Journal of diversity in learning (JDIL): this journal must include diversity in learning as the integrity of learning and as practice in the classroom in the reality of dynamic and ever-changing learning. This journal must provide a new perspective on the gap between theoretical approaches and practices that occur in the field directly. So the journal invites a meeting point for several disciplines and scholars, with the concept of thinking about diversity in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the level of students' understanding of the function of Pancasila which is the theme of learning through classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 7th graders at SDN Balongwangi III, Tikung District, Lamongan Regency. The author's consideration of taking the research subject is that fifth grade students can increase the motivation and achievement of Civics learning with the Discovery learning method. The results of the study found that the use of the discovery learning method was able to improve Civics learning abilities. By using the discovery method, Civics learning outcomes increased from the average in cycle 1 which was only 69, in cycle 2 to 85. This increase in learning outcomes was obtained after students were directly involved in the process of finding problems presented by the teacher. This hands-on experience makes students enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by using a guided inquiry model approach to learning science. In the VA class of SDN 002 North Samarinda, this study used classroom action research (CAR). This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class VA students at SDN 002 North Samarinda because teachers used more of the lecture approach and made learning activities in class less interesting. Cycle III consisting of three meetings per cycle was used for this research. The research subjects were 25 VA students at SDN 002 North Samarinda consisting of 14 boys and 11 girls. When conducting research, the guided inquiry approach can improve student learning outcomes. The percentage of student learning outcomes increased from 69.6% in the first cycle in the poor category to 76.8% in the second cycle in the good category to 80.52 percent in the third cycle in the very good category. The following difficulties were found by researchers in using the guided inquiry model: students who were still passive in class and less effective in practicing the teacher's teaching tactics. The conclusions of this study support the notion that the use of guided inquiry learning models is very beneficial for student learning outcomes. Therefore, the guided inquiry approach can be used as a teaching strategy for teaching science topics in elementary schools.

(2) learning completeness in the knowledge assessment cycle I was 54.9% of students completed, cycle II was 78.9% of students were complete and in cycle III students completed 84.4% (3) learning completeness in the skills assessment cycle I was 43 .75% of students complete, cycle II of 71.9% of students complete and in cycle III of students complete of 81.25%. The data above it clearly shows that the social science technology model with a constructivist approach that has been applied to heat and its transfer material can improve student learning outcomes in class VII-I School and Center – Janodaya Vidhyalaya, Madanapalli.
