Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was to determine the genus of bacteria can produce electricity energy used microbial fuel cell series in waste water of tofu and develop module in enviromental mikrobiology concept in basic microbiology among December 2015- May 2016. This research did by 2 phases : isolate microbial fuel cell bakteria in waste water of tofu and development of the module. This research is descriptive, sampling did by purposive sampling, with pick sample in 3 spot there are 2 m,4 m dan 6 m in river bank from source discharges,with considering the existence of tofu waste clumps in the river source waste disposal. Parameter in this research there are test electrical energy, isolate bacteria of microbial fuel cell, and develop the module of basic microbiology. The highest electricity energy in this research observed on the 40th hour of 67,2 mV,kind of bacteria in microbial fuel cell series in tofu waste water are Entrobacter,Desulfomaculum,Sulfobacterium. Abstract

ABSTRACT Telah dilakukan penelitian deskriptif di SMPN 1 Kecamatan Bungaraya, kabupaten Siak sri indrapura pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2016 untuk mengetahahui profil profil hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah tema pencegahan kebakaran lahan dan hutan berbasis pendekatan konstruktivisme. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Bungaraya. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive sampling sebanyak 60 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah jawaban LKPD berbasis pendekatan kontruktivisme, yaitu : pencetusan ide, aplikasi, dan refleksi dan angket tertutup yang terdiri dari  4 indikator sikap ilmiah yang diukur adalah rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab,berpikir kritis dan peduli lingkungan Instrumen yang digunakan telah valid dan reliabel. Analisa data penilaian sikap merupakan modifikasi dari penilaian sikap berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 (Kemendikbud 2013). Hasil analisisa di tampilkan dalam tabel dan selanjutnya dibahas secara deskriptif.Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisa secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar berbasis pendekatan kontruktivisme dengan rerata 3.35 dikategorikan baik, berarti siswa telah memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai materi pembelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan isu kebakaran lahan dan hutan. Sikap Ilmiah siswa secara keseluruhan dikategorikan Baik. Sikap ilmiah tertinggi adalah tanggung jawab dan yang terendah adalah berpikir kritis. Abstract

ABSTRACT The study was conducted in classes VII G SMP 23 Pekanbaru 2015/2016 school year to determine the increase science process skills of students by implementing guided inquiry learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles of planning, execution and observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the science process skills that emphasizes on three areas, namely knowledge, attitudes and skills. Data were collected using tests and observation sheet. The results showed science process skills in every sphere has increased. Science process skills that emphasize cognitive seen from the results of daily tests on the first cycle that 3.05 (B) is increased in the second cycle is 3.15 (B). Students who complete the first cycle of 25 students (64.10%) and increased in the second cycle is 31 (79.49%). On average students' science process skills in the realm of attitudes in the first cycle, namely 2.90 (B) and increased in the second cycle 3.37 (B). Average science process skills of students who emphasize the domain of skills in the first cycle, namely 2.86 (B) and increased in the second cycle is 3.49 (B+). It can be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning model can improve science process skills class VII G SMP 23 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016.  Keywords: model of guided inquiry, science process skills

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research to find out the quality of hospital wastewater treatment systems with anaerobic-aerobic biofilter for design student worksheet conducted in November 2015 to January 2016. This type of research is descriptive research with field survey methods. Many samples 2 samples with pick-up points at the inlet and outlet IPAL anaerobic-aerobic biofilter system at one hospital in Pekanbaru. The collection of data with a survey method, in which the waste water samples taken at the inlet and outlet IPAL anaerobic-aerobic biofilter system hospitals. Parameters measured include the following physical parameters include temperature, TSS, TDS. Chemical parameters include pH, COD, MBAs, BOD5, NH3 Total, Oils and Grease. Microbiological parameters Total coliform. Data were analyzed descriptively. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the concentration of the most well Microorganisms Local (MOL) banana weevil in the composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm. The research was conducted from February to June 2016. The results are used as development Worksheet Students (LKPD) Class X High School Biology. This research was done in 2 stages: stage composting using oil palm empty fruit bunches Local Microorganisms (MOL) banana weevil in the Laboratory of Biology of Natural PMIPA using the RAL consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The development phase Worksheet Students (LKPD) development model ADDIE ((Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm consists of preparation of tools and materials to be used, composting, observation of the composting process and stages completion. the parameters in this study is the C / N ratio of compost, temperature, and humidity . The result showed that the treatment with a concentration of 4 ml MOL banana weevil is the best concentration in composting palm empty fruit bunches of oil. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the type of processing of tea (Camellia sinensis L. Kuntze) and the concentration of sugar to ferment kombucha and draft Worksheet Students (LKPD) High School Biology.This study consisted of two phases. The first phase is making kombucha tea using the experimental method completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 8 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were reducing sugar, total acid concentration, pH and organoleptic levels. The results obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and a further test DMRT at 5% level. The second phase is the phase Design (draft) LKPD sourced from the research phase I. LKPD design consists of two stages, namely Analysis and Design LKPD. The results showed that variations in the type of processing tea and sugar concentration provides significant effect on reducing sugar, total acid concentration, pH and organoleptic levels. The greater the concentration of sugar, the greater the reduction sugar and total acid content of kombucha tea, and increasingly lace pH of the solution. As for organoleptic color, aroma, and taste the best there is on the treatment T1G3 (black tea, sugar 120 grams). Abstract

ABSTRACT  Do research on the effectiveness of the addition of chitosan mengetaui shells on the quality of salted mackerel (Rastrelliger sp) to draft a student worksheet that was conducted in April and May 2016. The study was carried out by two phases: the field research and resistant design student worksheet (LKS ). Research experiments were conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 15 units of the experimental design. The observed parameters including moisture content, protein content, fat content and organoleptic value which include appearance, aroma, taste and texture. The results showed that the addition of shrimp shell chitosan significant effect on water content, protein content and fat content in the salted mackerel (Rastrelliger sp). Where to lower the moisture content of up to 9.545%, fat content up to 1,543% and can also increase the protein content of up to 48.905%. While hendonik organoleptic test appearance and taste of the most favored panelist on the addition of 3% chitosan concentration, aroma on chitosan 2% and while the texture preferred chitosan panelist at 4%. Results from the study are used as a design student worksheet (LKS) on the subjects of biology in high school. Key words: Chitosan, Salted Mackerel Fish, Student Worksheet.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Researchers have done to collect the data, kind of plants as produce foodstuff and the benefit in society of Rumbio on July-August 2015. Result of research was developing module learning on plant classification concept at senior high school X. This research had two phases. The first phase was collecting the data of plant as produce foodstuffspecies with survey method (interview and observation). Parameter in this research was kind of plants as produce foodstuff in Rumbio tradition society and benefits. The Data analysis used descriptive method. The second phase, develop of module learning from result of research in first phase and used ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)in 3 phase; analyze, design, development. Result of this research found 75 species and 37 plants of it plants are produce foodstuff in Rumbio Tradition society. Part of plants 36 species was fruit, plants as produce foodstuff in yard on 62% and unworked 38% plants species. The average of result in module learning was Valid on 3,99. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is the development learning module  biology ipa scientific oriented approach for improved critical thinking on the structure of plants in class VIII SMP. The research was conducted at the campus of the University of Riau FKIP Biology Education and Student responses conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in March to December 2015. This study uses 4-D model of development. Stages 4-D consists of four stages, namely Define (Definition Phase), Design (Stage Design), Develop (Development Phase), and Disseminate (Phase dissemination of). Data collection instruments used were sheets of validation and student questionnaire responses. Sheets validation judged by five validator which is composed of three lecturers and two junior high school teacher that consists of four aspects: the feasibility of the content, language, and kegrafisan dish. Results of the study the average score for the validation of the feasibility aspects of the content, language, serving and graphic on module to obtain an average score of 3.4 with very valid category. Feasibility aspects contents obtained an average score of 3.5 in the category of very valid, linguistic aspects obtained a score of 3.4 with very valid category, next to the aspect grain obtained a score of 3.4 category is very valid, and aspects kegrafisan obtain an average score of 3, 3 categories are very valid. While the average score of students' responses to a questionnaire developed module is 3.4 to excellent category. It was concluded that biological science learning modules oriented scientific approach that has been developed can be used and tested by teachers as an alternative in learning activities. Keywords: Critical thinking, Development, Module, Scientific Approach

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study was to develop a learning module oriented guided inquiry model of the material circulation system of class XI in improving students' critical thinking skills. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education Studies Program Faculty of Teaching and Education University of Riau and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in February 2015 - May 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. Instruments of data collection in this study is the assessment sheet / validation module, student questionnaire responses and critical thinking skills assessment sheet. Once the module is developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I at 12 4th semester students of biology education FKIP UR and II trials in 20 students in Class XI SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The tests for aspects of the content presented, language, presentation and kegrafisan module obtained an average score 4.20 (valid). Aspects of the content presented is obtained an average score 4.28 (very valid), aspects of language obtained a score 4.07 (valid), then to obtain a grain aspect score 4.16 (valid) and aspects of kegrafisan obtain an average score 4.30 (very valid). In the student questionnaire responses in the experiment I belong to the category module SB (Very Good), while the second test the response of 20 students of the modules developed is 84% in one study and 82% in the second study with either category. As for the average results of analysis of students' answers on the learning modules acquire 82% considered good value.
