The design of this study uses analytics using the Case Control and sampling approach that is used is a non probability sampling with a number of 60 people and the number of samples taken by 36 respondents. Data collection used questionnaires coded, scored, tabulated and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the study were 20 respondents (56%) with dietary patterns that did not fit the diet, 20 respondents (56%) with high blood pressure, from the Chi-Square analysis of 0,000 showed a significant value, meaning H0 was rejected or there was a relationship between consumption patterns food with increased blood pressure. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between food consumption patterns and an increase in blood pressure.

Abstract

Introduction: Incision is a wound caused by a sharp object, for example in surgery. The characteristics of the wound are pain, open wounds, and the length of the wound is greater than in it. Handling the wound there are various ways, one of which is using Aloe Vera. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of topical Aloe vera gel concentration of 10%, 20%, and 40% to determine the amount of fibroblast tissue in wistar strain rats (Rattus orvegicus) in incisions. Methods: This study uses an experimental design with a sample of 75 rats divided into 5 groups; 0.9% NaCl group, 1% tulle-framycetin sulfate group, 10% Aloe vera group, 20% Aloe vera group and 40% Aloe vera group. Samples of incisional wound skin were performed on days 3.7, and 12. All data were processed and analyzed statistically using SPSS 20. Based on microscopic observations at 10 times per field of view, the highest number of fibroblasts given at NaCl was given on the day 12th is 28.98 per field of view, treatment using tulle-framycetin sulfate 1% is 34.5 per field of view, treatment using Aloe vera 10% is 17.32 per field of view, treatment using Aloe vera 20% is 33, 9 per field of view while the treatment using Aloe vera was 40% ie 18.7 per view. Results : The results of the study with the Independent T-test and Paired T-test showed that the results of fibroblast tissue between 0.9% NaCl group, 1% tulle-framycetin sulfate, 10% Aloe vera, 40% Aloe vera with 20% Aloe vera there were differences which were significant (p <0.05) where 20% Aloe vera gave effective results in the wound healing process. Conclusion : This study concluded that 20% of Aloe vera can be used as an alternative choice of wound healing. In the next study it is expected to examine the variable TGF (Transforming Growth Factor) that affects cell growth in wound healing.

Abstract

Introduction: Phlebitis is inflammation of the veins caused by chemical irritations of additives and drugs that are given intravenously. Phlebitis is characterized by the presence of a red and warm area around the area of stabbing or along the vein. This study aims to determine the effect of disinfection (alcohol swab) on intravenous bolus injection with phlebitis. Methods: The research design used in this study is pre-experiment (Static Group Comparison). In this study the population was all patients who received intravenous bolus therapy. The sample in this study were some patients who received intravenous bolus therapy who met the inclusion criteria. Sampling in this study was simple random sampling with a total sample of 52 respondents. Results: From the Chi Square Test x2 = 17,333 and p = 0,00 because p <0. (0,00 <0,05) then H0 is rejected which means there is an influence of disinfection of alcohol swab during intravenous bolus injection with phlebitis occurrence. The number of respondents in the control group who did not / without using alcohol swab almost all respondents had phlebitis (84.6%) and only a small number did not occur phlebitis (15.3%) while respondents who were given alcohol swab during injection via intravenous bolus almost all phlebitis did not occur (92.3%) and a small proportion occurred phlebitis (7.6%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, can be concluded that there is an influence of alcohol swab during intravenous injection with the occurrence of plebebitis. The effort that can be done to prevent phlebitis is aseptic technique in the area of insertion and disinfection that is strong in medical devices, observation of signs and symptoms of phlebitis, infusion catheter must be replaced if it is installed > 27 hours.
