Abstract

The research objectives are: (1) To determine the influence of the role of driving teachers on the success of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students in Samarinda, (2) To determine the influence of the principal's academic supervision management on the success of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students in Samarinda, (3) To determine the influence the role of driving teachers and academic supervision management together in the success of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project in Samarinda. The method used is a survey with a quantitative approach that is causal (cause and effect). The total population was 133 people with a sample of 100 people. The data collection technique uses a rating scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential statistics with simple linear regression formulas and multiple linear regression. The research results show that: (1) The role of the driving teacher influences the success of the Pancasila student profile by 51%. (2) The school principal's academic supervision management influences the success of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students by 61.9%. 3) The role of the driving teacher and the principal's academic supervision management together influenced the success of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students by 65.4%. This means that the more the role of teacher motivators and principals' academic supervision management increases, the greater the success of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

In Thailand, research on inclusion program predominantly focused on inclusion programs in government-run schools. The need to understand specific inclusion of students with special needs (SEN) within faith-based settings cannot be neglected. This study addresses this gap by investigating the processes by which diverse faith-based schools in Thailand foster the inclusion of students with special needs. Through in-depth interviews with nine participants and observations from two faith-based schools, a case study was employed, incorporating within-case and cross-case analysis. Findings reveal that faith-based schools established inclusion models aligned to the schools’ mission statements and values. Inclusive practices were open communication, parental involvement, teachers’ collaboration, and specific inclusion strategies such as accommodation and modification, as well as celebrating diversity and inclusion. Barriers to inclusion include lack of knowledge, skills, and training in inclusion. Further research on the long-term influence of faith-based schools’ values on inclusion practices and the quality of life of SEN can enhance global understanding of faith-based approaches to inclusivity.

Abstract

Every teacher who teaches a foreign language must have challenges in teaching and managing the classroom. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the English teachers’ challenges in English classroom management at SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf. (2) To describe the strategies used by teachers to solve the challenges in English classroom management at SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf. The subjects of this study were three teachers who taught English subjects at SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf. This research used a qualitative method. The instruments that the researcher employed were documentation, interviews, and observation. The researcher applied Miles et al.'s theory—data reduction, data display, conclusion drafting, and verification—to the data analysis process. The study's findings suggest that: (1) Teachers have difficulties when instructing pupils in English, including inadequate vocabulary acquisition, insufficient exposure to the language, psychological issues, linguistic difficulties, and low proficiency. (2) Teachers used several strategies to overcome the challenges they faced, such as the Determination Strategy, Group Discussion Strategy, and Communication Strategy. It appears that there are still a lot of difficulties in controlling and instructing English in the classroom when it comes to some of these issues. Therefore, in order to create a safe and comfortable learning environment where learning proceeds without problems teachers must employ a variety of teaching strategies in addition to appropriate classroom management techniques.

The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, which is processed using the SPSS program. From the results of research and data analysis carried out by researchers using the t test, it was found that self-efficacy, Motivation, and Information Technology partially had a significant effect on the performance of State Middle School teachers in North Balikpapan. Then, simultaneously through the F test, it was found that self-efficacy, motivation and information technology had a significant effect on the performance of State Middle School teachers in North Balikpapan. This shows that if there is an increase in self-efficacy, motivation and information technology, it will improve the performance of State Middle School teachers in North Balikpapan.

Abstract

This qualitative method with a case study aims to describe the students’ perception of blended learning model use in teaching and learning English as a foreign language. The research subjects were the tenth-grade students of SMAN 11 Makassar consisting of 38 students taken purposely as the sample of this research. It used semi-structured interviews as the instrument to collect the data needed using narrative analysis with the framework of qualitative analysis developed by Miles and Huberman (1994) into four elements, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. It was found that the students positively and negatively perceived the use of blended learning models in learning English. The positive perception was indicated by their good responses, actions, and attitudes, that is a feeling good about learning, a comfortable classroom atmosphere, and a feeling of motivation to learn. Conversely, the students are negatively perceived due to their bad responses, actions, and attitudes, namely a feeling confused about learning, uncomfortable classroom interaction and atmosphere, and feeling demotivated in learning. These findings take into consideration that the use of blended learning may lead the students to gain either a good or bad learning mood in teaching English classroom interaction.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning at MTs Sheikh Yusuf is fairly low due to the use of inappropriate learning media which results in students not understanding Indonesian language learning. Isn't it with the existence of various learning media that students are able to have many choices of learning media to use in the learning process according to their personal characteristics. to find out the Effectiveness of Using Toontastic-Based Animated Learning Media on Indonesian Learning Interest of MTs Sheikh Yusuf Gowa Regency Students. The type of research used in this study is a type of quantitative research with an experimental method with a pre experimental method using a one shot case study research design. This shows that the hypothesis test as evidenced by the statistical analysis of the correlation test which states a significant value of 0.040 <0.05. The results of the analysis can also be seen from the value of r count which is 0.371> r table 0.355 so that it can be interpreted that there is a correlation relationship between the use of toontastic-based animated learning media and student learning interest, which means that the use of toontastic-based animated learning media on student learning interest is effective in Indonesian language subjects class VII.A at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sheikh Yusuf Gowa Regency. The suggestions for future research are expected to make the results of this study a reference for conducting better research by maximising the use of media as a means in the learning process in the classroom.
