievement, skills possessed, morals/manners, and discipline. To improve quality in the world of education, of course, a teacher is needed who will interact directly with students in the learning process which can indirectly improve the quality of education. With the interaction in the learning process, it is hoped that it will become a resource in improving the quality of education. There is also something the government is doing that is in a way to advance education, namely by empowering teachers and giving an award, especially for those who are entitled to get the title of the best teacher with achievements. Based on the results of interviews and research related to SMK Negeri 2 Medan, in determining the best teacher the assessment is still in a subjective way. This is based only on the opinion of each teacher and does not start with certain criteria, this will affect social events because the method used is not in an objective way and ends in an unfair feeling caused by subjective methods among fellow teachers who teach at the school. Therefore, it is recommended that schools must determine and agree on certain criteria in determining outstanding teachers, even though the assessment in the final process is still carried out by voting from those who have voting rights in determining the outstanding/best teachers, which of course is also carried out by teachers. The system for determining the best teacher is always a problem every year because it can create injustice among fellow teachers. Therefore, to facilitate and eliminate this unfair attitude, a decision support system (SPK) is needed which can facilitate the determination of the best teacher at SMK Negeri 2 Medan. A decision support system is an interactive computer system that can assist decision making by utilizing existing data to solve unstructured and semi-structured problems. In this SPK there are several methods, one of which is the Moosra Method (Multiobjective Optimization on the Basis of Simple Ratio Analysis) and the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) Method. The result of ROC and MOOSRA method calculation showed that Halimah (A10) obtained the highest final preference value of 14.599, making her selected as the best teacher.

Abstract

Tablet PC which is one part of technological developments in the field of communication that aims to meet the needs of users where these needs are not found on smartphones or laptops, is an option that can be an alternative communication tool that can meet needs involving a smartphone. such as designing, playing games, and working. related to the many models of tablet PCs in the world of communication causes the selection of the best tablet PC to be a problem for the users themselves. One of them is if the user chooses the wrong type of tablet PC according to their needs, the tablet PC does not make it easier, instead it hinders the activities of the user himself. therefore data from the types of tablet PCs are collected from 5 criteria and 7 alternatives where the criteria have been determined including screen size, memory capacity, memory type, hard disk capacity and price. From these criteria, the use of ROC can be used to giving weight to each criterion which is then determined using the MOORA method included in the decision that can give the maximum and accurate final preference value, so this study determines the best tablet pc choice option is alternative A1 brand apple ipad air with a final value of 0.054 as the best alternative.

Abstract

Qamarul Huda Badaruddin University is a private university located in Central Lombok Regency with an increasing number of students. Along with the increasing number of students, of course, the number of internet users on campus also increases, making traffic on the network more complex and requiring network management. Quality of Service (QoS) can be regarded as a terminology used to define the characteristics of a network service (Service) to find out how good the quality is in that service. With Quality of Service (QoS), bandwidth can be used optimally so as to improve the quality of internet services received by users. The application of appropriate bandwidth management needs to be done, one of which is using the HTB method, namely bandwidth management with bandwidth borrowing queuing techniques between classes or users. Which can allocate bandwidth according to the user's bandwidth requirements in accordance with the specified priority. The purpose of this study is to determine the Quality of Service (QoS) produced by the HTB method in conducting bandwidth management so as to improve existing internet services at Qamarul Huda Badaruddin University. The results of the Quality of Service (QoS) analysis based on the tests that have been carried out show that by applying the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method, satisfactory results are obtained, namely a value of 3.67. These results are obtained from the average test results on 4 parameters, namely delay, jitter, packet loss, and throughput.

Abstract

Cum Talenta GKPS is one of the business entities engaged in the field of savings and loans, which serves members especially in the field of savings and loans. Where data processing still uses conventional methods, so that members who will make savings and loan transactions need quite a long time in serving members. With this, it is expected to help cooperatives to improve their member services and to store data or other important documents that must be stored properly so that the presentation of information is relatively fast and accurate. To overcome this problem, several studies were conducted such as interview methods and observations. For system modeling, the author uses a structured design method with design tools, namely flow maps, context diagrams, data flow diagrams and DFDs. Implementation and creation of the system using the Visual Basic programming language and MySQL database. The financial information system designed aims to build a computerized information system so that it is easier for farmer group members to process member data, transaction data, savings data and member loan data.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru, as an educational institution, understands that a fast and reliable internet connection is the key to supporting an effective teaching and learning process. However, the current situation still has obstacles related to the quality of the local internet network at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru, this causes the teaching and learning process and the implementation of computer-based exams in the computer laboratory to be constrained and not optimal. The purpose of this study is to optimize the quality of the computer laboratory internet network at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru by implementing LiteBeam 5 GHz antenna technology using point-to-point protocol and collecting data on the quality of the school computer laboratory internet network before and after implementing LiteBeam 5 GHz antenna technology on the SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru internet network infrastructure. This study uses the QoS (Quality of Service) method with parameters of throughput, packet loss, latency and jitter. The results of the study of measuring the quality of the school computer laboratory internet network before the implementation of LiteBeam 5 GHz antenna technology on the SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru internet network infrastructure when used by 5 users obtained an overall QoS index value of 3.25 which is in the "good" category. While when used by 30 users, the overall QoS index value was 3 which is in the "good" category. Measurement of the quality of the school computer laboratory internet network after the implementation of LiteBeam 5 GHz antenna technology on the SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru internet network infrastructure when used by 5 users, the overall QoS index value was 4 which is in the "very good" category. While when used by 30 users, the overall QoS index value was 4 which is in the "very good" category. Based on the results of the measurement of the school computer laboratory internet network, it is concluded that the implementation of LiteBeam 5 GHz antenna technology on the SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru internet network infrastructure has succeeded in providing an optimal improvement in the quality of the school computer laboratory internet network

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate user responses to the Indodana: Paylater & Pinjaman application through sentiment analysis using the naive bayes algorithm. Online lending apps such as Indodana have changed the way individuals access finance by providing a quick and easy process. However, the user's decision to choose a legal app and pay attention to the transparency of fees and loan terms is crucial. With more than ten million downloads and two million reviews, it is important to understand user sentiment so that developers can improve services and maintain public trust. A sentiment analysis method using multinominal naive bayes was used with two labelling approaches inset lexicon and rating. The evaluation was conducted on 500 Indodana: Paylater & Pinjaman reviews, dividing the data into training and testing and using TF-IDF features. The results show that inset lexicon labelling achieved 86% accuracy, whereas rating-based labelling achieved 87% accuracy. These results provide an in-depth view of user responses, aiding in the identification of factors that influence positive or negative perceptions of the app. As such, this research is important for guiding the development of safe, reliable, and compliant online lending applications, as well as for improving overall user satisfaction

Abstract

Transportation in the palm oil industry plays a strategic role, particularly in ensuring the smooth distribution of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). PT. X is a company engaged in CPO transportation services, also known as a transporter. The company operates 12 vehicles. PT. X's workflow begins with contract agreements with various clients to transport CPO from loading locations to unloading destinations as stipulated in the contracts. Each vehicle is allocated to a contract that matches its capacity and capabilities. After allocation, the vehicles transport the CPO from the loading site to the designated unloading site. Differences in distance and travel conditions between the loading and unloading locations cause variations in travel duration for each vehicle. Scheduling uncertainties often make it difficult for field employees to estimate the number of trips each vehicle can complete. Consequently, some clients have complained about delays in contract fulfillment by PT. X. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of travel time for CPO transport vehicles using the Fuzzy Mamdani method. The main focus is on variables such as loading and unloading times, average vehicle speed, and travel distance. The collected data were processed through the stages of fuzzification, inference, and defuzzification to generate travel time estimates. The results show that the Fuzzy Mamdani-based system can accurately predict travel times. This method also facilitates operational decision-making in managing CPO transportation, thereby minimizing delays and improving efficiency. The implementation of this system significantly contributes to optimizing vehicle allocation and supporting the smooth execution of transportation contracts
