Abstract

The student's self-regulation and motivation are essential for students to study. Especially with 21st-century learning students are required to be more active in learning than teachers. This Mixed Methods research aimed to determine the influence between the students' self-regulation with the motivation of students learning. The sample size was 534 students from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Jambi city, Indonesia determined by total sampling technique. Data were then analyzed with the SPSS 21 application to find descriptive statistics as well as inferential statistics using simple regression and for comparison using the independent sample T-Test. The results of this research are dominant in both self-regulation and student motivation in learning, which is strengthened by the relationship and influence between self-regulation and the motivation of students in learning. It is seen from the value of sig = 0.019 and has a contribution of 70.3%. According to the results, it is recommended that students need to be given the opportunity to conduct learning directly and teachers must perform innovative learning.

Abstract

An attitude is a form of one's perception of an object that is described with expressions of like or not. The purpose of the study was to describe the attitudes of students towards the three indicators of the attitude of the junior high school in Batanghari. The research method uses quantitative survey research. The instrument used was a questionnaire that focused on three indicators consisting of 18 statements and also interviews. The sample in this study was 280 students in Batanghari. The results of research on three attitude indicators which became the dominant focus of research in the good category. The Social Implications of the Science show a good category with a percentage of 57.9%. The pleasure of science learning is well categorized with a percentage of 45.4%. The attitude towards the science investigation is categorized sufficiently with the percentage category of 41.1%. From the research that has been carried out, it can be seen that the attitude of students in junior high school is categorized as good, because the three indicators examined show good categories.

Abstract

Abstract:The students' attitude that occurs during the learning process is essential in directing human behavior. It shows the individual likes or dislikes a particular item. Students' attitudes in science subjects can be seen from how students respond to science subjects. This study aimed to determine how the students' attitude of SMAN 8 Jambi City towards Physics subjects. This research used quantitative research with a survey research design. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire with 5 points on the Likert scale. This research involved 174 students of SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics. The indicator used in this study was the attitude towards investigations in Physics. The analysis results obtained on indicator towards physics investigation was good with 64.4%.Abstrak:Sikap siswa yang terjadi selama proses pembelajaran sangat penting dalam mengarahkan perilaku manusia. Ini menunjukkan individu suka atau tidak suka item tertentu. Sikap siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dapat dilihat dari bagaimana siswa merespon mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap siswa SMAN 8 Kota Jambi terhadap mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dengan 5 butir skala likert. Penelitian ini melibatkan 174 siswa SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sikap terhadap investigasi Fisika. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh indikator terhadap investigasi fisika adalah baik dengan 64,4%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media animasi berkarakter islami terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Ilmu pengetahuan bumi dan antariksa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian ini adalah the posstest only design with nonequivalent group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester V Tadris Fisika UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh, dikarenakan semester V hanya berjumlah berjumlah dua kelas. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini berupa tes soal objektif. Analisi data menggunakan teknik uji ttest. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai - ttabel ≤ thitung ≤ + ttabel yaitu 2,10 ≤ 6,87 ≥ + 2,10, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, maka dapat dinyatkan terdapat pengaruh yang lebih baik hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan media animasi berkarakter islami dibanding dengan media animasi tanpa karakter islami. Hasil penelitian dilanjutkan uji koreslasi (Uji phi (Φ)), dimana dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai rtabel ≤ rhitung dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 yaitu 0,304 ≤ 0,0,782 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi berkarakter islami memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the assessment of students’ attitude of science subjects in several indicators. This type of research is quantitative research with inferential statistical data. This study involved two different schools, namely SMP 17 Batanghari Regency with a sample obtained by 140 students and SMP 3 Muaro Jambi with a sample of 145 students. The students’ attitudes were noticed in several indicators, namely the social implications of science, the adoption of science attitudes and the enjoyment of learning science. As the result, from the three indicators, the attitude of the SMP 3 Muaro Jambi students were dominantly in good category, whereas those of the students in Batanghari District were dominantly in quite good category. In conclusion, there were  differences between the two school students’ attitude toward natural science which was reinforced by the results of t tests that have been done.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efficacy of using smartphones as portable mini-labs to improve students' beliefs about physics. This study takes a hybrid approach, using an exploratory mixed-method research design. The qualitative step entails creating teaching resources as a laboratory manual focusing on momentum and impulse. Simultaneously, the quantitative phase evaluates the usefulness of using smartphones as mobile mini laboratories to improve students' beliefs about physics and the process of learning physics using a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group design. According to the research findings, the laboratory manual developed during the qualitative stage has been declared valid and appropriate for learning by expert validators and teacher practitioners. Furthermore, using smartphones as portable tiny laboratories in physics teaching significantly improves students' beliefs about physics, notably the dimension of real-world connection, which has grown significantly. This research will have favourable implications for enhancing beliefs and proficiency in physics topics and cultivating students' interpersonal and communication abilities. Laboratory activities are crucial since they provide students the chance to partake in diverse genuine scientific procedures, including the design and execution of experiments, the gathering and analysis of data, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Abstract

Students are already active in learning, but many forget the material that has been given. When giving opinions, they are less motivated to learn. 21st century skills are still very low, this can be seen when face-to-face learning is limited. The reason is that many students cannot absorb subjects well, the limitations of learning are carried out remotely. This article aims to describe the improvement of 21st century skills due to the implementation of project-based learning. This article is an explanation based on real events in learning. The research subjects were all students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Adiwerna, totaling 36 people. Student learning outcomes on average 82% where this value already meets the criteria of classical completeness, motivation increases from every face-to-face meeting. Students are able to express opinions, collaborate in concluding the results of discussions, increase critical thinking power as evidenced by the HOTS questions given by the teacher that can be answered properly.

Abstract

Akidah semua ajaran yang diwahyukan Allah kepada NabiNya untuk disampaikan kepada umat manusia adalah sama, tidak mengalami perubahan di dalamnya. Iman kepada asma dan sifat Allah merupakan bagian dari akidah. Namun dari zaman salaf terdahulu sampai sekarang masalah asma wa shifat menjadi perdebatan, khususnya di kalangan para ulama, sehingga dibutuhkan berbagai rujukan untuk membantah masalah ini. Salah satunya Mahasin At-Ta’wil yang ditulis oleh Muhammad Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi. Di masa modern ini, belum ada penelitian tentang penafsiran sifat-sifat Allah yang merujuk pada pemikiran Al-Qasmi, maka hal ini membuat penulis tertarik untuk membahas tentang sifat-sifat Allah berdasarkan tafrir Al-Qasimi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penafsiran Al-Qasimi terhadap sifat-sifat Allah dan bagaimana metode Al-Qasimi dalam menafsirkannya. Penelitian ini lebih difokuskan pada sifatsifat yang banyak diperdebatkan, seperti istiwa, kalam, kursiy, yad, ityan, dan maiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan library reasearch dan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qasimi dalam menafsirkan sifat Allah berdasarkan ulama salaf. Metode Al-Qasimi dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat sifat adalah dengan menyebutkan pendapat beliau terlebih dahulu. Selanjutnya menyembutkan pendapat ulama lain untuk menguatkan pendapatnya. Selain itu, terkadang Al-Qasimi juga menyebutkan beberapa pembahasan penting yang harus diperhatikan, seperti syubhat-syubhat dalam menafsirkan sifat Allah dan cara untuk membantahnya. Abstract The creed of all the teachings revealed by Allah to His Prophet to be conveyed to mankind is the same, there is no change in it. Faith in the names and attributes of Allah is part of the faith. However, from the time of the previous Salaf until now the issue of asthma wa shifat has become a debate, especially among scholars, so that various references are needed to refute this problem. One of them is Mahasin At-Ta'wil written by Muhammad Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi. In modern times, there has been no research on the interpretation of the attributes of Allah that refers to Al-Qasmi's thoughts, so this makes the writer interested in discussing the attributes of Allah based on Al-Qasimi's interpretation. The purpose of this study is to describe how Al-Qasimi interprets the attributes of Allah and how Al-Qasimi interprets them. This research focuses more on traits that are much debated, such as istiwa, kalam, kursiy, yad, ityan, and maiyah. This research uses library research and uses thematic interpretation method. The results of this study indicate that Al-Qasimi in interpreting the nature of Allah based on the salaf scholars. Al-Qasimi's method of interpreting the nature verses is to mention his opinion first. Furthermore, mention the opinion of other scholars to strengthen his opinion. In addition, sometimes Al-Qasimi also mentions some important discussions that must be considered, such as doubts in interpreting the nature of Allah and how to refute it.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi era mobilitas yang semakin berfokus pada keberlanjutan, kendaraan listrik, khususnya sepeda listrik, muncul sebagai solusi inovatif untuk mendukung masa depan transportasi yang ramah lingkungan. Perusahaan Ciledug Store memiliki kebutuhan untuk memahami pola penjualan sepeda listrik agar dapat mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran dan persediaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan penjualan barang menggunakan algoritma X-Means, dengan fokus pada kendaraan listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan algoritma X-Means dalam mengelompokkan penjualan sepeda listrik berdasarkan data penjualan di Perusahaan Ciledug Store. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga terkait preferensi konsumen terhadap jenis sepeda listrik berdasarkan karakteristik baterai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Knowledge Discovery In Database dengan menggunakan Algoritma X-Meansuntuk mengelompokkan data penjualan, mengatasi kendala K-Means clustering terkait jumlah cluster yang perlu diketahui sebelumnya. Penelitian ini mencakup periode September-Desember 2023 dengan total 472 data penjualan. Penerapan algoritma X-Means menghasilkan empat cluster. Cluster 0, dengan 451 data produk yang terjual, menunjukkan bahwa sepeda listrik berbaterai 48V/12Ah termasuk dalam kategori laris. Sementara Cluster 1 (13 data), Cluster 2 (2 data), dan Cluster 3 (6 data) menunjukkan sepeda listrik dengan baterai 48V/20Ah, 72V/20Ah, dan 36V/12Ah masuk dalam kategori kurang laris. Davies Bouldin Score yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,220.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of physics-based learning based on smartphone-integrated Group Investigation (GI) as a mobile mini-labs to improve students' science process skills in learning physics. This study is a quasi-experimental research with a post-test control group design. The research sample consisted of 72 students in class XI of Science at SMAN 10 Jambi City which was divided into an experimental class (n=36) and a control class (n=36). Data were collected using science process skills observation sheets and a learning implementation checklist. The results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test showed a significant difference in science process skills between the two groups (p<0.05), with a high effect size value (r=0.86). Experimental classes showed higher improvements in all dimensions of science process skills, especially in communication, data collection and processing, and experiment design. Observation of learning implementation showed effective implementation with an average implementation score of 3.75 out of a maximum score of 4. These findings indicate that smartphone-integrated GI-based physics learning as mobile mini-labs is effective in improving students' science process skills, and provides important implications for the development of innovative physics-based learning strategies based on technology.
