Abstract

Layout is a decision that determines the efficiency of an operation in the long term. Many strategic impacts occur from the results of decisions about layout, including capacity, process, flexibility, cost, quality of work environment, customer contact and corporate image. An effective layout helps companies achieve a strategy that supports the business strategy that has been set between differentiation, low cost and fast response.At this time there are problems that arise in the material warehouse, namely when Warehouse employees will take materials for the purposes of the production process, the placement of materials in the warehouse is still irregular or still not neat in making the preparation of materials, so things like this cause time ineffectiveness in the process of taking materials in a warehouse. warehouse area and make it difficult for workers because there are no storage area instructions.The results of the Shared Storage approach can minimize the material handling distance, the total distance traveled in the initial layout is 2362.9 meters. The total mileage of the proposed layout is 1850.30 meters. There is a difference in the total mileage of 512.6 meters or 21.69% of the total initial mileage. This means that the proposed layout can shorten the distance traveled by warehouse employees in taking the materials needed in the delivery of the production process

Abstract

PT. Kabana Textile Industries is a textile company which is located at Jl. Raya Pait KM. 10 Pekalongan, Central Java. The problem that occurs is that in January to September 2021 for the quality of the 20s polyester yarn roll on this winding machine there are a number of defects that exceed the standard limit of 5%, which is 5.28%. So it is necessary to control the quality of the 20s polyester yarn roll on the winding machine. Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method is used to identify the most dominant type of defect and the root cause of the problem. While the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to identify failures that can occur and get suggestions for improvement. The most dominant types of defects are Stitch defects of 44.67% and Swelled Packages of 36.07%. It is known that the highest RPN value for Stitch defects is 245 due to machine factors, namely the inappropriate/varied tension is overcome with a good tension set (8-12% for single thread strength and 15% for double thread). Meanwhile, Swelled Package defects caused by machine factors, namely low voltage, can be overcome by replacing bobbins that are not slack. This improvement proposal was implemented in November 2021 and the number of defects decreased to 4.53%, the stitch defect type was 43.97% and the swelled package was 29.36%, which means it is already below the disability limit and the RPN value is 140.

Abstract

Scientific articles were wrote as result of the research process that follow agreed rules, methods, and systematics so that the fact can be accounted for. Those scientific articles or publications were commonly available in the internet as indexed list. One of the biggest source of publication indexed in SINTA (Science and Technology Index) of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of Indonesia. According to SINTA, the number of Indonesian publications continues to increase over years since 2017. Because of this increasing number of publications, the need of managing those documents is emerging. The management of published document data would be very difficult to do manually, including grouping or classifying documents based on the research topic. This become the background of this research on how to classify the articles topic automatically. This research utilizing support vector machine classifier to achieve the solution. After conducting research using 600 documents, we successfully classify the topic of Indonesian scientific article documents using the support vector machine method with a 94% accuracy, 95% precision, and 94% recall.

Abstract

Teknologi saat ini telah berkembang sangat pesat karena dengan teknologi tersebut informasi dapat didapat dengan cepat, akurat dan tidak terbatas oleh waktu dan tempat. Salah satu sektor yang berkembang adalah di bidang pariwisata yang memberikan andil untuk mendistribusikan informasi objek-objek wisata yang lebih interaktif dan menarik khususnya melalui jejaring sosial.             Ada banyak tempat wisata yang indah di Jawa Barat, namun belum banyak yang tahu tentang berbagai tempat wisata di Jawa Barat. Informasi tentang tempat wisata menjadi lebih dikenal jika diberikan tempat untuk bertukar informasi dalam bentuk website. MetodeUser-Centered Design (UCD) diperlukan untuk membuat website objek wisata yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk menginformasikan kepada wisatawan, dan dengan memilih objek wisata yang diinginkan tanpa ragu-ragu maka akan lebih mudah untuk merencanakan kunjungan pengunjung sesuai dengan keinginan wisatawan.             Sistem informasi objek wisata ini dibangun dengan menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa pemogramannya dan MySQL sebagai pengelola databasenya. UCD digunakan dalam perancangan sistem informasi ini. Ini melibatkan pengguna dengan memberikan masukan berupa survei. Sistem informasi ini berisi tentang profil obyek wisata, moda transportasi yang digunakan, dan jarak yang ditempuh. Selain homestay, ada juga banyak informasi tentang agen perjalanan yang dapat melakukan perjalanan ke pinggiran kota. Untuk mengimplementasikan sistem ini, Anda perlu menjalankan pengujian sebelumnya, yaitu pengujian program dan sistem, lalu menjalankan evaluasi.                Sistem informasi yang dibuat adalah sistem yang mampu menampilkan obyek dipeta dan memberikan informasi jika obyek dipeta tersebut dipilih, pemakai dapat melihat lebih detail posisi obyek yang akan dicari. Bagi pemilik situs bisa melakukan penambahan data obyek tanpa harus melakukan pembangunan situs dari awal, dalam hal ini baik data pada peta atau informasinya. Dengan pembuatan sistem ini maka obyek-obyek yang ditampilkan pada peta selalu informasi terbaru sehingga mempermudah dan membantu pengguna dalam melakukan kunjungan wisata di Jawa Barat.
