The Indonesia Journal of Business Administration(IJBA) is a business journal that bridges the gap between business research and practice, evaluating and reporting on new research to help readers identify and understand significant trends in their fields. The IJBA seeks to publish papers relating to business, broadly defined. It publishes articles that address both theoretical and practical issues in the broad areas of Business Strategy and Marketing, People and Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation, Operation and Performance Management, and Business Risk and Finance.Contributing academicians and researchers are encouraged to address a variety of concerns relating to all areas of business. We also encourage students to use an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing a topic, which often yields interesting and novel papers. The published articles provide valuable insight into matters of broad intellectual and practical concern to academicians and business professionals. The Journalis published three times a year: in April, July and October. The journal is mainly an outlet of MBA ITB students to publish their final project works, although it also accepts articles written by students at masters level from other institutions. A published paper is an honor that will be unambiguously beneficial for professional and academic careers, especially for those who want to attend graduate/professional schools. This means that papers written in relations to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy all qualify for submission. Information on the journal format can be found in the journal's website. The number of pages must be at 10 pages. Abstract

Abstract. The impact of global competition in legal service providers and global economic preasure lead to many lawfirm in Asia-Pasific face difficult in balancing between compensation and talents. That also happened in PT. DKI lawfirm which faced high turnover rate and low employee performance in internal management. Therefore, PT. DKI law firm is looking for a way to improve organizational performance and employee behavior and lower turnover rate to compete with other corporate law firms using MAE model (Behavior = Motivation, Ability and Environment) and action research framework. The purpose of this research is to find out what drivers in MAE Model caused high turnover and decrease of employee performance in company. This model analyzes nine drivers that are the main components in the formation of organized behaviors: Recruitment, Selection, Training, Performance Management, Compensation, Culture, Organizational Development, Organizational Design and Human Resource Planning. All data collection is done through quantitative and qualitative methods. Primary data were collected from the questionnaire and then the results of the questionnaires were made into the material by the researcher to analyze the current condition of the company and make a solution to the problem solving. In making problem solving proposals, researcher involves representatives of employees to diagnose and plan corrective measures. The results of the joint diagnosis and joint planning are then re-presented to management for review or improvement and given decisions on the implementation of improvement plan.Keywords: Employee Behavior, Organizational Performance, MAE Model, Action Research Model, Legal Service Provider

Abstract

Abstract. Music markets are moving at different speeds with diverse trends in different countries. In ASIA the growth reached 3.6%, and the strong growth occurred in Indonesia which is 16.3%. Nowadays, the way people consume music has been switched to digital, music marketing was certainly shifted in the same direction. However, it is not as simple as moving the platforms from selling CD into digital download, the right marketing strategy for Monsterstress Records, an independent record label from Bandung, Indonesia needs to be done to deal with this challenge. The problems being faced by the company is low sales compared to competitors and it poor performance in the internal of the company. To identify the root cause of problems, this research uses quantitative methodology using the concept of STP (segmenting, targeting and positioning) and marketing’s mix dimension to be applied into importance-performance analysis tool, after that researcher also identify the root cause using SWOT analysis. From the result, it can be concluded that the root cause of the problem is poor product quality and variance, lack of distribution channel, poor promotional activities, and poor organizational system. To overcome the root cause, the solutions are changing the target market and proposing new marketing strategy for Monsterstress Records. Changes occur target market in terms of geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioristic. Changes in the target market is the basis in proposing new strategy. New strategies for Monsterstress Records are recruiting new artist, release product in new physical format and digital format, new channel of distribution, new promotion arrangements and changing organizational structure and job description for each division to improve team performance. An implementation plan for applying new strategy is made in the form of a table plan. Implementation plan covering human resources and budgeting for the new strategies. Abstract

Abstract. The measurement of financial performance is becoming increasingly important due to the Economic crisis of 1997/1998 hit Asia country and slower economic growth in Indonesia since 2012. The regulation of Financial Service Authority (OJK) provides the mandatory of Measuring Health Level Assessment System of Banking Industries in Indonesia by Circular Letter SE No.14/SEOJK.03/2017. This study has a purpose to measure financial performances of state-owned banks and one private bank Indonesia in 5 years covered (2012– 2016), Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR) is the method framework that used to measure the financial performance such as Risk Profile Factor, Good Corporate Governance, Earning and Capital. The result of the study shows that over the last five years, the financial performance achieved 5 banks seem increasing of non-performing loan and impact on declining ROA performances even though the measurement was validated as healthy predicate respectively based on OJK standard rating. Research findings is getting strong by multivariate regression result shows that there is significant indication that NPL that affected to ROA performances. As recommendation, this research suggests that all the task that need as the credit analyst must be handed to professional employee according to 5c of credit concept to improve the effectiveness credit analyst approving credit loan. By improving quality credit analyst, DuPont analysis is conducted to show how the effectiveness given towards ROA Performance.Key words: Financial performance, Risk Based Bank Rating, Risk Profile Factor, Earning, Good Corporate Governance, Capital State-owned-Company banks.

Abstract - In running a company, management is inseparable from risk exposure moreover the nature of activities in PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) that run an airport management business. To effectively manage risk the company required to implement a good Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). As part of the Risk Management implementation process, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) has formulated Risk Management Guidelines (Manual) and has implemented policies and risk control measures. However, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) still needs to conduct comprehensive evaluation of  Risk Management in order to get and ideal of the company risk management maturity level. Risk Management maturity level analysis can be conducted through degree of maturity level by using Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) methods for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). These research is an explanatory research that used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The data processed in this research is primary data through survey, questionnaire, interview and secondary data through data of the existing risk management process in the company. By measuring the existing value of risk management implementation maturity level, it is expected that PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) espesialy at Sultan Sayrif Kasim II International Airport, Pekanbaru can determine whether the implementation of risk management is effective or not and then this research can generate recommendation for improvements so the implementation of risk management maturity level is in accordance with the desired target from the management.  Keywords: Risk Management Implementation, ISO 31000, Risk Management Maturity Level, Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS).

Abstract: Indonesia population is growing fast. According to Profil Kesehatan Indonesia 2015, there are 4.883.184 new babies born every year. Most of the babies grow healthy, but approximately 13% of them will have some form of growth or development disorder. This disorder will diminish the quality of our future generation if not properly treated. In order to solve this problem, PT. Klinik Lalita Indonesia develop special clinic for child growth and development named Klinik Lalita. In the market, there are several hospitals offering examination and therapy fo child growth and development disorders. With minimum capital, Klinik Lalita must develop effective marketing strategy to compete with hospitals with bigger capital. To develop proper marketing strategy, writer do several analysis: Customer problem, Strategi Canvas, Porter Five Forces Analysis, TOWS Analysis, and 7P Marketing Mix Analysis. From that analysis, writer conclude that the best strategy for Klinik Lalita is Focus Differentiation Strategy. The strategy can be broken down into several points: Focus only on child growth and development services; Maintaining good examination and therapy scheduling; choosing clinic location with strategic access, and Choosing clinic with vast parking space.Keyword : Child growth and development disorders, Klinik Lalita, PT. Abstract

Abstract – Radix Guitars is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry with the main product is the guitar. Radix was founded in 2008, having previously used the brand Marlique. After eight years of operation, Radix realize that their business activities only from selling guitar and benefit less than optimal. Lack of brand awareness encourages Radix to formulate business strategy for the survival of its business. To address these issues, an analysis of external conditions using PEST analysis, Porter's Five Forces and Competitor Analysis. As for internal analysis, using VRIO framework analysis and examine business model canvas that is currently running by Radix. All of these analyses are summarized in SWOT analysis to be used as a basis for strategy formulation. Radix Guitars has competent resources to create quality products and face the competition. Abstract. In 2014, when PT Saka Energi Indonesia (SEI) acquired HESS; oil and gas companies from the United States, Saka changed the organization including in terms of human resource management. It was found that some regions still had gaps, namely: career management and competence, remuneration, learning and performance. At present, knowledge is seen as a strategic resource whose role is very important for the Company to have a competitive advantage. One of the Company's successes in generating competitive advantages depends on the Company's ability to manage, obtain and assimilate knowledge. Without realizing it, knowledge management has been carried out by workers as individuals or individuals. This research was made to be able to determine the extent to which the understanding and interest of Saka workers has a knowledge management system to be applied in the Company using qualitative and quantitative methods. Referring to the 4 (four) perspectives in the SECI Nonaka model: people, processes, technology and governance are expected to be able to answer the questions in this study. Abstract - CV Karya Reksa Informatika is a company that carries out its work specifically for IT solutions and consulting services such as website development, mobile development, system integration, enterprise information systems, and other IT needs. CV Karya Reksa Informatika was initially established in 2016 in Sidoarjo - Surabaya.As a relatively new player, CV Karya Reksa Informatika does not have yet a marketing strategy. After 2 years running, CV Karya Reksa Informatika only relies on the relation to get new project, in the future it will be bad for the company. Through analysis of both internal and external generated, tight competition in the industry make CV Karya Reksa  Informatika should searching for new way in order to have a good portfolio and gain sustainable competitive advantage.To support this new strategy, the mobile site will also develop which will be developed by CV Karya Reksa Informatika. Abstract

Abstract. Logistics business in Indonesia has grown rapidly in recent years. Factors causing the growth of the logistics are the business globalization, domestic consumption, economic growth and the increasing of domestic and international commerce (the demand of AEC by the end of 2015). As the biggest courier and logistics services providers in Indonesia, PT.EG Express requires strategy that can help companies to take advantage of opportunity and also maintain customer satisfaction because the competitiveness among similar companies becomes greater as well.  The purpose of this study was to suggest performance management system design based on the Balanced Scorecard as a request of the company and also prepare the company to become an IPO company. Balanced Scorecard method chosen as a performance management system because this method has been known by all employees of the other methods, so that this method will be easier to be implemented. The methodology used to solve problems that occur is by way of interviews and focus groups discussion (FGD) with the parties concerned. Based on the high level of business competition and the company's internal conditions, it is proposed that the right strategy for the company's business is differentiation focus because the strategy focuses on consumers who will be targeted and in it is in accordance with the company's mission. There is a change in the vision of PT.EG Express to "To be the advance ASEAN supply chain company" as well as with the company's mission to become "To provide the best experience to customers consistently by offering excellence quality services". The core value of the company increased to five values: honesty, discipline, responsibility, visionary and cooperation. Company performance indicators designed based on four perspectives the financial, customer, internal processes, learning and growth perspectives. To ensure all the perspectives go as expected, PT.EG Express using the strategy map and initiatives strategy so that the level of achievement in reviewing the company can be repeated. The result of this research is a guide for PT.EG Express to implement the Balanced Scorecard as Performance Management System. This guide consists of a timeline schedule that starts from the beginning of 2016 and will be implemented at the beginning of 2017, the main resources requirement are software BSC and commitment from all employees, and budgeting estimation plan for as much as Rp 2.870.000.000,-. Keywords: Performance Management System, Balanced Scorecard, E-commerce logistic provider services.

Abstract

Abstract. The capital market is an important part for the economy of a country. Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) reflected that Indonesia stock market is growing rapidly in the number of investors, amount of transactions and market capitalization. Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) continues to grow more quickly than the majority of markets in developed and developing economies – not just in Asia, but in around the world. This study research has conducted regression analysis to determine the relationship between share return and selected financial ratios namely Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return on Equity (ROE) of companies listed as LQ45 in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2013 – 2017. Data used in this research is secondary data. Samples are from 19 companies listed in LQ45 Index. This study confirm that DER, NPM, EPS, PER and PBV individually have positive significant effect on the Share Return and ROE has negative significant effect on the Share Return. Likewise DER, NPM, ROE, EPS, PER and PBV are simultaneously influence the Share Return.Keywords: Regression analysis, panel data, financial ratios, share return
