Abstract

SMAS Wiyata Dharma is a school in the city of Medan and has been established since November 14 1985. This school is located on Jalan Wahidin No. 31 Medan, North Sumatra Province. This school has currently received an A accreditation rating. This school generally not only provides educational curriculum lessons but also provides learning related to computer science which can help students prepare themselves for the outside world. One of the lessons in computer science, namely mobile apps and the most widely used programming language is the Flutter programming language developed by Google. Through collaboration with Mikroskil University, SMAS Wiyata Dharma students are equipped with the ability to create mobile applications using Flutter in collaboration. This training activity lasted for 2 days and was carried out in the Mikroskil University computer laboratory. During this training activity, students were given pre-test questions, material and case studies, as well as post-tests and feedback at the end of the training. From the results of the pre-test and post-test, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' understanding of the results of the service carried out and from the feedback that has been shared with students, it can be seen that all students agree that the training carried out is in line with the students' expectations.

Abstract

The use of information technology to support the teaching and learning process is considered important and necessary. It is not only the educators or teachers who are demanded to have the ability to use and utilize information technology, but students as well, in order to meet digital literacy competencies and be able to compete globally. At Swasta Methodist 6 High School, community service activities are carried out with the aim of improving students understanding in creating learning content using Canva and Wondershare Filmora tools. The availability of good facilities and infrastructure at school greatly assists students in utilizing technology to support the learning process. This activity was carried out for 2 days in the school's laboratory, and was attended by 43 students. The evaluation conducted with a pre-test and post-test showed an increase of 80% in the post-test for questions related to the use of Canva tools, and an increase of 60% in the post-test for questions related to the use of Wondershare Filmora tools.

Abstract

Community service can be done through various ways, such as providing services to the community, community empowerment, developing community skills and abilities, and disseminating science and technology to the community. This activity can involve lecturers, students, and other related parties. Assistance in processing data on social assistance recipients in Taba Koji Village, Lubuklinggau City aims to assist the community in managing and processing data related to the receipt of social assistance. In this assistance, lecturers have the duty to assist the community in data processing, provide training, supervise and provide input, assist in data analysis, and assist in the preparation of reports. Through this assistance, it is hoped that the community can have a better understanding of data processing and the results can be used to perencanaan program bantuan sosial di Kelurahan Taba Koji, bersifat manual sehingga proses pengambilan keputusan menjadi tidak akurat, lama, dan bersifat objektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi berupa sistem pendukung pengambilan keputusan agar dapat memproses bantuan data masyarakat lebih cepat dan akurat menggunakan kriteria yang ada.

Abstract

The sub-district office as government at the local level has an important role in city or district administration. Focusing on local needs, this Subdistrict Office provides important services managing vital documents such as KTPs, Family Cards, birth certificates, and death certificates, as well as providing important services to the community. In this digital era, technology is crucial in helping Subdistrict Offices manage administrative data, including population death data which is the basis for evaluating public health. This community service activity was carried out at the Taba Koji Subdistrict Office, Lubuklinggau City, which aims to develop a system for processing population death data that is structured, accurate, and up to date. Community Service uses information technology to collect data on population deaths which can improve the understanding, knowledge, and skills of Subdistrict staff and RT Heads. Data collection, data security, and the use of information technology are the topics of training and workshops provided to staff and RT heads in the mentoring process. This website-based information system was chosen because it helps the data processing process and increases the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of the data collection program. This community service activity that has an impact on society shows an increase in recording and the use of an integrated system to facilitate reporting and data analysis. Collaboration between the Subdistrict Office, the Head of the RT, and the community is key in the administration of population mortality rates which is an important basis for developing effective health policies.

Abstract

The term Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) has become more popular in the last decade or so. Before this, family medicinal plants were better known as Living Pharmacy. Family medicinal plants have long been utilized in an effort to overcome health problems. Therefore, the utilization of TOGA needs to be developed and disseminated in the community, especially for housewives. Among the many family medicinal plants used by the community to maintain health is bay leaf. The utilization of bay leaves is processed as a healthy drink innovation, herbal tea in the form of tea bags because it is more practical and easy to make. Bay leaf herbal tea can be used to prevent cancer, lower cholesterol, increase the body's immune system, reduce the risk of kidney stones, maintain blood sugar levels and overcome stomach pain. The main target of this service is one of the PKK women's groups in Karangnanas Village, Banyumas Regency. who work as housewives. The purpose of this activity is to increase community understanding about traditional drinks from bay leaves that can reduce cholesterol. The results of this herbal tea making training activity increase good information to the community and can manage traditional beverage products made from bay leaves. With bay leaves being one of the alternative natural ingredients that can be utilized as traditional medicine to help treat diseases such as cholesterol, hypertension, gout, diabetes mellitus.
