Abstract

Pendahuluan:Tugas perkembangan kemandirian anak pada usia toddlerdapat dilatih dengan toilet training. Faktanya pada anak prasekolah masih ada yang anak yang belum siap dan belum berhasil melakukan toilet training. Hasil studi pendahuluan salah satu TK di Lamongan menunjukkan sebagian kecil anak prasekolah masih mengompol dan memakai pampers saat malam hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu dengan keberhasilan toilet trainingpada anak prasekolah. Metode:Penelitian cross sectionaldengan jumlah sampel 40 responden memakai teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan ibu dan kuesioner keberhasilan anak dalam toilet training. Analisa data meliputi univariat dan uji fishers exact test(p value < 0.05). Hasil:Penelitian menyebutkanadanya hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu dengan keberhasilan toilet training pada anak prasekolah (p value = 0.013).Simpulan:Perlu adanya pendidikan kesehatan dari puskesmas dan dinas pendidikan tentang toilet training kepada orang tua untuk meningkatkan kesiapan dan keberhasilan toilet training.

Abstract

Background: Breast milk is an important component needed by infants to meet nutritional needs and the formation of the baby's immune system. Mothers post sectio caesarea (SC) often experience problems in breastfeeding. Incorrect position and attachment in breastfeeding are the most common causes of delays in breastfeeding.Objectives: To find out the management of nursing care for breastfeeding is not effective in post SC mothers.Design: This research uses a case study approach (case report).Data Sources: In this study, data were obtained through the process of interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation studies on post sectio caesarea mothers.Results: Nursing care with lactation counseling interventions and breastfeeding education can be applied to post SC mothers according to the expected outcomes, the client's breastfeeding status has improved on the third day. The mother's anxiety decreases, the baby's fussiness is reduced because the baby's attachment to the mother's breast increases, the mother's ability to position the baby correctly increases, the breast milk supply is quite increased, the mother's confidence increases and the baby's suction increases.Conclusions: The implementation of lactation counseling and breastfeeding education can overcome the problem of ineffective breastfeeding and in accordance with the expected outcomes. Lactation counseling and breastfeeding education can be chosen to be carried out according to the condition of the mother in the taking hold phase, it is necessary to form a counselor as the main profession.

Abstract

Introduction: Placenta previa is a condition where the placenta implants in an abnormal place, namely in the lower uterine segment so that it partially or completely covers the birth canal. This situation can result in bleeding before the fetus is at term and ends with the death of the baby.Objective: This study aims to describe nursing care for the risk of bleeding in pregnant women with placenta previa.Methods: This research uses a case study design. Data collection from assessment to nursing evaluation was carried out in the obsgyn room of RSI Nasrul Ummah Lamongan in November 2019. Clients were hospitalized for a minimum of three days. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using narrative analysis based on analysis of relevant facts and theories.Results: In the study, two respondents were pregnant with 3rd parity, did not experience bleeding during pregnancy, the results of the ultrasound examination showed that the position of the placenta covered the birth canal. The nursing diagnosis established is the risk of bleeding related to pregnancy complications; placenta previa (D0012). The intervention was education, physical activity limitation, consumption of foods rich in vitamin K, iron. observation of bleeding and vital signs and collaborative for further action. Evaluation 72 hours no bleeding, no signs of anemia. The discussion is expected that nurses provide health education about placenta previa and the risk of bleeding in pregnancy.Conclusion: After implementing nursing for 72 hours there was no bleeding, no signs of anemia. The reference from this research is for nurses to provide health education about the risk of bleeding in pregnant women.Keywords: Risk of Bleeding, Placenta Previa, Pregnancy.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Inkontinensia urine (IU) adalah komplikasi yang sering timbul setelah tindakan Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP). Kondisi tersebut dapat diatasi dengan latihan kegel karena mampu meningkatkan daya tahan otot dasar panggul sehingga meningkatkan resistensi uretra dan memperbaiki kemampuan berkemih serta mudah dilakukan secara mandiri, kapan saja, dan dimana saja.Tujuan: Menganalisis efektifitas latihan kegel terhadap skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-TURPMetode: Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen dengan besar sampel 64 responden yang diambil dengan metode systematic random sampling (32 kelompok intervensi, 32 kelompok kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner ICIQ-UI-SF untuk mengukur inkontinensia urin. Analisis data penelitian dengan uji Paired t-test dan uji Independen t-test dengan derajat kemaknaan α<0,05.Hasil: Hasil uji statistik Paired t-test menunjukkan latihan kegel mampu menurunkan skor inkontinensia urin pada pasien pasca-TURP dengan p=0,000 dan CI=0,688, dan hasil uji statistik Independent t-test didapatkan perbedaan skor inkontinensia urine pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol pasca-latihan kegel dengan p=0,000.Kesimpulan: Latihan kegel secara efektif menurunkan skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-operasi TURP.

Abstract

Introduction: The Lactation Amenorrhoea Method or MAL is contraception that relies exclusively on breastfeeding or breast milk. From the initial survey the study found 40% of those who had not participated in Family Planning or Family Planning, and 60% who had taken the Pill and Injections. The aim of the study was to describe the knowledge of MAL in nursing mothers in the Soko Sub-District Health Center Working Area, Tikung Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. Methods: This study used a descriptive design, with a population of 40 people and a sample of 30 people. The sampling used was Consecutive Sampling. Data collection with questionnaire sheets, after the data collected is done Editing, Coding, Tabulating, Scoring, percentage of data then analyzed descriptively data. Results: Based on the results of research on knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about MAL, most (53.3%) had insufficient knowledge, and a small percentage (6.7%) had good knowledge. The conclusion of this study is that most nursing mothers have less knowledge about MAL. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that most breastfeeding mothers have less knowledge about the Lactation Amenorrhoea Method or MAL.

Abstract

Introduction: Jaundice is a condition that is often found in the 24 hours after the birth of the baby due to hyperbilirubinemia. Hyperbilirubinemia can cause various complications and death if not treated properly and immediately. The knowledge and ability of nurses in providing nursing care for neonatal jaundice still need to be improved. This study aims to describe nursing care for neonatal jaundice in hyperbilirubinemia infants. Methods: This study uses a case study approach design through the nursing process with a sample of a hyperbilirubinemia baby with neonatal jaundice nursing problems. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study uses narrative analysis. Results: The case report found jaundice on the skin, sclera, and mucosa. The nursing diagnosis in this study was neonatal jaundice associated with less than 7 days of age. The intervention provided in the form of phototherapy and breastfeeding education showed the result was not found jaundice on the skin, sclera, and mucosa after three days. Conclusion: The provision of phototherapy and breastfeeding education is effective in solving neonatal jaundice.

Abstract

Introduction: Hyperbilirubinemia is a problem that often occurs in newborns. In pathological conditions, infants experience jaundice throughout the body or degrees three to six experiencing hyperbilirubinemia > 12 mg/dl. Complications of kernicterus where brain cells are damaged, are characterized by seizures, decreased consciousness and can end in death. East Java Health Profile 2013, neonatal icterus neonatorum death ranks third. Methods: This research uses a case study design. Data collection from assessment to nursing evaluation was carried out in the neonatal room of Dr. Soegiri Lamongan Hospital in November 2019. Clients were treated in hospital for three to five days. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using narrative analysis based on analysis of relevant facts and theories. Results: In the assessment, the baby experienced symptoms of jaundice, yellow mucous membranes, yellow skin, and yellow sclera. Intervention and implementation were observing the degree of jaundice, vital signs, intake output, signs of dehydration, and phototherapy. Health education on breastfeeding and collaboration in drug administration. Conclusions: There is a match between theory and cases, there is a decrease in the degree of jaundice. The reference from this study is that nurses are able to provide health education on breastfeeding, do phototherapy and be able to detect the incidence of jaundice early in infants so there is no kern icterus and other complications.

Abstract

Introduction: One way to minimize the impact of hospitalization is storytelling with dolls or puppet shows , which is a type of game using puppet media through fantasy games for preschoolers (3-6 years old). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of play therapy "puppet show" on the impact of hospitalization on preschool children (3-6 years) in the Orchid room of Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik Regency. Methods: This study uses a quasi experiment with one group pre test and post test design. The population of this research is parents who have preschool age children (3-6 years) who are hospitalized in the Orchid Room of Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik Regency. While the sampling using consecutive sampling technique obtained 22 parents. The independent variable studied was play therapy "puppet show". The dependent variable in this study was the impact of hospitalization on preschool children aged (3-6 years) who experienced hospitalization. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire then analyzed through the T-test statistical test. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between positive and negative impacts on pre-school age children during nursing actions before and after play therapy "puppet show" (p value = 0.005 smaller than = 0.05). Conclusions: Based on the results of the research obtained, the need for play should still be given to children undergoing hospital treatment to continue the child's growth and development, reduce stress and tension.

Abstract

Introduction : Continuous urinary incontinence is the continued and uncontrolled passing of urine without distension and a feeling of fullness in the bladder due to neurological dysfunction. This condition is often found in the elderly post-ischemic stroke. The study aimed to describe nursing care of continuous urinary incontinence in the elderly post-ischemic stroke in Lamongan. Methods : This study used a case study approach (case report) on a participant through the nursing process approach. The sample in this study is one patient, an elderly post-ischemic stroke. This research was conducted in 2021 in Lamongan with three visits to patients' homes for seven days. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and physical examination. This research instrument uses the gerontic nursing care format and sandvik severity index. Results : Continuous urinary incontinence nursing care with the main intervention for urinary incontinence treatment (I.04163) and the supporting intervention is pelvic muscle exercises (I.07215) can be applied to elderly post-ischemic stroke according to the expected outcomes. The continuous urinary incontinence has a partially resolved on the third home visit. The client can hold urine several times when the bladder feels full, reduced the frequency of night urination, and rarely wakes up because of wet diapers. Sandvik Severity Index shows a value of 4 (moderate incontinence). Conclusions: Improving nursing care need for collaboration between patients, families, and health workers in performing pelvic muscle exercises independently, continuously, and regularly to increase the strength of the detrusor-sphincter muscles and showed improvement in urinary continence.

Abstract

Background and aims. Covid-19 is currently a global health problem, with the spread and transmission to the population almost all over the world. This has a psychological impact on the elderly which will affect mental health and quality of life. This study aims to identify the relationship of depression, anxiety, coping strategies with the quality of life of the elderly during the covid-19 pandemic in Lamongan. Method and materials. This study uses a cross sectional design, the population is all the elderly in the Lamongan area. The sampling technique used cluster sampling technique, with a total sample of 232 respondents. The independent variables are depression, anxiety and coping strategies, while the dependent variable is the quality of life of the elderly. Instruments for depression used the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS 15), anxiety using the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI) and quality of life using the WHOQOOL-BRIEF questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Multiple linear regression test.Result. The results showed that there was a relationship between depression and quality of life (ρ=0.001), there was a relationship between anxiety and quality of life (ρ=0.000) and there was also a relationship between coping strategies and quality of life (ρ=0.027). Conclusion. The study provides important information about the psychological impact of developing appropriate psychological interventions to improve mental health and quality of life, especially for at-risk groups, especially the elderly.
