Abstract

Electroplating uses aluminum material, where it’s easy to obtain, lighter, and cheaper than other metals. The research goal was to determine the ability of the electric current to power aluminum (Al) coated with silver (Ag) by the electroplating method, to determine the effect of the magnitude of the electric current and the length of time the coating process took on the weight of Al coated with Ag and to determine the strength of the metal Al after tested using Brinnell test. The method used is to compare pure Al and pure Al coated with Ag by electroplating at different currents to determine the effect of the electroplating process. A Brinnell test was carried out to determine the hardness of the Al material after electroplating. The results are the amount of current that flows during the electroplating is directly proportional to the thickness of the electroplating layer attached to the Al surface. If the electroplating process uses a large current, the attached layer will look rough and not smooth, which also affects the material testing by using the Brinnell method. The Brinnell test proves that the hardness value of the Al material is directly proportional to the thickness of the layer.

Abstract

The study examines Drivers of the Adoption of E-Government Services in the deliverance of Healthcare services in Federal Health Institutions. the study adopts drivers such as perceived Usefulness and perceived ease of use and their influence in the adoption of E-Government Services in the deliverance of Healthcare services in Federal Health Institutions. The survey research design was adopted in collecting 400 sample from administrative staff of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar using the purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using Taro Yamane sample size determinant technique. The questionnaire was the instrument of data collection. Data collected was analyzed using simple regression analysis at 0.05 confidence level. Result revealed that Perceived usefulness significantly influence the adoption of E- Governance Services in the deliverance of Healthcare services in Federal Health Institutions (R-value of 0.176a). Also result revealed that Perceived Ease of Use significantly influence the adoption of E- Governance Services in the deliverance of Healthcare services in Federal Health Institutions (R2 –value of .018). based on this result the study recommends amongst others that there is need for efforts to improve this basic infrastructure by the government should be strengthened both in terms of coverage and quality

Abstract

Gambir contains functional compounds that are included in the class of polyphenol compounds. The polyphenol compounds in gambir are mainly catechins, a natural substance that has antioxidant properties. The purpose of this study was to obtain catechin compounds from Gambir extract, to determine the solvent concentration and the right extraction temperature to obtain catechin compounds in Gambir, and to increase the selling value of Gambir latex in the Farmer community. To get the results of catechins in Gambir, this research was carried out using the infundation method. The yield of the extract was mostly found at a solvent concentration of 45% ethanol, a temperature of 105 oC and a time of 3 hours, namely 81%. Qualitative test using FeCl3 reagent can be seen that in the filtrate extracted from gambir there are catechins which show a blackish green color when dropped with FeCl3

Abstract

A Currently the development of construction work is increasingly complex and sophisticated. The nature of the production process in the construction industry makes construction work dangerous and full of risks with high complexity that can lead to stress. Project managers are demanded in terms of mastery of new technologies, tighter time limits or, changing demands on work results, and changes in work regulations can create stressful situations. However, they are required to remain productive and optimal as a form of professionalism. This study will exаmine the relаtionship between job stress аnd project manager performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the direction and significance of the relаtionship between the two variаbles. The population in this study were construction project managers in the Surabaya area with a sample of 23 respondents using purposive sampling. The test was carried out using SPSS 26 software. The data analysis techniques used in this study included validity, reliability, and correlation analysis. The results of the study show that stress and project manager performance have a strong negative relationship. Efforts to improve the performаnce of project managers is to pаy attention to the work stress they experience.

Abstract

This quantitative study attempts to validate the adoption of electronic banking channels by commercial banks for operational performance. The study was a survey that adopted a structured self-designed questionnaire to elicit data from management staff selected from commercial banks in Cross River states using proportional and simple random sampling techniques. Descriptive statistics and Pearson Product Moment correlation was used to analyse the collected data. Electronic banking channels were measured by automated teller machines and internet banking to analyse the data, and this was measured continuously. Analyse results validates the adoption of electronic banking channels (Automated teller machines and Internet banking). The study suggests factors that improve digital banking for bank profitability and operational performance based on these findings
