Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the implementation of the SI PADUKA (General Document Delivery System to Residents' Homes) innovation in Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang, aiming to reduce queues at sub-district offices and simplify access to important documents. It also examines factors hindering its implementation.Research methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants include the district head, district secretary, service staff, and residents using the SI PADUKA service. Data analysis follows three stages: reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study applies Everett M. Rogers' innovation theory, focusing on five indicators: 1) Relative Advantage, 2) Compatibility, 3) Complexity, 4) Trialability, and 5) Observability. Results: The results show that the SI PADUKA program has been running quite effectively since March 2023. This program has a relative advantage in reducing waiting times and improving service efficiency. However, there are several obstacles in its implementation. The main obstacles are the use of personal vehicles and mobile phones by the officers, as well as complaints from the public regarding the uncertainty of document delivery times, which sometimes reach seven working days. Conclusions: The SI PADUKA innovation in Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang, improves efficiency by delivering documents to residents' homes. However, issues such as staff using personal vehicles and phones, along with uncertain delivery times, persist. Most residents give positive feedback, though some find the service slow.Limitations: This study faced limitations as interviews alone were insufficient for comprehensive results. To improve accuracy, the researcher added a questionnaire method, surveying 100 residents in Seberang Ulu 1, Palembang.Contribution: This research contributes to Public Service and Government Science, offering insights for future improvements and serving as a reference for students. Keywords: Innovation, Public Service, SI PADUKA, Seberang Ulu 1 DistrictHow to Cite: Defitri, A, D., Isabella, I., Putra, D, A. Abstract

Abstract:Purpose: This study aims to analyze the impact of dividend yield, earnings volatility, and leverage on stock price volatility in consumer goods companies from 2018-2022 and test the relevance of existing theories in the Indonesian context.Research methodology: This study is a quantitative study, examining the causal relationship of independent variables such as dividend yield, earning volatility and leverage to the dependent variable, namely stock price volatility. Data were collected by looking at the financial statements of each company and the stock prices of companies engaged in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The collected data were then processed using the SPSS program. Results: Dividend yield and earning volatility variables have a negative but insignificant effect on stock price volatility in consumer goods industry companies. While the leverage variable has a significant and positive effect on stock price volatility in consumer goods industry companies.Conslusions: This study found that dividend yield and earnings volatility do not significantly affect stock price volatility, while leverage has a significant impact. The study is limited to the period of 2018-2022 and consumer goods companies listed on the IDX.Limitations: The independent variables used in the study that explain stock price volatility are only limited to three variables, namely dividend yield, earning volatility and leverage. There are limitations to the research period used in the study, namely 2018-2022 so that the study is only able to explain conditions in that period, and the limited research sample used, namely around companies engaged in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)Contribution: This study contributes to the existing literature by providing insights to new investors regarding stock information that influences investment decisions. This study highlights that stock price volatility that occurs can be influenced by many factors and can be additional information in an investor's investment decision. Keywords: Dividend Yield, Earning Volatility, Leverage, Stock Price VolatilityHow to Cite: Winata, V, F., Ekadjaja, A. Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies and operational practices of LogisMe, a logistics company focused on material handling. It explores the use of the B2B model, NICE marketing mix, and Porter’s Generic Strategy for market differentiation. Additionally, the research examines customer relationship management, relationship marketing, digital marketing, and employee expertise in enhancing sales effectiveness. Methodology/approach: This research employs a qualitative approach, gathering data from LogisMe’s internal documents, marketing strategies, and operational plans. A case study method is used to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's marketing practices. Data were collected through interviews with key management personnel and analyzed using the Sales Effectiveness Drivers framework, which consists of five elements: definer, shaper, exciter, enlightener, and controller drivers. Each of these elements was assessed to determine their impact on LogisMe’s sales force structure and marketing strategies. Results/findings: The study reveals that LogisMe successfully leverages its B2B model by employing the NICE marketing mix strategy to foster strong business networks and customer engagement. By focusing on specific market segments and utilizing Porter’s differentiation strategy, LogisMe has been able to carve a niche in the logistics industry. The company’s investment in skilled employees, digital marketing, and relationship marketing further contributes to its sales effectiveness. The Sales Effectiveness Drivers framework has helped LogisMe optimize its sales force structure and activities, resulting in improved operational efficiency and market competitiveness. Limitations: The study is limited to LogisMe’s current operations and marketing strategies, which may not fully capture long-term trends or challenges in the logistics and warehousing sector. Additionally, the research is based on qualitative data from a single company, which may limit the generalizability of the findings to other logistics firms or industries. Contribution: This research contributes to the understanding of how B2B companies in the logistics industry can use strategic marketing and operational frameworks to enhance their sales effectiveness and competitiveness. It provides a practical application of the NICE marketing mix, Porter's Generic Strategy, and the Sales Effectiveness Drivers framework in the context of logistics and warehousing. The study offers valuable insights for other companies aiming to differentiate themselves and optimize their sales and marketing efforts Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its exploration of the NICE marketing mix in a B2B logistics setting, combined with the use of the Sales Effectiveness Drivers framework. This integration provides a unique perspective on how logistics companies can align their marketing and sales strategies with organizational goals to achieve differentiation and enhance customer relationships in a competitive market.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the influence of sales interpersonal skills on wedding organizers' (WOs) trust and their willingness to recommend venues in business-to-business (B2B) relationships. Methodology/approach: A sample of 41 members of the Bali Wedding Association was used, with 15 indicators assessed on a 5-point Likert scale to evaluate the impact of interpersonal skills on trust and recommendation behaviours. It is that these members do not all belong to the same organization. Results/findings: The results show that sales interpersonal skills significantly enhance both the trust that WOs place in sales personnel and their willingness to recommend venues. Additionally, the study reveals that trust acts as a mediator in this relationship, meaning that interpersonal skills not only directly impact recommendations but also do so indirectly by fostering trust. Conclusion: Despite the small sample size and geographic focus, which limit the generalizability of the findings, this research provides valuable insights into the key drivers of successful B2B relationships in the wedding industry. Limitation: The study suggests that sales professionals and venue managers should prioritize developing strong interpersonal skills to enhance trust and foster positive recommendations from WOs. Future research should explore larger and more diverse samples to verify these findings across different regions and industries, expanding the understanding of interpersonal dynamics in B2B relationships. Contribution: Specifically, it highlights the crucial role of interpersonal skills in building trust, which in turn increases the likelihood of venue recommendations.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to find the influence of khowledge, perception, and satisfaction on the loyalty of the BMT Asy-Syafi’iyah Berkah Nasional members. Methodology/approach: This research applies a quantitative method and field-research approach. The data is obtained from literature by reading journals, books, websites and any written sources as preliminary data for the research. In addition, it also uses observation and interviews. The primary data is obtained from questionnaires sent to members of BMT Asy-Syafi’iyah Berkah Nasional. Results/findings: The first independent variable, knowledge, has a positive and significant effect on loyalty partially. The second independent variable, perception, has a positive and significant effect on loyalty partially. The third independent variable, satisfaction, has a positive and significant effect on loyalty partially. Simultaneously, knowledge, perception, and satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of BMT Asy-Syafi’iyah Berkah Nasional. Conclusion: The result of the t-test (partial) using t count on the knowledge variable (X1) is 3.717 and t table is 3.182. So, t count > t count (3.182 > 3.717). Limitations: Only three independent variables were analyzed for this research, while there are more than three variables. In addition, the research only analyses statistical data and it needs deeper analyses to get better results. Contribution: Results of this research are expected to give better perspectives on which factors actually influence loyalty of members of BMT Asy-Syafi’iyah. Finally, by knowing this result, the management will get better perspective on which ones should be improved to get better performance of the company.
