Abstract

The current rapid advancement of information technology is closely tied to the growing demand for information. The web has evolved into a tool that not only provides information but also processes it. Utilizing web technology for information processing has turned the web into a dynamic information medium. There are numerous possibilities with web applications, such as developing a Helpdesk Ticketing System for companies or institutions to establish a more effective and efficient issue reporting system. The increasing number of internally reported issues has made tracking all reported problems more challenging. The result of this research is the system prototype has been successfully built. The built system can operate as expected by system users, which is demonstrated by the results of testing using the black box testing method. The outcomes of this research is to identify the application development model that can expedite and enhance the development process using three methods, namely Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Extreme Programming (XP), and Scrum. The utilization of the XP method approach by the researcher in building the helpdesk ticketing system has proven to be highly effective in accelerating system development

Abstract

Social media is a socializing activity through the internet, which has many conveniences that allow people to communicate and access information quickly. Social media is widely used to get news that is difficult to get. Social media applications are quite popular such as Twitter and recently social media that has similar features, namely Threads. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare 3 algorithmic methods of user-generated reviews on two applications, namely Twitter and Threads. We used 899 reviews on Twitter, with 245 positive sentiments and 654 negative sentiments, and 638 reviews on Threads, with 220 positive sentiments and 418 negative sentiments. Cleansing, preprocessing, and modeling are the steps that will be passed to process the data. In this study, split data and cross validation models were used, and the three algorithms used were Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, and KNN, with a ratio of 80:20 for training data and test data. The accuracy value obtained for Naïve Bayes is 85.56%, Decision Tree is 72.78%, and KNN on the Twitter application, while the threads application gets 66.41% for Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree gets 65.41%, and the threads application gets 66.41%. In the Naïve Bayes algorithm, precision, recall are calculated in the Threads and Twitter applications. The Threads application gets 64.86% in precision and 73.85% in recall, while the Twitter application gets 84.69% in precision and 88.30% in recall.

Abstract

E-commerce is one of the major innovations in the business world in this era of globalization, so this innovation must continue to be developed so that it can help a business in business efficiency. This design aims to design a Web-Based E-Commerce System using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Method to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the clothing industry in Batam City. The method that will be used is to identify target users through qualitative methods, including interviews and needs analysis, to understand the characteristics, preferences and challenges faced by stakeholders in the e-commerce context and using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method in design. web-based e-commerce. Designing an e-commerce system that suits the needs and preferences of target users. So based on this design evaluation, the results can be the answer to the problems faced and help efficiency in a business.

Abstract

Oil is an important part of a vehicle, especially the engine. Cars really need to pay attention to maintenance, especially when using the oil used in the engine. Until now, many car oil maintenance has not paid much attention, resulting in damage to the components in the engine, and also still few pay attention to the kilometre indicator that has been travelled on the speedometer as a reference in changing engine oil in the car. This research was made to provide solutions to existing problems and with the hope that this application can help car users in carrying out engine maintenance on vehicles used in a more effective and efficient way. In addition to changing the oil regularly according to the manufacturer's guidelines, vehicle owners also need to understand the importance of checking the oil level regularly and ensuring there are no leaks. By understanding the importance of car oil maintenance, vehicle owners can ensure optimal performance and avoid unnecessary engine damage, which in turn can save repair costs and extend vehicle life. The application developed is a REST API implementation created using Android Studio tools with a MySQL database as a place to store oil data on vehicles.

Abstract

Problems in political party elections involve a number of issues which include corruption and political scandals which can damage public trust, campaign promises which are often not kept, elections which are too personal which obscure more important political issues, high polarization and an imbalance between ruling and opposition parties, election manipulation and election crimes, problems related to campaign financing that can affect the independence and integrity of political parties, limited access to information that can influence voters, lack of diversity representation within political parties, media polarization that makes constructive dialogue difficult , as well as limitations in electoral systems that can affect the representation and responsiveness of political parties. The use of the SAW method can be applied using criteria found in actual conditions so that the party election simulation in this research can be used as an insight into the conditions in political party elections. This provides insight to the wider community on how to choose a good and careful party. This research shows that Political Party A is the best among several other political parties which are used as alternatives with a calculation result of 0.9675 using Simple Additive Weighting

Abstract

The main purpose of making this system to help KUD Sedyo Mulyo in managing employee data more efficiently and effectively. Palm Oil Employee Data Collection Information System must be developed and implemented. The oil palm plantation company KUD Sedyo Mulyo will be the subject of a case study that will be used in this research. KUD Sedyo Mulyo currently faces a number of problems in managing employee data. Some of the problems include data collection, maintenance, and manual processing of employee data. As a result, an information system that can assist them in overcoming these problems is needed. Requirement analysis, system design, software development, and implementation are the methodologies that will be used in this research. KUD Sedyo Mulyo will find specific needs in this case to start the needs analysis stage of the worker registrar. Next, the system design is done. This includes building the database, user interface, and system features. After the system design is complete, software development is carried out that meets the specifications. After that, the system will be tried out at the KUD Sedyo Mulyo production site and tested to ensure that it is successful. This research will produce an application for Palm Oil Employees that will help KUD Sedyo Mulyo manage its employee data more efficiently and effectively. With this system, KUD Sedyo Mulyo will be able to perform data collection, maintenance, and processing automatically, which will reduce human errors and optimize the use of resources

Abstract

The Yogyakarta Palace, as a center of Javanese culture rich in history, art and tradition, attracts world attention and is the subject of various tourist reviews. In the digital era, these reviews are important for managing and improving tourism services. In particular, information technologies such as Google Maps facilitate public participation by providing a platform for visitors to share their experiences through reviews. These reviews provide important feedback for managers and potential visitors, while driving service improvements and innovation. Therefore, this research conducts review sentiment analysis using a Machine Learning model which is used to understand visitors' positive and negative views and compares three popular models in sentiment analysis, namely Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Review data collection uses the web scraping method with Selenium, followed by a preprocessing stage which includes translation, cleaning, normalization, tokenizing, removing stopwords, and stemming to prepare the data for sentiment analysis. Labeling is done based on review ratings, with a threshold below 4 for negative sentiment and 4 or 5 for positive. Based on data processing and analysis, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model was proven to be the best model with an accuracy of 87.12% and an F1-Score of 90.91%, followed by Logistic Regression and Naive Bayes

Abstract

The public service system in Tlagawera Village has used information technology in the form of a website called the Village Information System (SID). SID is a website that contains various village administration services such as; general administration, population administration, financial administration, service development administration, and other administrations. SID has yet to reach its potential, with most services still conducted offline. This triggered researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of SID to improve the quality of public services, in order to improve the quality of services of the Tlagawera Village Authority that supports responsive, transparent, and community-oriented governance. This research uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach with the constituents used, namely External Variable, Perceived Usfulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioural Intention to Use, Actual System Use. The study was conducted using 186 samples who were SID users using the Non-Probability Sampling method with the type of Purposive sampling. Data analysis using Particial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that the important factor of External Variables had a positive effect on Perceived Usefulness, this was evidenced by the test results which showed the value of T-Statistcs which was 2.214 with P-Values 0.027. In addition, the Perceived Usefulness construct has a positive effect on Attitude Toward Using as evidenced by the test results that show the value of T-Statistcs is 68,769 with a P-Values of 0.000.   In addition, the construct of Perceived Usefulness has a positive effect on Behavioural Intention to Use, evidenced by theresults of hypothesis testing which shows a T-Statistcs value of 4,388 with a P-Values of 0,000. With the results obtained, it is concluded that the importance of external factors and perceptions of usefulness in increasing the acceptance and intention of using SID

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt in changes in consumption patterns. Society and consumption patterns are inseparable, greatly people's consumption patterns that increase during the pandemic are fruits. Fruits are foods rich in vitamins that the body needs to build immunity during this pandemic. Types of fruits are grouped into 2, namely dried fruits and fleshy fruits. To make it easier for consumers to find out the image data of these types of fruit using the CNN method. Convolutional Neural Network is a deep learning algorithm designed to process data in two-dimensional form, for example images or sounds. Based on the classification results that have been carried out obtained values, namely Precision of 94% and 85%, Recall of 85% and 95%, F1-score of 90%, Macro Average of 90%, and Weighted Average of 90%, Weighted Average of 90%.

Abstract

General elections are a procedure for selecting leaders in a democratic country. However, during the General Election, the vulnerability to vote manipulation is one of the growing issues. Currently, e-voting systems allow hackers to control the system and tamper with election results. In addition, an election process system that is not transparent is difficult to supervise jointly. In this article, a prototype of a general election application is proposed in the voting phase, collecting vote results at each polling station and vote recapitulation. This research uses the blockchain concept with the Ethereum platform. The e-voting system applies smart contracts on the public Ethereum blockchain network. The aim is to maintain the security of election results data and maintain voter confidentiality by using an Ethereum address that represents one voter. In addition, by using the Ethereum public blockchain network, the election process can be monitored jointly. The results obtained in the research conducted in this paper show how the application of blockchain can maintain data integrity by showing the value of the data
