The published articles provide valuable insight into matters of broad intellectual and practical concern to academicians and business professionals. The Journalis published three times a year: in April, July and October. The journal is mainly an outlet of MBA ITB students to publish their final project works, although it also accepts articles written by students at masters level from other institutions. A published paper is an honor that will be unambiguously beneficial for professional and academic careers, especially for those who want to attend graduate/professional schools. This means that papers written in relations to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy all qualify for submission. Information on the journal format can be found in the journal's website. The number of pages must be at 10 pages. Abstract

Abstract - The objective of this research is to improve the mine planning performance in PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI). Currently metal forecasting often faces many scenarios and changes shortly because of some dynamic parameters and conditions. The new improved mine planning must be more powerful to handle it. To achieve the objective, the writer surveyed and analyzed the forecasting performance data in the past and then proceeded with a mapping of forecasting process to see how the parameters linked and conditions applied. The team observed that the current conventional method is too rigid for doing mine-mill model simulation. Adjusting the amount of ore delivery to mill needs extension until the Mine Scheduling or Sequencing, beyond than Cutoff grade adjustment. Furthermore, the geological type of ore mined needs fully integration to the mill-model. After the problem identified, by using the Goldratt’s analyses tool called Current Realty Tree (CRT), a team is constructed to analyze some undesired effects and then to seek its solution. Surveying some literatures and benchmarking to other mining companies are conducted to gain more tactical solutions. Finally, a new mine planning method were set up. It uses mining reserve database, filtering concept and bench percentage mining logical formula. This new method is well accepted and implemented to analyze mining scenario quickly. This new method is now applied side by side with convectional method.  This new design is available to produce a robust plan to support strategic planning group on optimizing the strategic mine planning goals. Keywords: Grasberg Surface Mine, Long Range Mine Planning, Forecasting, Mine Scheduling, Interactive Mine Planning.

Abstract

Abstract – The objective of this study is to formulate business model of an institution for national gas aggregator by using nine building blocks of the canvas business model.  This institution is expected to bridge the disparity of natural gas price between upstream producers and to provide standardization of natural gas price.  This step will be followed by calculating the gas price aggregators as a national reference for 2017.  This research is a case study that combines interviews, observations and analysis reports.  Data collection methods conducted by direct communications within SKK Migas as well as through observation and reporting on the relevant document, archives, and reports to learn and understand the current conditions regarding the utilization and patterns of natural gas sales in Indonesia as one but promising energy resources.  In order to address the natural gas price disparity from various region natural gas and to eliminate trader, it needs to set up an aggregation system that obliged each producers sale natural gas only through the institution and consumers only buy natural gas from the aggregator institution.  Nine building blocks of the canvas business model is structured to be able to run the aggregation system in order to eliminate the natural gas price disparity and natural gas sales execution which is conducted by the Government through national gas aggregator institution.  By using weighted average method plus alpha (where alpha is a component operational costs companies), the prices of natural gas price from the entity in 2017 is USD 5.36/MMBTU.  The price is still lower than the average gas price in the first quarter of 2017 of USD 5,55/MMBTU.Keywords: Natural Gas, Aggregator Price, Weighted Average Method, Nine Buildings Blocks of Business Model Canvas

Abstract. This paper discusses the Power Plant financing scheme for PT. Bosowa Maros Energy (BME) to be undertaken by PT. Semen Bosowa Maros (SBM). This power plant will be used to support the performance of PT. SBM in the future, as today machine utilization of PT. SBM is currently still below 50%, due to PT. SBM recent investment on Bosowa Cement Line-Unit II. In the future, with the operating Cement Line-II, production capacity of Semen Bosowa Maros will reach 85 percent of its capacity (on average) or equivalent to 85 MW of electricity use. Power Plant to be built will use Steam Power Plant (PLTU) system. All aspects of PLTU must be prepared, including selection of location, technical specification and machine, coal requirement, and so on. Legal and environmental aspects also need to be studied so as not to disturb with aspects of community life and Indonesian Law. Finally, the financial aspect must be calculated carefully so that the return of this investment can run well within the specified time period. The feasibility study of this paper is feasible according to the financial calculation, either by NPV, IRR, or Pay Back Period (PBP) parameters, so we can expect the development continue. Keywords: Feasibility Study, Electricity, Steam Power Plant (PLTU), PT.
