Abstract

The development of hotels has become an important part of the tourism industry, with the main function as a place to stay for guests. Hotels have evolved from simple structures to complex ones that offer various facilities and services to meet various guest needs. This study focuses on developing a system that can assist in making hotel selection decisions by considering various criteria such as hotel area, price, and room type. The problem discussed in this study is the difficulty in choosing the best hotel among many choices, which can be influenced by various factors. The purpose of this study is to design a system that can effectively evaluate and rank hotels based on their attributes, so that the decision-making process becomes more efficient and accurate. The MOORA method is used in this study to evaluate hotels based on their attributes. This method is very useful in situations where there are several criteria that are not mutually exclusive, allowing for a more comprehensive evaluation. This study uses a combination of data collection, definition of alternative criteria, and weighting to create a decision matrix. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of the MOORA method in selecting the best hotel based on predetermined criteria. The result of this study is a decision support system that can be applied in various contexts where hotel selection is a crucial decision. This system provides a structured approach to evaluating hotels, ensuring that selection is based on a thorough analysis of the available options. This research contributes to the development of more effective decision-making tools in the hospitality industry, ultimately improving the overall customer experience.

Abstract

Designing and developing systems capable of monitoring ground tremors in real-time and providing early warning before major earthquakes occur, increasing speed and accuracy in detecting potential earthquakes. This technology is known as an Internet of Things (IoT)-based earthquake monitoring and early detection system that uses motion sensors. To detect seismic activity, the system uses several motion sensors connected to the Internet of Things network. These motion sensors measure changes in ground vibration and transmit the data to a central server, which will process it to detect possible earthquakes. This research uses a methodology consisting of several stages. First, primary data is collected from motion sensors located in various earthquake-prone locations. This data is sent to a central server over the internet network. Furthermore, digital signal processing algorithms are used to analyze data to distinguish normal ground tremors from those that can signal earthquakes. This algorithm was created to identify suspicious changes in the intensity and frequency of ground vibrations. The system then sends a warning or notification to the user's device, such as a smartphone or computer, if a potential earthquake is detected. According to BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency) Earthquake intensity scale (GIS) states the impact caused by earthquakes. This scale is arranged more simply by having only five levels, namely I-V, where each level has its own meaning, level I is marked with white and level II is marked with green and level III is marked with yellow and level IV is marked with orange and the last level V is marked with red, and each level has its own meaning. The results show that the designed system can detect vibrations with high accuracy and provide early warning within seconds after suspicious seismic activity is detected. In addition, this system has a speed of sending data from the sensor to the server and good performance in the use of the internet network. IoT-based motion sensors allow for broader and decentralized monitoring of earthquakes. So, this Internet of Things-based earthquake monitoring and early detection system can be a good solution to improve earthquake disaster preparedness. By applying these technologies in different earthquake-prone areas, they can help spread and respond to potential earthquakes more quickly

Abstract

Mental health, especially depression, is a major issue among college students due to academic, social, and social media pressures. Depression detection faces challenges such as stigma, low literacy, and ineffective conventional methods. Machine learning technology offers solutions with algorithms such as Naive Bayes, SVM, and Random Forest to improve detection accuracy, support early intervention, and improve the student mental health system. Mental health, especially depression, is a major issue among college students due to academic, social, and social media pressures. Depression detection faces challenges such as stigma, low literacy, and ineffective conventional methods. Machine learning technology offers solutions with algorithms such as Naive Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbor, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine to improve detection accuracy, support early intervention, and improve the student mental health system. Based on the results of the performance analysis of the machine learning algorithm, the most effective model in predicting depression status in students is Logistic Regression which has an accuracy rate of 95.62%. As a strategic step, machine learning technology can be integrated for early diagnosis of depression in students. This system is expected to be more effective and efficient, improve diagnostic accuracy, and open up opportunities for new approaches to responsive, data-driven mental health.

Abstract

E-Recruitment is internet-based employee recruitment that is carried out by many companies today. In the research that the author conducted, recruitment was completed with decision support selection using SAW. The SAW method produces ranking output against alternatives. The alternative with the highest value is the best. In this system the alternative in question is the applicant. When registering, applicants are required to input data, including the attribute data required for selection using the SAW method. With this system, it is hoped that recruitment will be easy and practical at the initial selection stage. From this research, the results of selection using the SAW method are a ranking of scores from highest to lowest and information on whether an applicant's application is accepted or rejected can be seen through the applicant's application easily and the weight for each criterion can be changed according to the company's request

Abstract

Searching for the shortest distance to a tire repair location is a problem that often arises for transportation users. Because transportation users when traveling need a solution, the route they will take is the closest route or distance. So that time efficiency can be achieved. So this research will try to develop an application system that is implemented on Android. The method used is Breadth First Search (BFS), which focuses on a wide search to nearby neighbors and looking for the shortest distance. Where in this case it can make it easier for Android users if implemented in an application system, then searching for tire patch routes will provide or display the closest distance route. Testing was carried out using an Android application using the Breadth First Search (BFS) method to determine the success conditions, so a success rate of up to 95% was obtained. This means that with these results the Breadth First Search (BFS) method implemented in an Android application is quite good

Sampagul nauli is one of the businesses engaged in car rental or car rental cv.sampagul nauli transport provides services in the form of car rental types of cars based on price, type and facilities available in each car. In the promotion process the company has done various ways, namely by providing information to each other through one consumer to another, and placing advertisements in newspapers turned out to be less effective because the company could not provide information about the cars being rented completely and in detail so that consumers did not get information that was incomplete and efficient, regarding the cars rented by car rentals so far car rental transactions have been carried out by consumers at the relevant rental, via telephone or coming directly to the rental. Problems also arise in car rentals that take a lot of time because they are still written manually, and rentals via telephone do not satisfy consumers because they cannot see pictures of the cars to be rented, to overcome these obstacles, a web-based car rental information system was built on CV. Sampagul nauli. To make it easier for consumers to rent cars online and see pictures of the cars they want to rent, after we rent or lease a car online, we immediately come to CV. Sampagul to make a transaction again and pick up the car keys. This system uses PHP and MySQL programming languages, and it is hoped that with this web-based car rental information system, it can make it easier for consumers to rent cars, and can produce information that helps companies and consumers

Abstract

A letter is a means of communication to convey written information by one party to another and also functions as a reminder. Seeing the importance of a letter to be managed properly, the presentation of the latest information regarding management is very important because it plays a major role in supporting the implementation of activities and other functions. Management of letter data in a company that is relatively large is certainly a problem, if the management of letters still uses manual methods. For this reason, it is necessary to think about developing an effective system that is considered capable of helping in handling the process of administering letter data which includes storage, changes and accuracy and speed in its presentation. Here the author focuses on designing an information system for incoming and outgoing letters at the Financial Management and Regional Asset Agency of North Sumatra Province using the Visual Studio 2008 Program. The learning process in the era of developing information and communication technology (ICT) like today allows the absence of teachers in the classroom. The learning process no longer depends on teachers as the only source of learning, and can take place anytime and anywhere. The learning process is no longer just in the form of verbal communication between teachers and students. With the rapid development of information and communication technology in the world of education, with the internet as an integral part of it, many educational institutions offer web-based learning, or what is often called online learning or e-Learning. This type of learning certainly requires good and maximum management, so that learning objectives can be achieved. With all the convenience and advantages provided by the e-Learning application, hopefully this will not be interpreted as eliminating or replacing the role of a teacher in learning. It should be understood that internet technology only acts as a medium that if utilized in learning will help a lot, but the use of technology in the learning process cannot take over the entire role of a teacher. It must also be realized that the main key in the learning process is still education itself, which contains interactions, both teachers and students and students with students. e-Learning can also shorten the target learning time schedule, and of course save costs that must be incurred by an educational program. e-Learning is one form of learning method that is perceived as online. Abstract

Video media in the field of information technology is currently used for documentation and communication. Such as video recordings, advertisements and so on can now be processed and processed using a computer. One type of video that is included in interesting animation is the stop motion method. Stop motion animation is animation that is packaged in the form of images where the objects are photographed one by one according to the movement of the object or the movement of the desired object. In this research, the stop motion method was implemented which was packaged in an application designed using the Macromedia Flash application. The Flash application will display stop motion videos that have been made and added with theoretical features about balanced nutritional information.
